A rattata emerged from it's hole, rubbing itself clean. It looked around before looking up only to be slammed down upon by a black shark claw. That claw picked the Rattata up by the tail and was met with the Indoraptor Ripper. He gave the rat pokemon a somber look before saying "Life's not fair is it? You see I, well, I will never be king." He played with the rattata as gently as he could with his sharp claws before grabbing it again with it's tail. "And you," Ripper smiled. "Will never see the light of another day." He opened his mouth to eat the mouse when - "Didn't your mother ever to tell your not play with your food?" He looked over to see Talonflame giving him a raised eyebrow. "What do you want now Talon?"
Ripper lowered his claws to the floor of the cave. "I came to inform you that Queen Shadowcatcher is coming this way. So you better have a good excuse for missing the Ceremony." This gave the Rattata it's chance to escape and run into a small hole. Ripper looked disappointed. "Oh look Talon, you made me lose my lunch." Talon scoffed as he said rolled his eyes. "He's be more fumed than that. He's more angrier than a hippowdon with a hernia." Ripper smiled maliciously. "Oh I quiver with fear!" He stood up and started stalking toward the Talonflame. "Now Ripper, don't look at me like that!" He quickly flew into the air only for Ripper to pounce and pin him down.
"RIPPER!"
He stopped and looked to see Shadowcatcher glaring at him from atop a rock. "Leave him." she ordered. "Impeccable timing your majesty!" He scoffed as he got off him and approached her. "Why~ If it isn't my adopted sister coming from far high to mingle with commoners." He walked around her before walking toward a wall. "Greeneyes and I didn't see you at the presentation of Toothless." she growled. "That was today?" He put on a look of mock surprised before putting his claws on the wall. "Oh I feel simply aaaawfuull." Claws dragged down, making a horrible screeching sound and earning a cringe from Talonflame. Ripper checked his claws before looking over at her.
"Must have slipped my mind." Talonflame glared as he fluttered infront of the indoraptor. "Well as slippery as your mind is as the Queen's brother you should have been first in line!" He snapped his jaws making him fly back and hide between Shadowcatcher's front legs. "I was first in line." He approached and thrusted his neck forward to see the fire bird pokemon. "Until the little scale was born." "That little scale is my son." She looked him in the eyes before they both raised their heads as she said "And your future king." "Oh I shall practice my courtesy." He turned his back to leave. "Don't turn your back on me Ripper!" The indoraptor turned his head. "Oh no Shadowcatcher. Perhaps you shouldn't turn your back on me."
This earned an angered roar as she flew above him and landed infront of him, her retractable teeth out. "Is that a challenge?!" "Temper, temper, I wouldn't dream of challenging you." "Pity.: Talonflame piped in "Why not?" Ripper smiled as he got on eye level of the pokemon. "Well as far as brains go, I got the raptor's share." He looked up to eye level of his adopted sister. "But when it comes to brute strength?" He shrugged as he walked by them. "I'm afraid I'm on the shallow end of the gene pool." The night fury and Talonflame watched as he walked away. "There's one in every family sire. Two in my case." He flew onto her shoulder. "Any they always manage to ruin special occasions." "What am I gonna do with him?" she asked. Talonflame smirked as he said "You can make him into a very nice head mount." "Talonflame." ShadowCatcher mused smiling.
Talonflame flew beside he as they made their way back home. "And just think, you can just give him a stern talking to when you feel like it."

The rain had come during the night, making the land wet as it rained. Zecora was up in her tree painting, mumbling to herself. She laughed a she gently moved her hoof ontop of a painting of Toothless. "Toothless." she mused to herself.
