Alan received the letter first thing in the morning and had the new office set up by lunch. His colleagues were already planning a celebratory dinner and he suggested his favourite steak restaurant.
Gaipa was busy at the stall all morning but had replied with gushing congratulations to Alan's message. They had known he was up for a promotion for a few weeks now but the confirmation was satisfying. Alan informed Gaipa about the dinner and sat down at his new desk. The hovering colleagues left but Alan didn't feel like working. Lunch break was so close and he could always pick up after. He texted Gaipa again hoping the rush at the stall was low enough for them to grab a quick lunch together. Gaipa simply sent back "wait" and Alan was happy to.
It has been a year since he had gathered enough courage to ask Gaipa out and they just fit into each other's lives so easily. It was their anniversary soon. Alan was a little nervous. He had planned to ask Gaipa to move in with him. Alan's apartment was smaller than Gaipa's house but both of those places were filled with memories of someone else. For Alan it was Wen and the pain of losing his first love while for Gaipa it was his mother and the pain of losing his greatest supporter. They both needed a new start, a home they could build together and Alan could afford it now. He hoped Gaipa would agree. He wanted to ask Gaipa earlier but he was cautious. Gaipa had been a breath of air when he felt like he was drowning but Alan was worried he only liked Gaipa to get over Wen. After a year, Alan knew that wasn't true. Alan had let go of Wen, he did not pretend that the love he had for Wen was not real. It was very real but it was gone now. And the love he held for Gaipa had its own place in his heart and soul. Alan did not want to compare them. Right now, his life was Gaipa and he would do everything for him.
There was a soft knock on his door and Alan straightened his tie before answering.
"Come in."
Gaipa rushed in with the biggest smile on his face and it took Alan's breath away. He caught Gaipa in his arms and kissed him until they could not breathe anymore.
"Congratulations, baby." Gaipa kissed Alan's cheek.
"Thanks, love."
Gaipa unentangled from Alan but kept a hand in his. He walked around inspecting the new office. The hardwood floors, the fake plants, the soft sofa, and sat down with his legs dangling on the new desk.
"Nice office, Mr. Bigshot. Very hot." Alan walked over to Gaipa and pushed his legs apart to stand between them.
"Wanna try it out?" Alan asked rapping his knuckles on the new desk.
"On the first day of office?" Gaipa giggled.
"You wanna wait for a week? Am I on probation?"
"No but do you think I'm qualified for a bigshot like you?"
Alan slipped his hand under Gaipa's pants. "I bet you'll do so well in an interview."
"How about I show you how well my mouth can work in interviews? " Alan's knees buckled at Gaipa's voice. Even after so long, he could not get over the change that comes over Gaipa in the bedroom. It sent heat pooling to his groin.
Gaipa manhandled Alan back into his chair. Alan did not protest. He had no resistance in him when Gaipa used that voice. Gaipa slipped under his desk and unzipped Alan's pants. Alan adjusted them so they would not be visible from the door which was unlocked he noticed. It sent a thrill down his spine. One advantage of the promotion was that he got to monitor others so there were no cameras in his office. Gaipa didn't even know that and had not cared at all. Alan loved that wild side of him.
Gaipa kissed his thighs and cupped his balls before licking his shaft. It was a slow torturous lick that made Alan groan and grab Gaipa's hair.
There was a knock on the door and Gaipa froze. The damn door opened without Alan saying anything and Jim walked in. Of all the damn people on the planet, of course the chicken man was the one to cockblock him again. Wen walked in after and Alan did not flinch. He really didn't care with Gaipa's tongue still on him.
"Jim." Alan said, way too loud making them all jump. "Wen. What a surprise! What can I do for you? I have a meeting very soon so if you can tell me soon."
"Uhh we are here on a personal matter..." Jim began.
"Is this a new office?" Wen interrupted.
"Yup. Got a promotion. Thank you for the congratulations. What can I do for you?" Gaipa licked him a little like a cat lapping at milk and Alan tightened his hand in his hair.
"Congratulations." Jim and Wen beamed at him. Alan smiled back as humanly as he could while Gaipa nibbled on his balls.
"Well we have some good news to share too. We are getting married." Wen searched Alan's face brows knit in worry.
"That's wonderful. Congratulations to you too. I will absolutely be there. So nice to see you again." Alan tried to end the conversation.
"I will let Gaipa know myself if you don't mind. I want him to hear this from me." Jim said and Alan felt Gaipa melt a little. Damn dude was always considerate. He couldn't bring himself to be angry though not when he was trying to be nice to Gaipa.
"Of course. We can all meet for dinner tonight. My colleagues are throwing me a party. Join us."
" Sounds good. I'll let Gaipa know then. " Jim handed Alan his invitation. Wen hadn't spoken much but was watching Alan with a curious expression.
" If that's all... "
" See you tonight then, Alan. Enjoy the new office. " Wen winked and dragged Jim out without another word.
Alan sighed and leaned back. Alan and Gaipa both began laughing.
" Oh that was stupid. " Gaipa said but didn't move from his place.
" Are you okay? " Alan asked his hands running through Gaipa's hair.
" About uncle Jim? Yeah. I really am. I don't think I've thought about him that way in a long time. Not since... " Gaipa blushed.
" Not since? " Alan teased.
" Not since you came into my life. " Gaipa said with so much sincerity that it made Alan's chest hurt.
"Let's get a house together." He blurted out.
Gaipa looked surprised then smiled so wide and nodded.
"Yeah. A new house. That's just ours. And also a cat I think."
Alan could not bear the love that threatened to burst through his chest. He could even love Jim at that moment.
Gaipa smiled again and went back to licking Alan's cock.
"Oh... Gaipa..." Alan didn't get to say much else. Gaipa was good. He knew exactly what Alan liked and how he liked it. His mouth was on Alan, sucking, nibbling, licking until Alan was shoving his tie in his mouth to not make too much noise.
Gaipa's hair was all messed up from Alan's hands. He pulled hard as he came in Gaipa's mouth. Gaipa swallowed it all happily. It was one of Alan's favourite things about Gaipa. He swallowed.
"Congratulations, baby. Wanna go for lunch?" Gaipa asked getting back to his feet.
"I love you." Was the only answer Alan could give.
