It was unusually quiet..
So much darkness too....
Where...?
"What have you done."
Huh?
Where did this voice come from?
So many nightshades around this.. cold forest..

The forest was getting colder.. hollow even..
Who is talking to me?
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE."
Below me.. is a dagger?
A bloody one.

Something shot up towards their chest, impaling them.
Two Time's eyes shot open, waking up from a bad dream. They held their face, taking a deep breath. "What even was that dream..?" They held their chest, remembering the last thing in their nightmare before they immediately woke up. They calmed down, shrugging it off that it was just a nightmare. They need to get up and get to work after all because it was morning.. best check on the flowers because today is where they have to water them.
But first they want to clean up. It been two days since they showered.
What is the plan for today now? Maybe go out strolling once they finish to water the plants, they do recall they're gonna need more soil since they are gonna run out soon. Maybe some seeds for different flowers? They still have space to add another flower kind around the garden. They finished showering and grabbed the towel, once they finally dried themselves they put their clean clothes on. They put their apron and gloves on next then took the watering can outside to their garden.
Whatever that dream was..
It felt familliar.
Can dreams be messages? memories? a hint?
It was a really scary dream. What scares them more is that forest was very familliar- as if they were once there.
Ahead..
Was a field of nightshades?
Nightshades...
They shook their head, experiencing headache. What little nightmare does to someone.. Maybe watering these plants can help clear their mind. But that only makes things more worrying.. how long has it been? It been years.
So many years...

Coming back as a dream?
They moved on, but it seems whatever they wish to forget, continues to haunt them either way and no matter what.
But deep down.. They miss him.
And they know he will never come back. Hes gone forever and it's all their fault.
Part of them wish it could have been avoided if they weren't such a fool, listening to their mentor so much just to please their god's demands.
That night might be clear as day, but they never forgotten their argument with their mentor.
Just why are they dwelling the past now?... That was years ago..
And it hurts the more they remember. It reminded them how powerless they were, doing anything just to avoid punishment.. anything even killing the love of their life.
Was it all worth it?

It was all a lie. They were told he will return, gifted.
But what is this gift exactly? All they received was pain and heartache.

Watering can's empty. They'll refill it later. They stood up to place it back to it spot but they noticed something afar. There was.. someone? They tried to look closer but as soon they blinked, it dissapeared.
Was that their imagination? They could've sworn someone was behind a tree that far..
Maybe they are just tired. Didn't get a good sleep because of the nightmare.

