It's the winter of 2025, and First is going on vacation with his family for a week. Khaotung knows, of course, that they need to maintain a level of fan service to promote their currently airing show, The Heart Killers. He knows that with First out of the country, it has to be done over social media, his least favorite format of pretending to be in love. Or rather, pretending to be pretending to be in love.
But ever since his birthday - only one month before Khaotung's! - First has found an obnoxious delight in insisting that Khaotung call him phi (which could mean nothing!!) and making this *way* more difficult than it needs to be.

“Yes, you did. You said, ‘Why does this Teacher Khao guy sound like a TV host and why is he so pretty?’”
First nearly dropped her. “You… you heard that?!”
Khaotung’s laugh slipped out then, warm and musical, and the sound made First want to simultaneously die and replay it forever.
“I think that’s the nicest insult I’ve ever gotten,” Khaotung teased gently. “Thank you, May. And thank you… daddy.” He tilted his head at First, eyes sparkling with amusement.
