Work Text:
Words were always the hardest for Lee. He knew an abundance of them. His own personal dictionary in the back of his mind as he planned and plotted everything in his life. He could recite an entire novel's worth of facts about the Fire Shrimp as a species, he had done it before, after all.
Such as, the fact that Fire Shrimp are scavengers that often find their sustenance through feeding on parasites or the dead epithelial tissue of fish. Isn’t that exciting? Though, they could eat anything, in theory. And they have a life span of roughly two years, however with great care you can extend their life all the way up to five years. Fire Shrimp are quite interesting in that-
… Point proven. Words were exceptionally easy when there was a script to back them up on. He could weave together a loose semblance of words to convey a point that has already been written or documented somewhere else before. But this.. What he needs to say now has never been documented before..
Which was also entirely inaccurate due to the fact millions of authors and poets and romantics have written down their professions of love in the past. Lee never got them before. Never understood how you could look at another person in this big, impossible world and think that you would devote your entire being to the cause.
He was not a religious man, not anymore. Worship had seemed so far in the past, so impossible to reach, that it was almost a skill that fell off after years of misuse. Just as the conditioning of a dog, it ebbs and fades away from the shoreline of his consciousness. But much like conditioning, it spontaneously snaps back and his spine straightens and he’s reminded just how it feels to have something so fundamental dig its claws into your chest.
Now, he got it.
He couldn’t not get it. He couldn’t stop thinking about doing everything in his power to appease the deity that lives alongside him in this small, mortal home. How do you even begin to express that amount of emotion toward the comprehensible let alone the incomprehensible.
It seemed impossible. However, that was how much of the world seems, no? Impossible until you put the work in and try to nail it down.
That was where he found himself now, sat at the small desk in the corner of their shared bedroom. His hands were interlocked on the surface of the desk, placed methodically over the piece of paper that laid on the wooden surface. All that was written on the paper was “I”. It was.. Not his finest moment. But if he were to follow the logic of arguments previous, then writing down his thoughts and feelings to be recited at a later date seemed to be the best course of action.
However, as he was quickly realizing, paper was just as difficult to confess to as a living person. The pen laid off to the side, unburdened by Lee’s own inner turmoil. He slowly pushed himself up from the chair. His feet shuffled along the carpet as he started to consider.
It had been eight months living in this house. Eight whole months. But before that, before he was commanded by the heavens to leave the house out in the middle of nowhere, he shared the tiny bedroom back in Angel’s apartment for three months.
Adding up the numbers, it had been nearly a year since everything.. Happened. His nails started to dig into the skin around his cuticles as he stared down at them. His eyebrows scrunched together as he tried to think through.. Everything. The anniversary- How bizarre to call it as such- was coming up quite soon. Angel didn’t know, it was marked in Lee’s calendar.
The day Brandon passed on was still so fresh, the buzzing feeling of the drill still shook his hand on occasion. He almost misses that part. The experiment of it all. Then, just three days later, would be an anniversary of another kind. He was more unsure what to call that. It wasn’t when Angel bestowed upon him the grace to be their partner, no. That came months later. In the quiet nights of the apartment when they shared a bed but swore it didn’t have to mean anything. A whispered question- Angel asked. No, they stated it. As if it was already something that had been decided at the dawn of time.
So, no, it wasn’t their anniversary of their partnership. It was something much more significant to him. The day that Angel saw everything, every raw, stringy vessel that extended out of his heart and spilled over to his dedication to them. The acceptance of Lee’s shrine, the acceptance of what occurred down in that basement.
His heart had never raced so hard. He had never been so terrified nor had he felt so alive . The relief that stemmed and rushed through his core at that.. It would be the most significant day in his life thus far.
That’s why he needed to be able to say this one simple phrase.
I love you.
It should be so simple. It should be so easy. Words he had heard millions of times in his lifetime. But they had to be right.
Lee walked back towards the desk, his finger finding its place between his teeth where he began to bite at the intrusive hangnail that had formed along his nail bed. He grabbed the paper and crumbled it up with one hand. Silly as it was to waste a single sheet of paper when all he had written on it was an I?
Lee threw it in the trash. He would figure it out soon.