They wanted to believe it was just their imagination.
But as days passes...
They experience the same thing.. a figure from afar being there and suddenly dissapears whenever Two Time wants to see closer.
And what's more frightening is...
It's getting closer.
For the first time it was next to the tree far away out of their garden.. but now that mysterious person gotten close enough, standing just outside their garden.
And not only that, they are followed even. Anytime they head out for shopping or explore popular areas, they suddenly notice the same mysterious figure around them anytime they glance to its way, only to dissapear immediately after they blink, thinking they saw something.
It stressing them out a lot more. They no longer believe it just an imagination now.. is someone targeting them?..
Even if they weren't alone and went hanging out with friends- it's still after them.
What does it want?
Why won't it leave them alone?
"Two Time?.. You keep spacing out.." Elliot no longer wants to ignore that, Two Time doesn't know what to tell him- would he really believe them if they told him about something.. stalking them?
"Is everything alright? You look scared." He was willing to listen, Two Time was debating with themselves because they don't want to sound crazy. "Just say what's bothering you, we're listening" Chance also noticed.
Two Time sighed, "I don't know if I'm crazy or not but.. I feel like someone is watching me."
"How so?" Chance asked.
"There is a mysterious figure that always stands outside my garden from afar and when I try to see who it was- they suddenly dissapear after I just blink!"
"A-And worst part.. It's getting closer.. I see it standing outside my garden and.." Two Time was instantly startled when they noticed the same figure behind Elliot and Chance from afar, dissapear yet again after a blink. Chance and Elliot turned around, Only to see no one.
"Hey. Are you sure there is someone not playing pranks with you?" Chance said.
"I-I don't know. It been happening for weeks- all it does is stand outside my garden it just bothers me when it- gets too close!" Two Time replied.
"Maybe it just liked your garden and wanted to look at it? Where does it usualy stand at?" Elliot asked.
"Nightshades.. Anytime I notice it gotten closer I always see it standing next to the nightshades." Two Time replied.
"Did you at least notice what that figure was wearing? Maybe describe it" Elliot asked again.
"Well.. It was pretty tall.. it had a hat that looked like some kind of witch hat and the clothes? I didn't get a proper closer look since the figure always disapears whenever I try to but I did get a quick glance.. it was pretty torn and dirty?" They described by memory.
Both Elliot and Chance were silent, thinking.
"Do you really think it not someone who might hurt me? Just.. someone who wants to take a look at my flowers?" Two Time was still worried.
"We'll keep that in mind honestly. Just.. if that mysterious figure got waaaaaay too close and seemed about to do something I suggest you hide and call the cops. Give me and Ells a call so we can come over and help since the cops take their time alright?" Chance reassured.
"Alright. I'll keep that in mind." Two Time replied, still feeling uneasy.
"I know calling the cops right now would be basically a waste of their time since you mentioned how quick they vanish.. maybe try to get some proof? With enough evidence they might help do something about it." Elliot hopes things are fine for them. Having a stalker is really scary.
"Thank you both.. I'll try these advices and hope this ends. It hard to sleep these days knowing something's outside my house.. waiting.." Two Time shivered at that thought, "Maybe trying to figure out how to get inside and get me-"
"Hey relax. I know things are gonna be fine. Plus you're tough after all so whoever tries to mess with you just do your knife tricks to scare them." Chance said.
"Alright alright, maybe I am too paranoid about all this. I feel a little better now." Two Time feels well comforted.
"Anytime now. I still thank you for the flowers, my sister is gonna love it for decoration in her room." Elliot smiled, waving goodbye to head home.
"Thanks for telling us, take care now Two Time" Chance waved goodbye.
Two Time waved too with a smile, heading to their home now.
This day off was worth it. Two Time returned to their home, they quickly glanced around, not seeing this figure.. yet? They went inside their house and locked the door behind them, on their way to crash in bed out of exhaustion. "I know I could do something else but resting was something I barely could get these past days. Gosh..."

This mysterious figure liked their flower?
It always stands next to the nightshades...
"...These days no one orders for nightshades and I still have plenty.. maybe I can wrap a bouquet of nightshades for this figure?"
"Maybe they are not harmful.. it natural for someone who wants to get a closer look.. maybe they were shy thinking I would chase them off.."
"Aww.. I'll just make a bouquet and leave it there for them then." Two Time got off the bed and went downstairs. They grabbed their gardening snips and head to the nightshades, taking a few of these flowers and giving them some snips. "Best to make it look nice. I remember how he did it back then." by memory, they used the same technique their past lover did to make bouquets look more presentable.
"I'll just use this string to tie them together. It looks nicer this way."
Once they finished, they paused, watching the nightshade flowers on their hands.
"I miss you so much.." Two Time had a frowned look, leaving the nightshades aside and went to head home.
Suddenly, the tall figure appeared, waited for Two Time to go back inside their house. He noticed the nightshades wrapped together, picking it up.
"..."
These hands were not human, touching the petals of the flower, unbothered that they are poisonous to the touch if without gloves.
It took the nightshades with it, walking away while admiring it.
As Two Time was busy grieving while sitting on a chair next to the window, they noticed the figure walking. They blinked and quickly stood up to get closer to the window, watching the figure walk away instead of dissapearing.. it's even carrying the nightshades!
"I guess it liked it." Two Time had a small smile. They sat back on the chair debating wether to sleep it off or do anything since the sun is setting. Right, dinner would be nice. Maybe some spaguettis will do.
They went to fetch the ingredients and prepare the pot. They grabbed the knife to start cutting some onions and tomatoes but when they picked that knife, their hand started to shake.
"You're a murderer."

They continued to stare, the voices in their head reminding them that they will never escape from their past. A murderer like them deserves no second chance.
"I know." They replied, holding the knife tightly then started to cut.
It was quite a hard experience sometimes. Suddenly things reminding who you were exactly even if you moved on. They closed the pot after adding the ingredients and the spaguetti and went to sit down on the couch. They closed their eyes while laying down and relax, unaware there was someone looking at them through the window.
The same mysterious figure that took the nightshades and continuously being around their place. It eyes was focused on Two Time, laying all by themselves. It noticed they fell asleep while their dinner was cooking so it knocked on the window to wake them up, then quickly vanishes.
"Huh wuh-" Two Time could have sworn they heard banging on the window. They stood up to check but there was no one.. They went to check on the spaguetti, taking a few into their mouth with a fork to see if its ready.
"Yeah. It's good now." They turned the fire off and went to grab their plate to fill it with spaghettis. Then sat down and placed their plate on the table and started to eat.

