Summary:

Once upon a time, a LEGEND was whispered among shadows.
It was a LEGEND of HOPE.
It was a LEGEND of DREAMS.
It was a LEGEND of LIGHT.
It was a LEGEND of DARK.
This is the legend of DELTA RUNE
For millenia, LIGHT and DARK have lived in balance,
Bringing peace to the WORLD.
But if this harmony were to shatter...
a terrible calamity would occur.
The sky will run black with terror
And the land will crack with fear.
Then, her heart pounding...
The EARTH will draw her final breath.
Only then, shining with hope...
Four HEROES appear at WORLDS' edge.
A HUMAN,
A MONSTER,
A UNKNOWN LIGHTNER
And a PRINCE FROM THE DARK.
Only they can seal the fountains
And banish the ANGEL'S HEAVEN.
Only then will balance be restored,
And the WORLD saved from destruction.
Today, the FOUNTAIN OF DARKNESS-
The geyser that gives this land form-
Stands tall at the center of the kingdom.
But recently, another fountain has appeared on the horizon...
And with it, the balance of LIGHT and DARK begins to shift...

Chapter 1

PROLOGUE

You look up to see Professor Alphys tapping your shoulder, a nervous expression on her face as she glances between you, Susie, and Kris for a extended amount of time before breathing in and speaking. Although the tremor in her voice is still recognizable. 

 

" sorry to disturb your daydreaming.. But the amount of students currently are unequal, would you mind if you were paired up with Susie and Kris..? "

 

You look at the two aforementioned individuals. Susie, the class bully and a violet reptile tormentor. And Kris, the weird kid human. You look around and see the others already chatting with their partners about the project, so you shake you head. 

 

" GREAT! although I.. Don't have chalk.. So could you 3 get it from the supply closet..? "

 

" fuck it, let's go. Kris and uhh.. Whatever your name is again. "

 

You and Kris ignore Susie' comment and go with her to the supply closet to grab some Chalk for Professor Alphys, Susie stands beside the door, leaned against the door frame. While Kris is just standing there looking at you. 

 

" want US to come with you? Alright alright, I know you don't like being alone so fine. "

 

Susie says to you, noticing your expression towards the both of them. Before you all go inside the dark supply closet, ignoring the fact it's so fucking dark inside. After awhile of blindly walking in darkness the doors wield shut, With Susie being the first to act. 

 

" WHAT THE HELL?! LET US OUT! wait.. "

 

you three start to notice the floor is shaking, Susie is panicking while You are [Y/E] and Kris is... Kris. 

 

" Oh shit. "

 

Kris calmly says before you all 3 fall down in a Undertale style manner, starting the chapter of.. 

 

 

DELTATHREE

 

Chapter 2: The Heroes of the whispered legend

its so dark, you can't move.. Or speak- well no shit your mute.. Just just try- OH! You grabbed something- now let's..

** SLASH!!! **

 

* You hop out of a web like cocoon, your weapon seemingly was the one that cut it clean in between the middle with the top half slowly fading into particles near the air.. It smells very dusty, like Monster Dust spread over flowers. You look around making sure your safe, with the surroundings being a dark violet with other web cocoons, with 3 eyes in a wall infornt of you.. Then you spot something glowing it in the ground, it was a glowing shard.... You stored it in your pockets before taking note your appearance had changed, although you still looked like yourself and didn't feel off. Then you look at your weapon, it was a [Y/W] and you felt you fit it. You stored it on your back and started to travel, noticing that the web cocoons were also slashes open except for yours. 

 

* so you traveled, traveled... And traveled! Before you reach a point with a glowing white star, you quickly ignore it and walk past before you see Spade shaped marks on the ground. Right as a white glowing Spade went past your face, Then you heard laughing similar to Santa Claus. So you quickly Ran, seeing two familiar individuals ahead. Although you had small stamina, you had high speed so you quickly rush past them. You make a swift turn, almost falling as you go down a steep hill. More ace of spades appearing as it targets you, you took some hits but you were relatively fine. 

 

" WAIT- STOP! "

 

* Before you could react your body was crushed by KRIS and SUSIE, but they looked different. You could barely get your ass up since there was a Human and a Monster on your back but pushed them off yourself and got up, them both also seeming to be damaged but less damaged due to the fact they weren't the ones crushed by themselves. After a while of orientating yourselves you guys got up and looked around. SUSIE didn't seem that different, her colors were brighter with a thief like aesthetic to her. While KRIS was now a blueberry knight. KRIS then signaled you and SUSIE to follow behind them, as you positioned yourself in the middle SUSIE pushed you away and scoffed as she forced you in the back. Which you begrudgingly took, you guys traveled before reaching a town with blue flames and a medieval aesthetic to it. 

 

" you think there's someone in the large castle ahead? "

 

* SUSIE asked you, you just shrugged and yawned as KRIS went ahead and entered. Interacting with the glowing white star, before you all entered the building. You guys then saw a cloaked being at the front of a large door, back faced towards you three before they turn around and seemed shocked at you, KRIS, and SUSIE's arrival. Then They spoke. 