—
Lee pushed the door open to their small house. The rain outside was pelting down, it was quite chilly as the winter months started to make themselves more pronounced. He shook his umbrella quite firmly outside the door to flick as much of the water off as he could before he stepped onto the welcome mat just beyond the threshold. It was quiet in the house, something that Lee wasn’t particularly used to anymore. More often than not, the house was always filled with the sound of music blasting.
Alas, tonight, there was no music to play. His heart started to race, his eyes flickering around the livingroom to try and find scraps of Angel’s presence. He saw their shoes tossed haphazardly by the back door, their art supplies seemed to have been thrown to the floor. Lee blinked once, twice. His heart was in his ears. He dropped the wet umbrella by the door and immediately made a dash towards the stairs.
As he clambered up the stairs, the small gray cat, Puff, woke up and sprinted down the stairs in the opposite direction. Lee hissed out a sound, not quite an apology but it’s the best he could do as he made his way to the bedroom they shared. In the room, clothes were strewn about the floor. Lee’s chest heaved, eyes tracing up to the door that was cracked open just a hair. Steam slowly flowed out from the crack, the sound of humming echoed against the tile walls.
Lee breathed out slow, feeling the embarrassment of his actions start to creep up the back of his neck. He turned, tried to make his footsteps light as he tried to ease out of the bedroom. But as he went, his foot pressed down on the one loose board that he had been trying to avoid.
“Lee? Is that you out there?”
He froze on the spot, his fingers once again finding unity before he dropped them to his side. He turned his head as if expecting the holy light to be brighter now than it had been before. But no, it was still the same crack in the bathroom door.
“Yes, I.. Got home early. I wanted to surprise you.” Lee stated, his voice level but louder to carry into the adjoining room. His feet felt frozen in the spot where he stood, but he could already feel the pull that led back to the bathroom.
“Oh.. So, you’re creeping around outside the door? You can just come in.” Angel’s voice called back. Lee’s feet moved on immediately upon being asked. He made his way to the door and pushed it open, stepping into the bathroom.
A flush of warmth spread across his cheeks and for a moment, he wondered how much of it was the heat of the bath alone and how much of it was his own interest.
This tub was much smaller than the one at the old house, not enough room for them to both be in it without.. Touching. A lot of touching. He swallowed the forming lump in his throat as he tried not to make direct eye contact with them. Luckily, he was far beyond the need to turn around and face the door.
Angel was submerged up to the shoulders in warm water, there was a loose grouping of bubbles that seemed to linger along the surface of the water. His eyes drifted down along the blurry pale form that lingered beneath the surface. His fists clenched at his sides as he fought the urge to pick at his fingers again. Still, the cuticle on his thumbnail was a victim of his finger nail digging into it.
His eyes lingered for a moment on the slick shine, pausing at the divet that formed around their collarbone. His mouth felt so dry, but all he could focus on was the bare patch of skin.
“Why are you soaked?”
Lee blinked himself back into reality and looked down at his clothes. The rain has wet his work jacket, which he neglected to take off in his panic to run up the stairs. He shuffled his feet for a brief moment, looking down at the muddy footprints that he was leaving behind in his shuffling.
It.. Felt pretty awful, in that moment. But he didn’t make a move to remove his jacket just yet, he just found his eyes drifting back to Angel.
“I forgot to take my jacket off.” Lee responded. Angel’s eyebrow arched up and they moved, the water sloshing around them as they rested their crossed arms on the edge of the tub. They laid their head down, tilting it to the side in that way that made Lee’s heart pick up again. Yet, in all his awkwardness, they still smiled at him. Soft, with just enough curve to not be mistaken as something else.
“... Do you want to take it off?”
Lee’s eyes met Angel’s in that moment and he nodded his head, “.. Yes. I should do that. Let me just…” Lee turned back to the bedroom and very quickly walked out, leaving Angel giggling in the bath. Despite the burning in his face, Lee found a smile cracking its way onto his lips. Breaking the stoic expression that seemed stuck to him like glue.
He tuned out of everything else around him and focused on shucking out of his jacket. It was Friday, no need to worry about putting it back on until Monday. So, he dropped it in the laundry hamper. Next to go was the gray polo, which admittedly was only soaked around the collar but it was still clinging to his skin in a way that was most unpleasant.
Lee loosened his belt so he could pull the shirt hem from the waistband of his slacks. The shirt was quickly deposited in the hamper as well. Just another thing to be washed. He paused in that moment, thinking back to what day it was.