They miss his cooking. They usually taste better than their cooking.. but they are doing their best, helping themselves with cooking tips books and the books that contains recipes. It a hassle sometimes but they are hanging well. Except when it comes to use the knife for cutting..
They were full, they grabbed their plate and fork to wash them then let them dry. They yawned after that so they went to sleep.

"What am I hearing now?"
The night is very silent. But they hear strange noises.. It can't be that mysterious figure again right..? Two Time got up and tried to peek through the window. Everything's dark and there is no one either.. so what woke them up in the middle of the night?
...
They do want to look around their house to make sure there is no intruders around that could possibly be trying to rob them but it so.. oddly quiet. After more minutes of waiting they don't hear anything else.. They always make sure their house is locked tight before sleeping, maybe they're okay. They went to use the bathroom real quick and head back to their bedroom.
Nothing weird happened this night so maybe they just woke up in need to go to the bathroom. They shifted comfortably in bed and covered themselves in a blanket, drifting to sleep.

A sillouhette appeared near the window, purple eyes glowing as it stares directly to Two Time. The mysterious figure was not gone, it instead gotten closer to the point now it always stand outside their window just to watch them sleep. It placed it hand on the window, it nails being sharp to cut things easily as if it wants to break the window. But all it did was stare, then retreats once its morning before Two Time could see it when they wake up.
This mysterious figure was just there to figure out how to get inside.
Two Time woke up, doing their usual mourning routine. Wake up, use the bathroom, wash face or take a quick shower then have breakfast. After that they would put on their apron and wear their gloves as usual to avoid dirtying their clothes while they go fetch flowers that people ordered.
Things was normal today.
No sight of that tall figure either.
It like it has finally left them alone.
For over a week Two Time felt at peace and no longer in stress of thinking someone is being a danger to them. It seems all it took is give it what it wants and it'll go.. they do wonder, why nightshades? They do look pretty, started to love it because their past lover liked to talk about it a lot. They did tell the news to Chance and Elliot that the stranger left them alone. They were both relieved and happy for Two Time. They finished making orders for today, there wasn't too many luckily and went to deliver them by themselves because few of them didn't live too far from their place. As for the rest, it will just be kept there waiting until those who ordered the flowers arrives and take them.
Being a florist does has it perks a lot. They remember getting hired to decorate the flowers for the weddings and it usually pays well.
After finishing before the sun sets, Two Time went home, tired so they laid on the couch to nap. They fell asleep quicker.

"Love is just a name."
"Can't you see all it does is distracting you? Being rebellious against our lord?"
"Azure was also one of us..! Why does he have to die?!"
"Because our great lord spawn have chosen the both of you! His death is not in vain and what you did was for the best of you two. Azure is honoured and so should you."

"Watch your tone Two Time. We, the messengers of our great lord are not liars. We helped everyone follow the spawn's steps, including you and Azure."
"I advise you to watch your words in front of the others as they wouldn't take that lightly. You're my favorite student and I do not want to punish you. So enough of these games of yours and understand that hes in good hands. You're in my care until the day comes."

Fine.

Then I won't stay here. If they really keep taking me for a fool..
Then I won't keep playing pretend anymore. I'm leaving this place forever and go to the city that Azure told me about.

But part of them tells them they did the right thing to leave. Their mentor was just like everyone else.. these lies just to comfort you and convince you nothing went wrong. The longer they stayed, the more unnerving it has gotten. They miss.. feeling safe.

Despite it been so many years.. they still long for his touch, be held again and wake up everyday to be in his warmth. It all cold now. They couldn't forgive themselves for pointing that dagger at his vital part.. it like they were realy manipulated thinking that it was the right thing. Because thats what the elders told them.
They say being closer to their lord is very divine, delightful even.
But they never felt any of that. All they felt was guilt and grief. Only Amarah noticed how they really felt, always comforting them and reassurring them.
But these words felt like poison.

