Summary:

***PODFIC***
Percy Jackson knew that he wasn't always the most aware of his surroundings but he's almost positive that he didn't originally fall asleep on this beach. Nor does he recognize the pretty boy standing over him wrapped in his finest bedsheet. Once the boy introduces himself, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that this Telemachus, prince of Ithaca was THE Telemachus, prince of Ithaca.

Surrounded by blood hungry suitors and stripped of the comfort of his pants, Percy isn't sure how he's going to avoid offending the gods here. He didn't have the greatest track record of that back home. Telemachus seemed happy to have a friend in the palace and the queen looked at him with knowing eyes. What she knew, Percy wasn't sure but she definetly knew something. With Athena at Telemachus' side and Apollo following Percy around, this new land was shaping up to be very different than his own.

Author' Note:

Is it still an author's note if it's a podficer's note? I mean, I guess it the semantics aren't really the point here. So long time no see? So, I'm still alive! That's always good news. I'll be real with you friends, I've fallen victim to the ao3 curse once more. I won't get to into it, but life has been not good and pretty bad in a lot of ways. In other ways it's been nice! But yeah. I went from a blue state to a red state which has been an experience. My grad program while being pretty great is also a lot of work and also includes my TA position which is so, so much grading. So much grading. Mostly the grad program is rough because I've spent the last 2 years seeing people very rarely and now I'm seeing people every day for a long time and it's just so draining. My depression has been awful and my OCD has been out of control. So things like podficing—and even just posting pre-recorded stuff—has just really been hard to do. And then, because life is ceaseless, my grandmother passed away. Also, alongside my move to the entire new state? My apt is up 5 flights of stairs. It's just a lot. But yeah.

Honestly, I probably would have just let myself depression ignore my podfics for a while longer, but I've been receiveing comments on several stories wondering if I'm okay. It means a lot me, genuinely, that anyone cares, you know? I've spent a lot of time in my life wondering if anyone would notice you know if I did just.. well. And it was really weird in a very heartwarming way to see a my podfic-listener community notice I was gone and care that I was?

Anyway, I didn't want to get too deep there, but thank you truly to anyone who left a comment or even just thought about me and wished me the best. I can't promise that these chapters will be posted reguarly because life is rough right now, but I can promise you all that I'm as okay as I can be and I'll do my best to keep updating. If anyone would like to chat wiht me on tumblr my username is the same as my ao3 handle—just mentioning it since I don't wanna worry anyone again! Anyway, that's more than enough from me.