“What a sight to behold.” Lee turned his head to see Angel walking out of the bathroom. The towel was wrapped tightly around their body, but Lee could almost imagine what lay beneath.
“Are you talking about yourself?” He questioned, turning to face Angel more directly. Their lithe hands grabbed onto the ends of his belt, tugging him closer to their body. Lee felt his cheeks flare up once again but he kept his hands at his sides. Angel pushed themselves up on their tiptoes, brushing their nose against his own.
Lee caved in that moment, pushing forward to slot their lips together. Kissing was not an unusual task for the both of them. In fact, most days after work, Lee would greet his Angel with a kiss. But the routine had been shaken, things felt different. And now, he didn’t know what to do with his hands.
“I’m.. Can I..” Lee started to ask, his words muffled by Angel’s taste. Instead of a verbal response, which he would have preferred, his hands were tugged from his sides. His fists loosened as his hands settled on the soft fabric that wrapped around their hips. They pressed against him further, hands trailing up his arms with the express purpose of shooting goosebumps along his skin.
As Angel pushed further into him, he could feel the shift in energy. The towel came loose and fell, only caught by Lee’s hands in that moment. He scrambled, pulling away from Angel’s lips in order to tug the towel up their body and cover as much as he could. His eyes shot upwards, but he took inventory of what he was feeling.
Angel always looked so soft and smooth, it was no different now than how he imagined it. But he couldn’t not yet. Not before he.. Said it.
“Loosen up, Lee, you worry too much.” Angel laughed as they stepped away from Lee. They fixed the towel themselves, but Lee kept his gaze turned up towards the ceiling anyways.
“I should leave you to get dressed. I will clean up the mess downstairs.” He said quickly. Angel let out a small sigh, a smile coming to their lips. But Lee didn’t stop for a proper response yet again before he left the room. Things didn’t feel real. Maybe they weren’t real. Lee brought his thumb up to his mouth, starting to bite at the skin.
As he descended the stairs, he realized only at the bottom that he had neglected to complete another task he had set about to do. He paused there for a moment, staring up the staircase before he turned to walk into the small art cove under the stairs that had been converted for Angel.
He tucked the curtain back just enough to see the mess that was barely contained to the small desk. Papers and notebooks were tossed around. He paused, seeing a very familiar sketch of shrimp tacked up on the wall above an older computer monitor. Lee bent down to start picking up the strewn about pens and pencils.
Looking at the scene now, it seemed far less malicious than his brain originally projected. More of a cat tumbling over the cup rather than a horrific accident. He let out a sigh as he pulled everything together and set the cup on the desk. As he did that, the familiar sound of light footsteps crept above his head. He knew it was Angel, what a wonder.
As he stepped out of the cove, he turned to see Angel descending the stairs in a pair of shorts and..
And the stripe shirt from middle school.
He felt paused, truly had to wonder if they remembered what day it was. They hadn’t… Lee hadn’t seen them wear that shirt since everything happened. A cruel reminder of how Lee’s actions, as accepted as they were, were troublesome.
“Angel.”
Angel looked up at him and grinned, “Lee,” they responded easily.
So easily.
Lee’s eyes were locked onto the shirt, staring at the sleeves. Slowly, he took a step forward. But he maintained a distance between them anyways. His eyes flickered up to Angel’s face, his shoulders relaxing when he saw that playful smile gracing their lips.
“Lee, what’s got you so wound up today?” Angel teased as they brushed past him, their shoulder striking the soft meat of his arm as they made their way into the dimly lit kitchen. On the stove, there was a crockpot on the stove. Angel lifted the lid to stir the contents and Lee closed his eyes as he let the smell wash over him.
He crossed the distance to stand behind Angel, wrapping his arms around their waist and pulling their body back against his. His face pressed into the top of their hair. This was nice, coming home from work and being able to enjoy his partner. That’s what they were, after all, partners.
In crime, in heart, in.. Other things.
And yet, it was still eating at him. He couldn’t let it keep sliding past. His arms tightened around Angel and he shifted to press his face into the back of their neck. It was an uncomfortable bend for him, but it felt safer than seeing their face directly.