"What with my brain showing me memories I do not want to remember all of a sudden?- Whose side are you on?!" They talked to themselves, they learned human brains likes to replay some memories out of nowhere and sometimes they can be embarrassing or.. awfully depressing. But why does it like to do that? Can't it replay happy moments instead?!
"Whatever.." They stood up, realizing they still had their apron and gloves on so they decided to change their clothes into something more comfortable. It was night time now.
"Yawn.. Even after this long nap I'm still tired.. maybe a much more comfortable sleep in bed would help." As they were heading to the stairs they suddenly heard glass shattering sounds on the kitchen, startled.
"What..?" They swiftly turned their head, rushing to the kitchen to check what is going on. That is definetely not a raccoon that likes to break inside and steal their fruits.. When they reached the kitchen all they could hear is the wind blowing and glass scattered all over the floor. "Who?.." They tried to stay calm. There is no rocks or pebbles so what broke the window? They don't see anybody or even outside or..
"Eeek..!" Two Time noticed a shadow moved at the living room. They rushed for the rotary telephone to call the cops, following their friends advice. "C-Come on.. come on.." They were confused why it wasn't working and when they checked the wires.. it was cut.
Panic began to rise, they tried to pull their phone but they realized it not their pocket.. they.. they left their phone in the living room.
They carefully peeked, not seeing any signs of the intruder so they quietly sneaked to quickly snatch their phone from the couch. They hid behind the couch, waiting to be able to grab their phone unseen. They were trembling, hearing another loud crash of their other couch being thrown landing upside down right beside them they quickly crawled away and stood up to grab the big shear left on the table for self defense.
They couldn't grab their phone because the couch they were hiding behind got thrown around too. Is the intruder even.. human? How can it throw around their furnitures like it nothing?
What are they gonna do? They can't try calling for help without their phone and whoever that intruder is- they thought ahead to cut their telephone's wires! They were scared but they held their shear close, hearing footsteps moving in front of them, reveals who the intruder was.
It was indeed tall, clothes being torned and old and.. the witch hat..
It can't be.. the same mysterious person who always stands next to their nightshades.. whom they thought is gone forever has come back.. breaking inside their home..!
"W-Why are you doing this? Who are you.." They pointed their shear at it, voice trembling with fear. Seeing this person up close is really scary now because.. they don't appear human at all. Their hands resembles like claws because of the sharp nails and.. large even.. their face are also shadowed because of the hat. Aside their creepy features that doesn't make them human.. the sense of familliarity was strong.
"..." He was silent, staring at Two Time.. then all of a sudden he growled, taking a step forward.
"Don't come any closer..! I'm not afraid to use this against you..!!" They threatened, hoping it would scare the person a little but he didn't take a step back at all, unfazed.
"..." Something unfurled from his back.. tentacles?
The tentacles shot forward, slapping the shear off their hand then one of them wraps around their leg, pulling them to cause them to fall. Two Time yelped as their back hit the floor, unable to move their arms as the tentacles wrapped them, straining them on the floor.
"Y-You're not human.." Two Time's eyes was still wide open, they tried to struggle from these tentacles wrapping around them but was powerless. They began to cry out of fear, closing their eyes expecting worse to come to them.
"It's really you. At last."

Two Time slowly opened their eyes and watched the monster in front of them, still in the shadows. Two Time stared at the tentacle that wrapped one of their legs slithering it way to their top, wrapping their waist next. They can see the tentacle squeezing them a little, especially their belly.
"So thin..yet soft."
"But I'm here now. I'll make sure to feed you."
Azure decided to take off his clothes, throwing away his shirt and pant leaving himself in his boxers. He leaned closer to Two Time, kissing them on the lips again, a brief one. "A-Azure.. What exactly happened?.."

"You told me you killed everyone.. did you even kill the elders..?"
"Yeah. Spawn. you should've seen their face." He barked out a laugh. "Especially your mentor! The look on his face to see me come back then gut him open. Bastard's had it coming."

"It his fault for trying to brainwash what's mine. I shouldn't have ignored the signs back when I was alive, it doesn't matter anymore now."

The more they added, the more tears continued to form in their face, crying right in front of Azure. He was unfazed with their words, "Well I'm happy you acknowledge how weak you are."

