I nearly died. So many different things hurt, I cannot even explain.

This was supposed to be a more elaborate piece, but I realized (late last night, when I was redoing this for the 4th time) that I wasn't going to finish on time. So I essentially split one big artwork into two smaller artworks. If I recover in the next few days, part 2 should be up on Tuesday. I shall be optimistic.

Chapter 2: Soulmate Mark Elements

Uhhh I actually finished this a while back, but for reasons, posting got delayed until now. Even I'm impressed at myself for taking this long.

Anyway, I didn't feel confident in my ability to illustrate the characters with soulmate marks on their arms, so I decided to make something that condenses all the symbols mentioned in the fic. I don't think it came out half-bad! And I had fun, which is the point.

Fic summary:

When Ye Xiu hands over One Autumn Leaf's account card, his fingers brush Sun Xiang's, and immediately, he feels a warmth he'd only ever heard of. Figures that it this is the moment he'd find his soulmate. Fortunately, their glow of First Touch was subtle; but the double 'oh shit' echoing loudly across both their minds is not.

The rest of the room, except Su Mucheng, is too wrapped up in their mockery of the moment to notice, but circumstances have changed drastically in the span of seconds, and a complex situation just got a whole lot more complicated.