“... Are you okay? To be specific, are you okay with what today is?” Lee asked quietly, letting his fingers curl into the fabric of Angel’s shirt instead of picking at his nails for what felt like an infinite amount that day.
Angel’s body tensed in his arms, the feeling brought his own heart up to a precipice. Teetering on the edge of a cliff. He’s been here before, he has felt this way before. Angel always did that, made a simple yes or no feel like life or death. His lips pressed against the skin in front of him, but that was all he did. To keep his mouth shut, so he didn’t word vomit a mess into Angel’s lap.
“... Today is the day that I found a body in your basement.” Angel stated, it was fact afterall. His eyes stared forward, watching the way Angel gripped the spoon. But they didn’t stir, no, they kept it still. The sentence hung in the air, and Lee could feel the sweat start to accumulate in his hairline. He wanted to ask a follow up, wanted clarification, but just as Angel always does, they beat him to the punch.
“I want to put it behind me, Lee. I don’t want to have that day haunt me, I don’t want to have what we did haunt me.” Angel pulled the spoon out of the crockpot and laid it down on the small platter next to it. They leaned their weight back into Lee’s arms, their hands moving to rub his forearms. They pause briefly as their fingers run over the old scars from his worse picking habits. “... That’s why I put the shirt back on.”
Lee pulled away just enough to guide Angel into turning around. They looked up at him with a fierceness that always sent a shiver down his spine. But he stared right back, unwavering.
“I’m tired of letting it rule over us. It’s been a year, nothing came of it. I want it to stop looming and I just want.. You.” Angel’s hands moved up to Lee’s face, cold fingers pressing into his burning cheeks. Lee’s eyes widened just a fraction. Their words still knock the wind out of him every time, every way.
Lee’s eyes flickered down to their lips and his hands found their waist just as quickly. He let his thumbs rub circles along the fabric before he opened his mouth.
“Angel, I-”
“No, I know, Lee. I know that I’m allowed to feel weird about what happened and I..” Angel’s words trail off in Lee’s mind. He knows he should be paying attention. He’s watching the way their lips move, he’s taking in the cold, gentleness of their hands. He’s soothed by the sacred melody as it leaves their lips.
Suddenly, it seemed like the most obvious thing to say in that moment.
“I love you.”
The words slipped off of his tongue like he said them everyday. He meant it with his whole heart, every fiber of his body sang them over and over and over again. Angel, however, had a different reaction. Their eyes shot wide and their pale face turned a vibrant red. Lee’s feelings were never secret, between the shrine and the constant doting. His heart was on his sleeve and Angel always knew how to read it. Now, he was throwing a curveball.
“You what?” They questioned, their eyes searching over Lee’s. It was humor, bringing the barest hint of a smile to Lee’s lips.
“I.. I have been wanting to admit it for a while. You do not have to reciprocate either. I.. I do not want you to feel obligated just because I said it. I love you, Angel. Like no one ever before and no one will ever follow. I have said before that you make the future feel like a reality.. I look to you like no other, like a sunflower following the light. I love you.” Lee rambled, but his tone stayed level. With each word that left his mouth, he admittedly could feel the confidence in him waning.
“Say it again.” Angel ordered, a smile of their own cracking at the corner of their lips.
“I love you.”
“Again!”
“I love you.”
“Again, Lee!”
“Angel!” Lee’s hands slid up from Angel’s waist. One cemented itself on their lower back and the other up between their shoulder blades. Lee tugged them closer, tapping their foreheads together as he lowered his voice, “Angel, I love you.”
Angel broke into a grin before they suddenly pulled Lee forward for their fourth kiss of the day. Lee kept track, they kissed twice that morning. This one, much like the one they had shared upstairs, was different. It was charged with an energy that Lee tried to keep for the privacy of the shower.
Yet, he found himself drawn into it. He followed Angel’s lead as they licked into his mouth. Immediately, this was bridged into unmarked territory for him. But Angel persisted with such confidence that he found himself unable to pull away. He pressed their smaller body into the counter, using his hand to block the uncomfortable digging of the corner.
Their fingers drifted up to card through his hair as they seemed to take inventory of the teeth in his mouth. Slender fingers closed into a fist in his brown locks and pulled his head back. It wasn’t harsh, but the tug along his scalp pulled a whine from his throat.
