5AM
Guest couldn’t help it when he was more than a little startled by Noli and C00lkidd’s presence in the survivors cabin, even though they had joined the day prior it was a little unnerving to see two people that were killing you in messed up rounds of cat and mouse. Well judging by how C00lkidd acted he genuinely doesn’t seem to understand that he wasn’t just playing and was actually hurting people, and at Noli and 007n7’s insistence the survivors agreed not to tell C00lkidd about what he had actually been doing.
Guest of course was up early anyway, his body still ran on military time for the most part. He saw something a little unexpected, Noli, 007, and C00lkidd making breakfast together, well C00lkidd was just sitting at the table talking to the two men but it still warmed Guest’s heart to see, it reminded him more or less of seeing Daisy, Matt, and their daughter on early mornings none of them could seem to be able to go back to sleep.
Guest 1337 quietly entered the kitchen just to grab his and Elliot’s water bottles so they could go jogging together, of course he felt curious eyes on him, C00lkidd was staring at him a little confused as to why he’d be awake.
Guest just smiled and waved at him before exiting the kitchen, and meeting Elliot outside to go jog around the forest that surrounded their cabin.
6AM
Once Guest and Elliot finished there was already the sound of everyone talking filling the cabin, the two entered the kitchen and sat down, beginning to eat.
C00lkidd was happily eating away before he stared at Guest 1337 again, and Guest stared back before C00lkidd spoke, “You have a lot of scars..” He said with a blank expression on his face before he continued to talk “Just like my dad!” C00lkidd said cheerfully before going back to eating and 007n7 looked mortified, “Bud, you can’t say stuff like that, okay?” He muttered
“Sorry papa..” C00lkidd said and 007n7 just ruffled his hair, “It’s fine kiddo” He seemed exasperated but then again the man did seem tired almost constantly.
Guest smiled and he looked at C00lkidd, “I got mine from serving in the war, kid” C00lkidd nodded, “I know, Bluudud talks about you a lot.” He said absentmindedly before he got up, “Papa, Dad, can I go play outside?” He asked turning to Seven and Noli, “Yeah just be careful okay, and don’t go too far from the cabin” 007 said and Noli nearly choked, C00lkidd nodded and he ran outside to play.
Everyone had gone silent, and were all staring at Noli, “Okay so we all heard C00lkidd just call him dad, right?” Chance said bluntly and Two Time nodded, “Clear as day, though it isn’t much of a surprise if you think about it.” They said and Guest looked at them, “Kids do tend to refer to people as mom or dad whenever they’re in their care for long enough, but Noli..you look surprised has he not..done that before?” He asked turning to Noli who shook his head, “N0, h3’z n3v3r c4ll3d me 4nyth1ng r3m0t3ly cl0z3 2 d4d” Noli stood up before walking outside to go watch C00lkidd and make sure that he was okay.
Everyone’s attention suddenly turned to Seven
Shedletsky spoke up, “So..any reason he might’ve called him dad?” He said accusatorily and Builderman put a hand on Shedletsky’s shoulder but didn’t say anything.
“I might’ve kissed Noli in front of C00lkidd..?” 007 muttered and Shedletsky looked at Builderman then back at 007n7 before as if on queue the entire group went, “YOU WHAT?!”
007 looked a bit taken aback and he stared at them all in surprise, Guest cleared his throat, “Look we’re sorry for…shouting like that, but you..you kissed Noli?” He asked and Seven nodded, “Yes..I did expect a little shock but..that was a bit of an overreaction from..all of you.”
Guest nodded, “Yeah, how about we watch C00lkidd and you and Noli get to spend some time alone together?”
Seven looked a bit confused, “I guess..but that’s kind of weird-“ Chance was already pushing him out of the door and they got C00lkidd from outside.
This was going to be an interesting day for everyone..
9AM
Now because of it being Guest’s idea and him being a father already, the survivors agreed to just have him watch C00lkidd for the day.
He of course didn’t mind this, C00lkidd was a bit odd though, he just seemed to silently observe most of the survivors and hadn’t even said a word to any of them.
Until now,
“You guys all like my papa don’t you?” He said while he colored on the floor, Guest sitting nearby on the couch. “Yes we do, of course we do we’re all friends-“ Guest started but C00lkidd interrupted him, “No..you all like my Papa the way Dad likes Papa..” He said firmly, staring at Guest. “Well, yes we do..but, we aren’t going to come between you father and Noli, okay? It’s 007n7's decision who he wants to be with and at least I will respect that, in all honesty I don’t like him like that..at least not as much as the others do..” Guest said softly, giving C00lkidd a small smile. “Okay!..I wouldn’t like having you as a dad anyways, you’re too scary.” C00lkidd said innocent and Guest was dumbfounded, but he said nothing.
1PM
Since it was lunchtime and 007n7 was still out doing whatever with Noli, Guest decided he would try and cook for everyone, even though Elliot had offered it.
Just then of course, 007n7 and Noli entered the cabin, “Oh, you guys should’ve came and got me..I would’ve cooked for every-“ Guest interrupted Seven before he could finish talking, “No, please I insist, you cook for all of us all the time anyways, so go sit down and I’ll call you when lunch is done.” Guest said politely, leaving no room for argument.
007 sheepishly went into the living room and sat down on the couch with Noli and C00lkidd, he had to admit there was something nice about somebody cooking for him..
Guest just decided on mac and cheese, something simple that they would all eat. Hopefully anyways, after around 30mins it was done and he exited the kitchen to go get everyone from what they were doing that’s when he saw Noli, 007n7, and C00lkidd all asleep on the couch together, the sight made his heart melt and he put a blanket over them..maybe he was in love with 007n7, and maybe he was okay if that included Noli too..
