Flames of Passion, Tides of Hope

Summary:

(Summary inside, it was too long. Come take a peak.)

Exerpt:

He ignored the way his brother's eyes were staring holes into the side of his face. Reaching out without looking he flicked Stack on the forehead. Once upon a time his brother would have hissed in pain. He was sure Stack hardly felt it now, but he had been struck with muscle memory. Stack blinked back his shock, grinning bright and stupid. A warmth settling in his chest. His brother hardly ever touched him now. Stack didn't know if it was out of fear or disgust maybe both even.

"Quit starin' at me." Smoke huffed.

"Let me find out you making a friend Smoke."

"I ain't makin' no god damn friends."

"Yeah whatever. Louis kinda draw you in huh? No weird shit....just...." Stack fumbled, realizing how that was sounding.

Smoke ignored his fumbling. He understood what he meant. For someone so weighed down....he had a way of being a lighthouse in a storm. Like beckoning ships at sea closer. Or rather pulling out the dying embers and giving fresh air. Thats what he was....fresh air. Something new.....a change of pace.

"Yeah..." Was all Smoke offered back.

Chapter 1: Book Summary

Notes:

Wrote this story (which is still in progress) for my friends on a girl's trip. They so sweetly asked for our obsessions to be joined together. Who was I to deny the want to see these Pairings fuck nasty? With some feels of course.

In all seriousness this is a gift to them but I wanted to test it on here to see if it had an audience who would also enjoy it.

Chapter Text

On a journey of freedom and self discovery, Louis finds himself in a new big city. Tired of his endless travels and on the verge of burning out. He runs into a set of individuals that flip his life around. A few days' stay turns into more as Louis finds comfort in two strangers. Another vampire sharing his struggles and a human man with more in common than he initially thought. Louis' bleak solidarity shifts into something brighter. In an uncanny environment for nurturing Louis begins to spread his wings. Having escaped from a gilded cage, he learns to live for himself...and maybe just maybe love himself. Trying to heal himself, Louis is unaware of the healing invoked in the SmokeStack twins.

Smoke who had long since felt like he was mere pieces of himself. Finds annoyance....and unforeseen comfort in the form of a New Orleans man and his bratty mouth. Who comes into his dragging life and exposes the cracks between his frayed relationship with his brother. A broken man mending bonds he didn't forge wasn't in Smoke's thought of future. Neither was a growing lust for a man he wanted to choke on a good day. Smoke thought himself content to wait for his eventual demise and nothing more. Til' his cold, traitorous, useless heart starts finding a new beat.

Stack for all his worth was trying. Trying to hold on to his mind, trying to hold on to his zeal for life, trying to hold on to his brother. Chicago again was never his plan. A dream that had burned back home blooming now was a slap in the face. Everyday a punishment and a reminder for the Twins. Surrounded by people every night and yet Stack had never felt more alone. Until a man whom shared an aversion to the sun met his gaze in a back alley. Feelings of camaraderie aren't the only things Louis turns up. Buried shameful desires rear their head anew and Stack finds himself struggling to cope.

What happens when two strangers become so much more? When brothers fall for the same man?

When three hearts torn to peices....start stitching within each other.

Notes:

I am currently working on different fic that has priority attention, but this has been so fun to explore. Im almost done with the current part of that fic series, so as a treat and a "don't burnout" break, I'll work on this story as a main after that work is complete.