He missed them already, his lips already buzzing with the need to be preoccupied again. His mind drifted back to one of their past evenings, where blowing raspberries against sensitive skin had quickly turned into a moan that fueled many personal sessions for weeks. Out of his depths, Lee brought himself down to press his lips to their neck.
He never watched pornography, the shame alone would be bound to kill him somehow, but he took into account what he heard as he pressed open mouthed kisses along the strip of muscle known as the mastoid. Angel’s breath hitched, tugging Lee closer to their body.
Animal. That’s what Lee felt like at that moment. Like an animal. His teeth grazed the unmarked skin of his lover and a shiver blasted down his spine when he heard the soft whine that exhaled from Angel.
Without much warning, the arms around his neck increased in grip as Angel hauled their frame up onto Lee’s. His hand slipped down from their lower back to catch their rear end. His face burned with the realization of what he was doing. Legs wrapped around his waist before he could think of letting them down carefully.
“What else do you love?” Angel asked, gently pushing Lee’s head back down into the juncture between their neck and shoulder. The man hummed lightly in response, returning to his work of pressing his love into Angel’s skin.
“Fire Shrimp.. Puff is up there..” Lee mumbled, muffled by their body. Angel shook their head, scoffing out a laugh in response.
“So, you don’t love kissing my lips?” Angel asked, a teasing lilt to their voice. Lee blinked his eyes open, pulling back just enough to look into their wide smirk and half lidded eyes.
“What? Of course, I-” Lee tried to answer.
“And you don’t love kissing my body?” Angel questioned, tilting their head to the side. As they did so, their hair shifted out of the way to show off the newly forming red oval Lee had left behind. He swallowed the lump in his throat.
“I am afraid I do not have enough experience to answer definitively,” Lee responded, tearing his eyes away from the mark.
“Would you like to correct that?”
Lee felt like his eyes were bugging out of his head but he nodded, neck stiff. Angel grinned, leaning forward to press a deceptively sweet kiss to his own cheek. Lee’s eyes were locked onto their lips.
How could someone like him come to be graced by such a being?
“Then… Why don’t we go up to the bedroom?” Angel asked, nodding their head in that direction. For a man who seemed to hesitate on taking those steps, challenging the boundaries was almost unthinkable… He didn’t give pause as his feet carried them both up the stairs and into the bedroom.
Angel let out a laugh as Lee lowered them down onto the bed but he refused to let go. His knee pressed into the edge of the bed as he bent down over them.
“What… What do you want me to do?” Lee responded, his eyebrows scrunching up as he tried to read Angel’s expression. They laid back on the bed, their hair sprawled out along the comforter. Lee’s eyes widened slightly as he looked down at Angel, their lips parting as they started to laugh. Lee’s cheeks burned before he leaned down to press a quick kiss to their lips.
“Angel, I am serious..” Lee muttered. Angel’s hand came up to swipe at their own eyes before they settled a hand on Lee’s cheek. They let their thumb brush over his skin.
“You.. You really don’t know what to do here, huh?” Angel asked. They nodded their head again when Lee’s expression flattened more. “Okay, okay.. Just…”
Angel moved slowly as their hands came down to grab the hem of their shirt. They pulled it up slowly, revealing inch by inch of pale, smooth skin. Lee’s eyes trailed along their stomach but then quickly averted his gaze as soon as their chest was exposed.
“Lee, you have to look,” Angel taunted. His eyes found themselves focused instead on the headboard and the string hung across the two posts that had polaroids clipped to it. The one he settled on was one Angel had taken when he was asleep, their cheek pressed into his chest and a huge grin gracing their lips.
Angel scoffed below him, their hand traveling down in order to grab onto his wrist and tug it around to their chest. Lee tensed up as the small mound of flesh that was Angel’s breast filled his palm.
It was in that exact moment, Lee realized just how tight his pants had become. Blood rushed south as his hand carefully squeezed. He let the flesh mold him, bending him to its will as he rubbed his thumb into it. He slowly turned his gaze downward and felt a buzz run through his body.
Their breasts were small, but they made his mouth water as he took in the flawless nature. Perky and topped with light, dusty peaks.
“I know they aren’t much..” Angel trailed off, their head turning to the side and a flush of their own coating their cheeks. “I’m sorry if-”
“No.”