 

" ah! Hello heroes! "

 

* The Cloaked being said, staring at you guys before SUSIE pointed at it wit a shaking hand and was about to say something before the Cloaked Being cut her off with a calm voice. 

 

" don't fear, for am not your enemy. I am the prince of this kingdom. You 3 are the heroes of the great prophecy, which to hear it? "

 

* SUSIE and KRIS before shook their head slowly, looking away nervously as the Cloaked Being sighed disappointed before looking at you. So you just shrugged and nodded, SUSIE and KRIS quickly look towards you direction and eyed you. But you didnt mind, you just wanted to know what the fuck was going on. So The Cloaked Being took a breath, and started to tell the Prophecy.

" did you three get that? "

 

* The Cloaked Being asked, You were half asleep but was woken up by their question so you simply nodded nervously, hoping they didn't notice you fell half asleep at the very start of the prophecy. While KRIS just acted like they were shocked by simply mumbling a "wow..." While SUSIE stayed silent, before scoffing and waving the prince off. 

 

" I don't care, "

 

Susie dismissed coldly, her voice flat and serious as she stared down at the prince with a intensive tension in between them both. But despite your better judgement you reluctantly get in between them both and push them away from each other, since you didn't want a fight to go on after 10 minutes of entering a new world called 'the dark world's. Susie then scoffed before a voice called out. 

 

" HOHOHO!!! "

 

NOT THEM! A toothpaste boy on a bicycle then rammed towards the cloaked prince, pushing him away into a wall. Causing sudden confusion and worry among the group as the child laughed, although it wasn't threatening and just sounded like Santa Claus opposed to Susie's ACTUALLY threatening laugh.

"  WHO ARE YOU?! "

 

" the BAD GUY! "

And so a battle was intiated! Kris immediately acted and complimented something about the kids clothes. Which was, odd.. You must admit, but you decided to defend, you didn't want to take risks. While Susie attacked the kid, but the kid just dodged like nothing happened with a chuckle, after some back and forth of 'Lancer's' attack going up, down, sideways, due to Kris's acts, you getting TP up by defending even though you had the most health, and Susie wasting your TP to go and use attacks on Lancer. The battle was over. 

 

" Aw geez! My Bicycles Battery is running low, YOU MAY HAVE WON THIS TIME! BUT NEXT TIME I WON'T BE SO FRIENDLY, HOHOHOHOHOHO!! "

 

As He fled, you thought about how satisfying his laugh sounds for some reason. The prince quickly came back and finally removed the cloak, revealing a fluffy black goat monster like face, with a green dress thing and a green hat, with a pink scarf and some glasses. As The prince spoke, Once 'Ralsei' he called himself.. Told You guys where the exit was, but Susie quickly left. 

 

" Susie!.. sigh thank you both for staying down, Kris and Y/N..while Susie is leaving, do you want to learn how to fight? "

 

"  sure "

 

You shake your head with Y/E etched on your face.

Chapter 3: Light came from above, greeted them with open arms.

* So after Kris went and 'trained' with Ralsei whilst you were sleeping nearby on a bench since, be honest. Who would want to watch a boring ol' training session for a whole 2 minutes? You, Kris, and Ralsei went to the gates. Most of the journey was simple, travelling through indigo blades of shrubbery whilst occasionally encountering signs that were signed by the Lancer kid, surprised the kid knew how to write. 

 

" MY CAKE!! "

 

* You 3 walked in on a chef mourning over his currently, destroyed piece of cake. Kris remained impassive and apathetic whilst eyeing the cake, you walked up to the guy and patted his back whilst he sobbed about his ruined cake, whilst Ralsei asked what was wrong

 

" Woah! Calm down, what happened here? "

 

" A.. A- TERRIFYING BEAST! I WALKED IN ON IT DEVOURING MY CAKE! I THEN SPRAYED IT WITH A BOTTLE THEN IT HISSED AND RAN AWAY!! "

 

* Ralsei perked up on the mention of the 'terrifying beast', immediately dropping the therapist act and going back to Kris. Ignoring the chef he just left behind, while you were conflicted whether to leave or not, you gave the guy 10g then left. Calling it a day.

* once you three arrived at the gates, Susie was there pounding at the door Frustratedly. Anger palpable in the cold air of the kingdom, Susie then turns around and scrowls at the sight of the trio. Crossing her arms and looking down at you all with a condescending gaze etched onto her reptilian features, yellow eyes cutting through your very soul. Sending a mix of fear and panic through your veins before she finally spoke

 

" great.. The good for nothing prince, The FREAK, and The Coward. What kinda luck do I got myself in today? "

 

* Sarcasm was easily palpable in her tone, her words are sharp as glass as she eyes all of you accordingly to her current depiction of you all. Ralsei looks away nervously whilst chuckling before holding out a hand, 

 

" Susie.. Please join us! We need everyone to help. "

 

*  Susie eyed you all before scoffing, eyes filled with trepidation and irritation before exhaling and going between you and Kris. Pushing you aside, inflicting 1 damage to you but Ralsei quickly healed you with his magic. Kris' fists adjusted uncomfortably feeling Susie's breath on their hair, while Susie smirked and crossed her arms. 

 

" lead the way, Kris. "
