2 years ago, Noob wasn't particularly upset by how they lived. They were able to afford food, pay for their degree, and pay taxes. They never were interested in miscellaneous items.

 

 Until they met Chance. He was... an interesting person. Casino owner, reckless at times, but besides that, an absolute sweetheart. They always spoiled Noob with gifts and confectionery, saying it's no big deal.

 

In just a short span of time, the things Noob would've never thought of owning were in their possession.

It was a lovely summer evening in Forscity. Noob originally planned to rest, yet Chance decided to surprise them with a last-minute date. They weren't opposed to the idea—in fact, they were excited. 

 

So here they were. Standing in front of a mirror, panicking if they looked good enough. They just went for their classic navy blue shirt and amber jeans. As for their hair, they tied it up in a ponytail, and that was it. They were still debating on going. Chance would understand if they just stayed home and just watched movies. As long as they spent time together, they would be happy.

 

Until a knock on the front door snapped them out of their thoughts. Right. They were looking forward towards it earlier, and despite the urge to just rest, they were curious to see how the date would would play out.

 

 Noob braced themselves and walked towards the front door. Not even a second after they opened it, Chance entered, a bundle of white, red, and burgundy roses held in their left hand. "Hi." Chance looked Noob up and down. "You look wonderful." Chance whispered, breathless. 

Noob's cheeks were flushed, but they returned the smile. "You look pretty too, Chance.

He placed the bundle of roses on the counter and held out a hand.

 

"Ready to go?"

 

Noob took their hand.

Chance and Noob walked down the dimly lit street, fingers interlocked. For a good 5 minutes, no words were spoken.

 

Chance broke the silence. "There's this mall nearby I've been meaning to take you to..." 

 

"Ah? Surely it's not too expensive...?"

 

 Chance chuckled. "Nothing's too expensive for you, darlin'." He paused. "Besides, it's a date. Let me spoil you a little, yeah?" (Chance always spoils Noob, but they weren't going to say it out loud.)

 

"I guess I need a vase for the roses you bought..." Noob sighed, allowing themself to be dragged along with Chance's shenanigans.

 

Another 10 minutes passed until they arrived at the central mall. It was adorned in lights, like it was jewelry. Noob stared in awe. "How come I've never heard of this place...?"

 

"Recently opened, darling! I checked it out last week and saw stuff I knew you would adore. I'm guessing I was right, eh?"

 

This earned them a roll of the eyes and a playful punch. "I adore anywhere you take me, Chance." 

 

"Then you'll love this!"

The first place Chance took Noob was a clothes shop. More specifically, hot topic. Noob rushed towards the studded magenta belt, eyes lighting up. Chance noticed, and let put a chuckle.  "Knew you'd like it!." They teased.

They walked out of the shop with multiple bags, Chance carrying half, whilst Noob carried the other half. "Ah... Sorry, I got a bit too carried away... That black and green skirt really was too tempting!" Noob chuckled, noticing Chance looking towards another shop. They seriously... couldn't be thinking of going to more?!

 

Before they could even try to convince Chance to change his mind, Chance intertwined their fingers together.

 

"Let's quickly go to that gift store, darlin!"

 

Noob let themselves be dragged along for the second time that night.

3 hours later they finally exited the mall. Chance wasn't joking about going all out, and he had to carry the majority of the bags.

 

"There are two more shops I would like to take you to." Chance smirked—that dumb, charming smirk—before grabbing hold of Noob's hand. 

 

"Chance, there seriously can't be more!" For the second time that night, Noob allowed themselves to be dragged along.

"Hello, welcome to Builders Pizzeria. May I take your order?" The worker held their head in their hands with a bored expression.

 

 

...A pizza place? Well, Noob wasn't complaining. It was one of the best in town anyways. Besides, they haven't had pizza in a good while... They just hoped they returned home soon; the bags were beginning to tire their arms out.

 

"May I get 2 pepperoni pizzas to go, please?"

 

"Right. That'll be ■■■■■■■■■■■■."