"Makes me want to.. protect you." He cupped their face, his thumb brushing their lips.
Two Time closed their eyes, their tears flowing faster, their lips being pressed with his, their arms fought back against the tentacles to wrap his shoulder. Azure broke the kiss, leaned to their shoulder, looking for something.
"W-Will you disappear?.." Their voice was trembling.
"Never. Fret not." He replied, his arms moving to wrap Two Time on their waist. He began to suck on their neck, then sinks his teeth on their skin to leave a mark. Two Time flinched a little from the pain, then calmed down when Azure licked their mark next.
"Are you still hurt..?" Two Time noticed the stab mark on Azure's body, their hand reached to touch it, noticing how it healed but the mark is still there. "I don't feel any pain anymore." He was quick to reply, but very mesmerized with the way Two Time touched him.
"I miss those ethereal touches. These soft hands of yours.." He spoke in his mind, then swiftly grabbed their wrist and pinned them on the bed with his hand. Two Time watched a tentacle sliding between their breasts to grab onto their bra, swiftly pulling it off of them leaving their breast free.

His tentacles slithered their way to wrap Two Time's arms together, pinning them at the back of their head. "What are you doing?" They noticed his hand resting on their belly. "Such a silly question you have Nightshade.. You've chosen me remember?"
"I just need to finish what I started." He slid their underwear off with his hand. Two Time's vulnerable spot was open for Azure to view, fully drinking the sight. "I want it all Nightshade." his hands moved to their thighs, moving them to widen their legs. "All for me."

"You're safe with me now. I'll never let you off my sight where they can do things to you without me knowing." He kissed them on the forehead, softly brushed their hair, moving his hand to pat them. "You don't need to pretend anymore. I'm here now."
"I'll never leave you alone. It already hurts so much what you did to yourself after my death."

It was morning, Two Time struggled to move because of last night, they did their best to finally sit up. They noticed Azure was still there, very touched even.
It.. no longer these same days. The amount of times they were mourning for him, even the slightest remnder of him sends them to tears. But here he is, cuddling with them.. alive.. real.. warm.
They couldn't help but plant a kiss on his cheek, the way he sleeps so soundly was really cute for them. They got off the bed, put their clean clothes on.. they might need to go buy some new clothes because Azure ripped their last ones just to wreck them in bed.
They head downstairs and grabbed the ingredients to make pancakes for breakfast. They hummed as they grabbed the flour and mix the ingredients needed together, since Azure is here they added more. They grabbed the griddle, cooking the pancakes.
Two Time felt a hug behind them, Azure's head resting at the top of their head as he watched them cook. "I don't remember you being able to cook, were you practicing?"
"Yeah. It was tricky to memorize how you did it since there is a lot of steps so I helped myself with some books.."
"So you learned how to read? That's good."
"It wasn't easy..But I did manage with writing too."
"You started learning things they refused to offer you back in the village.. I'm happy."
"It smells really nice.."
"I'm trying a different recipe this time.. I hope it doesn't end up bad.."
"Even so, you can always try again.. mistakes always happen. I'll help you too if you want."
"I'd love to cook with you Azure.. You're more better than me!"
The pancakes were ready, Azure insisted to let Two Time do the prep instead since it helps them learn. Hes curious what they are doing, watching them pull out bananas, nutella chocolates and creme fraiche.
He watched them use the knife to apply chocolate on the pancake, then adds sliced bananas then use the pancake to wrap them. "I'll add this creme next just to break the sweetness- you don't mind right?"
"I like trying anything you make. Maybe I'll try your new favorites." He patiently sat on the chair. Two Time finished one pancake then gave it to Azure, eager to hear what he thinks.
"Hey.. this is good. I like it."
"Maybe you weren't bad after all. Can you make me more?"
"Of course!" Two Time said happily.
"Don't forget to make yours too."
Hes planning to make lot of meals for them after they leave the house for work so that when they return home, they got something to fill themselves with and he'll make sure they will eat healthy.
They both sat down and ate breakfast together. Two Time feels more happy to be the one to make something for Azure. Usually Azure is the one making things for them to eat so being the one to treat him makes them smile.
"I should go to work now Azure.. Will you be okay alone?"
"I'll be fine. I'll just stay and enjoy these yummy pancakes you've made for me. Just be careful alright? Don't be afraid to tell me if there is anything bothering you.. or anyone." He suddenly sounds protective, Two Time reassured Azure and went to get dressed.
One day, he would love to work with them too. Gardening is his specialty, he is a well experienced botanist after all. At least that way Two Time wouldn't be off his sight.
Before Two Time left, he approached them and gave them a kiss, bidding farewell to them. "I'll be back later alright? I love you!"
"I love you too." He replied, watching them leave.