Lee’s voice pushed out of him, racing to keep those negative thoughts from slipping out of their mouth again. He dropped down to have his elbows bracketing Angel’s body, his warm breath bounced off their skin and back at him. His eyes flickered up to meet the light blue eyes that welcomed him like a cool blanket on a hot day.
“They’re perfect, Angel. You’re perfect.” He tilted his head downwards to press a kiss right on the center of their sternum. His eyes started to drift shut, but he kept them open just enough. There wasn’t a moment of this that he wanted to miss. His thumb brushed over the hardened bud.
His free hand found its place running up and down their side. Angel’s breath hitched above him, he felt it in the way their ribs expanded for just the briefest moment. Lee began his pilgrimage along their chest, leaving no spot untouched. He traveled up to their collar bones, teeth just barely grazing before he descended south.
What started as innocent kisses turned into more, listening to each gasp and sigh that reached his ears. The first bite he gave resulted in a fist latching onto his hair. They pulled, but they didn’t pull him away. He left his mark, writing down his love with each hickey that he placed. His hand, the one not being held in place by Angel’s own, slid down to the plain of their body until his fingers paused along their waistband.
“May I remove your shorts?” Lee asked, focusing his attention on the elastic that scrunched inside the fabric. The fist in his hair loosened for a moment, nails scratching along his scalp.
“Do you know what to do once you do?” Angel asked, lightly knocking their thigh against the side of his head. Lee tilted his head towards them, laying a kiss right along where the thumping of the femoral artery ran.
“Not at all.” Lee answered, “But… I want to try. I want to give you this.”
“Lee..” Angel breathed out. Angel lightly nudged him back with their foot. Lee’s hands retracted from their body, fidgeting against his chest as he watched. Angel’s thumbs hooked into their shorts and pushed them down. There was nothing beneath the cotton. Lee’s eyes followed the movement, halting at the apex of Angel’s thighs.
His heart stopped in that moment, it had to have. There was no other way to explain how he was feeling. His face was burning, his head felt light. He wasn’t a good man, far from it, and yet somehow he had arrived in paradise.
“Come on, Lee, come closer..” Angel coaxed, pushing their legs further apart to make the invitation as clear as they possibly could, “You may touch me,”
Lee was frozen in place, but Angel’s hand caught his attention as they patted the dark patch of hair that curled around their mons pubis. A silent order to move and Lee dropped to obey. Angel’s natural musk filled his mind. Through the haze, he remembered his permissions and laid his hands on Angel’s hips.
His thumbs began to rub circles along where their thighs met their rear. As he pulled the skin, their wetness peeked through their pubic hair.
“Okay, you’re going to want to use your tongue. You know where the clit is, right?” Angel asked. Lee tore his eyes from the holy grail to give them a somewhat flat look.
“I am a medical professional.”
“That means nothing.”
“I… Know where the clitoris is, Angel..” Purposefully, his left hand pushed upwards and he pressed his thumb up against the slick target. A sharp gasp entered Angel’s lungs and Lee froze up as he realized just what he had done. He was touching them. In a place that was so very intimate that he had ever in a million years thought he would manage.
With a careful brush of his thumb, he watched as Angel’s leg jerked upwards in response. Seeing such a response only fueled his need to see more. He began by rubbing circles around their clit, watching how each stroke left them. His knowledge of anatomy was extensive, spending hours upon hours staring at medical diagrams and committing them to memory. Admittedly, the female anatomy had always been the hardest to study. His curiosity clashed harshly with his innate modesty, there was no easy way to combat this. Yet he studied it anyway, and he knew everything. And yet, he’s floored by just how sensitive his Angel was under his hand.
Memory struck Lee once again as he recalled being told to use his tongue. Slightly metallic, a hint of something sweet, the initial lick had Lee processing this moment. He didn’t know what he had expected, sugar and spice? No. However, this far exceeded anything he had ever known.
Lee dove back in, keeping a steady pace on their clit with his thumb while his other thumb pulled gently at the skin to expose his lover just a hair more. Angel moaned loudly above his head. His eyes tracked the way their hands seemed to struggle to find a task to do for the briefest of moments.
Then, both hands grabbed onto his hair yet again and tugged him closer. He let out a muffled sound as he devoted his time to them, his body. Breathing was not at the forefront of his mind in that moment, he would gladly drown as he was baptised in their essence. Their thighs closed around his head, holding him in place as they raised their hips to meet him.
