Dandy jolted awake, 2:37 AM. he stared at the figure whom he made out to be Astro sleeping soundly, tears welling in his eyes as he looked back at his hands, a silver ring placed on his left hand. silver was never his color, Astro knew that too, but all he is and always will be is Astros "husband". at least that's what he thought.. Dandy sobbed quietly, holding his head in his hands as he wiped away tears after tears, it felt like they just kept on flowing. His throat felt tight, like he was being choked, or a barbed wire held around his neck. He'd wipe away any access tears, his eyes slightly puffy and red. Dandy slowly got up, being careful not to wake Astro. he'd then walk out of the room and into the kitchen, only to be met with the smug strawberry, sprout. "Heyya there dandy, what brings someone like you to a place like this one this late at night?" sprout had a smug expression, only to soften up and place his water on the counter as he noticed Dandy's red eyes. "hey, hey?! are you alright..? what's got you crying like that..?" sprout ran up to dandy, wiping access tears that fell from his face. "I- sprout its just-" he'd sigh, beginning to sob. "hey its okay! you can talk to me y'know..?" sprout hugged dandy tightly, to which dandy happily accepted and returned the hug. "I-its just some problems going on.. I just need a glass of water and ill be okay, sprout.." dandy sighed, pulling away from the hug and reaching to a cup in the cabinet beside him.
"need some help there..?" sprout chuckled quietly, grabbing the cup for dandy and filling it up with water. "yes.. thank you, sprout." dandy grabbed the cup and chugged it, placing it back down onto the counter and slowly starting to walk back to his room. "na-uh uh! I know whats got you crying like that, dandy. you obviously need some time away from him." sprout grabbed dandy's hand and paced towards his room. Dandy didn't have time to react or even say anything as he was gently thrown onto sprouts bed. Sprout closed the door behind him, grabbing dandy and lying down, hugging him tightly. dandy silently weeped in sprouts arms, hugging him back equally as tight whilst sprout comforted him. Dandy knew that he and sprout could never be anything more than just friends, especially with his current relationship status. but he'd just drift to sleep, still sobbing quietly as the tiredness consumed him, leaving hm alone with the thought that he will be nothing more than a 'husband' to astro, and nothing more. but sprout longed for the feeling of dandy being beside him every night, he too knew that dandy and him would be considered just friends.
