Gummy guy stopped, his snout crinkling with laughter as he leaned in even further and flicked one of Pomni's bells.
Flicked it. Who does that?
Well, Jax did. But it was different when he did it. He did it just to get under her skin, not to do whatever it is crocs-his-face was doing. Getting under other things, probably. But Pomni hated when Jax messed with her like that, so it hardly mattered. At least, he thought she did.
(Or, the adventure at Spudsy's goes a little differently.)