Their heart was racing, he could hear it thumping inside their veins. This was all consuming, everything he could ever want and more. When he smelled their jacket, when he smelled their clothes. Those shameful nights when he found himself locked in the bath with a pair of their underwear and a fist around himself.
He would not let it go to waste.
“Lee- Lee, oh god.. Don’t stop, got it? Don’t stop, Lee,” Angel ordered, tugging his hair once more. Lee complied as their body was strung tight and they came against his lips- and he carried on after too. As their body grew sensitive, as they continued to rock against him.
“Come here, Lee, come.. Come here..” Their thighs loosened their hold and he pulled back to admire his work. Still, he complied with their words and climbed up the bed to meet them face to face.
“Kiss me?” They asked, their hands moving to caress his cheeks.
“Let me wipe my face,” Lee responded, finding his voice rougher than he had expected it to be when it came out. He reached for Angel’s shirt, but he was pulled down instead.
His heart sprang out of his chest as Angel’s tongue pushed past his lips once again, but Lee wasn’t going to be an idle participant this time. His fingers carded through their hair as they tasted each other. Did Angel enjoy their own taste? They should, they really should.
He barely noticed when one of Angel’s hands disappeared, coming down to rest on his belt before flicking it open with an ease.
Lee let it happen, he focused on what was in front of him. Angel could have whatever they wanted.
Cold air brushed along his exposed thighs as Angel pulled his pants down, and then they parted so Angel could get a proper look at him.
“Wow.. I get you really worked up, don’t I?” Angel teased, their eyes trailing over his flushed skin. His head angled downward to see exactly what they meant. Red spread down from his face into his chest, he was sweating quite a bit. How could one not be? But what truly drew attention was the straining bulge in his gray briefs that had a slowly growing wet spot.
“Can I see?”
Lee looked back to their face. They had such a hopeful expression, their eyes lit up with a fiery excitement that made it hard to say no to them. Stiffly, he nodded his head.
“Of course,” He responded softly. Angel’s grin grew wider as they let their hands run along his hips for the briefest moment, digging into his flush just a bit before they pulled his briefs down as well. With some awkward maneuvering, Lee tossed both his pants and his underwear off to the floor.
“Uncut? I thought you were a medical professional?” Angel questioned, their eyes flickering up from his cock to watch his expression.
“Do you think I have to be?” Lee questioned as he glanced down at himself.
“No, but like, isn’t it medically better to.. You know..” They ran their hands up along his hips and along his stomach. Lee let out a shuddering breath before shaking his head.
“It is not. There is no medical advantage to circumcision… In fact, you actually lose-” Lee’s breath hitched as a cold hand wrapped around his length. Slowly, they began to stroke, a teasing grin on their face.
“You lose what? Go on, keep talking,” Angel taunted lightly.
Lee felt his body grow weak and he leaned forward, pressing his face into Angel’s shoulder as he groaned softly. Angel giggled in his ear, pressing a kiss to the soft skin right below it.
“You.. Nngh.. You lose sensitivity in your penis when you remove the foresk- ah..” His explanation fell away as Angel’s thumb brushed over the head and spread around the precum along the head. “There’s.. There’s been studies that found that being circumcised actually decreased orgasm intensity..”
Angel nodded along with his explanation, then they pressed another kiss against his skin. They grinned against him, their teeth pressing against him.
“You want to test it out?” Angel questioned, pulling away from Lee to lie back down on the bed.
“I already know what kind of orgasms that I produce..” Lee muttered as he was forced to pull his face from their body and watch them. Angel shook their head, parting their legs for him.
“Not with me… Unless you don’t want to?” In a brief moment of insecurity, Angel’s legs closed a fraction of the way. Lee brought his hands to their knees, squeezing gently to keep them from closing any further.
“Angel, may I penetrate you?”
Silence hung in the air before a burst of giggles sprang from Angel’s lips. His shoulders slumped just a hair but their legs pushed open once again and they nodded their head.
“Please do.. Do we have any condoms?” Angel questioned as they looked towards the nightstand that belonged to Lee. He didn’t have to look, he knew the answer.
“I do not, but I could-”
“That’s fine, we don’t need one.” Angel decided, reaching up to tug Lee closer to them. He shuddered as his length brushed against their thigh and he moved his hands up to their hips to keep himself steady.