 

Noob sat at a table, looking out the window. They weren't paying attention to the conversation. Instead, their head was playing the earlier events of the day. A tap on their shoulder dragged them out of their thoughts, staring up at Chance.

 

"Hey. I got the pizzas. You've been staring out that window for a good 5 minutes; are you okay?" Chance's expression turned serious as they caressed their cheek.

 

Noob leaned into the touch. "I didn't notice it's been that long.... You mentioned there's one more shop, right?"

 

Chance nodded before pausing. "It's not really a shop, however.." this piqued Noobs interest.

 

"What do you mean?" Chance picked up the bags and gestured for Noob to follow them. The pizza boxes were packed neatly in one of the bags, avoiding any accidents.

 

Outside, Chance looked through the bags. "Come on... come on... Got it! Here! Sprinklers." Chance smiled. "Hoping we could eat and watch...? Although, no ide-"

 

"I know a place!" This time, Noob grinned like an idiot and grabbed Chance's hand. For once, Chance was the one being dragged along, and they had no complaints. Although, they did hope no bags were torn in the process...

 

 

They sat down near a rooftop overgrown with plants. Chance adjusted the sprinkler and sat next to them. From this view, the stars were clear as day. Noob began to eat the pizza, whilst Chance looked at them with a thoughtful expression. The gaze made Noob feel a bit nervous, but they turned to face Chance.

 

"Is something... on my face?" They instinctively raised a hand before they felt Chance hold their chin, leaning in for a kiss. Noob blushed as they set down the pizza.

 

"Are you okay with this?"

 

"More than okay." Chance kissed them under the midnight sky, the sprinkler slightly soaking them both.

 

 

With a final peck to the lip, Chance looked at the view, caressing Noob's hand.

 

Noob never thought they could get used to this, and now they adore it all.

Chapter 3: Estrogen Dealer

It was a beautiful summer morning. For once, 20 assignments weren't due by midnight and Elliot had the day to himself!

Until one of their dumbass partners decided to call.

"Elli! Heyy.. Quick favour... Do you have any estrogen leftover?"

..Being the only one with a job had no advantages. Elliot eyed the stack of estrogen in the corner, before sighing. Sev was really going to be the death of him.

"Maybe." Elliot fought the urge to hang up on Sev the moment he heard a groan.

"C'mon! Elliiii... you wouldn't do this to your own, lovely partners right!!"

Right now he was close to. But that was between him and the walls.

Elliot grumbled, before sitting upright. "Fine. I do. I'm not walking to your dorm room, by the way. It'll look suspicious."

"OHMYGOD WE LOVE YOU, ELLIOT !! THANK YOU!!" That was Noli's voice. Elliot wasn't surprised. Those two were sharing a dorm room.

It had been 5 minutes. Elliot stared at the ceiling, rethinking everything that has led to this point. Out of all people... he is the estrogen dealer. There is NO way he is putting that on his future resumes, thank you very much. After getting this job, his life has been nothing but hell. (Being an estrogen dealer in secret was considered hell to him okay?!) At this rate he doubted there would be estrogen left. Elliot began silently hoping they forgot about getting the estrogen, until a knock crushed his hopes.

"Coming." He groaned, opening the door. There stood his annoying lovers.

"ELLI!!" Noli grinned, inviting itself in.

"Thanks dude... we really needed some estrogen!"

"Yeah, yeah... moment you guys get paid, I'm getting 90% of it." Elliot waved them off before he picked up the stash on the counter. Noli kissed his cheek, before it grabbed the bag.

"That should be enough for a few days." Elliot waved his hand. "Again. The-"

"Moment we get jobs we have to buy our own... we know.." Sev rolled his eyes, before Elliot kicked them both out.

"Goodbye. That date for next week is still on, correct?" Noli nodded, whilst Sev gave him a thumbs up.

"Yep! Don't worry... we'll pay. Somehow." Noli nervously chuckled. Elliot closed the door on that note.

He can finally relax.. Although..As Elliot stared into the sunset.... (hey wait a minute wasn't it just morning?!)

Maybe being an estrogen dealer was his destiny...! Unfortunately.