“Without contraceptives, there’s a 20%-”
“And there’s an 80% chance it won’t happen. It’s just one time, I trust you.”
I trust you . A heavier weight had never been placed upon his shoulders, but he nodded his head anyways. If that was what they wanted, then it would be.
He moved his left hand into the space between their legs, rubbing his fingers along the lip before slowly pushing them inside the warmth. His other hand lightly gripped their hip as he processed the feeling but he focused his attention on preparing them.
Angel moaned, their head falling back on the pillows as he took his time to make sure they were ready- As much as he could. The last thing he wanted was to hurt them, not when they were placing so much trust into his actions. Never would he become someone else to add to the pile of people who betrayed them. Never.
As he grew confident, he pulled his fingers out. Using the slickness, he gave his own cock a few strokes before shifting to line himself up with their entrance.
“One, two…” Lee pushed forward slowly, his grip tightening as he pushed into that warm, welcoming heat. Angel gasped, their fingers digging into his shoulders as he stretched their body to conform to his size.
“Are you.. Okay?” Lee asked, leaning down to look into their eyes better. Angel nodded their head, but Lee refused to move until they gave him a verbal answer. Angel took the moment, breathing through the feeling before they nodded again.
“I’m okay, I’m.. Fuck, start thrusting, Lee..”
Compelled by their doctrine, Lee began a slow pace as he thrusted shallowly. This was his first, after all. His eyes tried to close but he had to keep them open, there was no way he was going to miss watching this.
Angel’s eyes were half lidded, their cheeks were a beautiful red color as they stared up into his eyes. Their lips were parted to allow each whine to escape. His gaze was locked onto them, his hips gradually sped up as he grew more comfortable with the motion.
The sound of wet slapping started to fill the room as things became familiar. Lee was in absolute awe, his thrusts growing more powerful. They looked to be enjoying themselves, that was the most important part. Still, his mind plugged in the knowledge that he could be doing more.
“You’re… You’re so beautiful, Angel.. You look perfect.. Just like this..” He grunted out between thrusts. Keeping one hand on their hip to keep them in place, his other hand moved between their legs. He moved his hand to rest along their pelvis. Carefully, he pressed his thumb down on their clit as his hips kept pistoning forward.
Angel let out a shout, their body tensing and gripping Lee tightly. His eyes widened at the discovery, but he kept going. His thumb fell into rhythm with his thrusts, building Angel up for the second time.
As his focus remained on Angel, his own needs began to creep up along the back. The coil deep in his stomach was wound up so tightly, curling and curling. His thrusts stuttered as he spilled his release inside them. It was unexpected, he had been so consumed in what was happening that he didn’t realize just how close he had been.
Instead of stopping, he kept going. He let his climax flow through him as he stroked Angel with sharp circles.
“Lee.. Lee, I’m gonna.. Lee..” Angel moaned out, their arms wrapping around his neck to tug him close to their body. Lee’s face pressed into their neck, huffing into their skin and taking in their scent as they clung to his body, squeezing him all over as they rode out their own climax.
Panting in his ear, their nails dug into his skin, they just held each other as everything flowed through them. Lee knew he should move them, get them to the bathroom to clean up. He knew.
But the way Angel clung to him, a silent demand not to move a single inch. He obeyed. His arms moved to wrap around their waist, one hand smoothing up and down the length of their back.
One of Angel’s hands moved to card through the back of Lee’s hair, their fingers lightly scratching his scalp. Lee relaxed, pressing a series of kisses along their neck to their shoulder and back up again.
“I love you too, Lee.. I love you..” Whispered Angel. Lee smiled, tugging them all that much closer to his body until their bodies were pressed skin to skin. His cock, softened, was so sensitive in their body but he refused to pull out just yet.
“I love you, Angel… Let me get us cleaned up, yeah?” Lee asked softly, pulling back just enough to look down at them. Angel nodded, tiredly.
“Yeah.. Then we can go eat, dinner should be done by now..” Angel offered. Lee let out a soft huff of a laugh before he pushed himself up from the bed, pulling Angel along with him. He carried them to the bathroom in his arms, ready to clean them both up so that Angel didn’t have to lift a finger. With his foot, he closed the bathroom door behind them.
