The newcomer looks at them. “Hi, I’m Percy Jackson, looking for Captain Nash.”
“Percy, good to finally meet you.” Bobby smiles, easy and genuine. Hen and Eddie, curious and not at all subtle about it are already walking over to see what’s going on.
“You can call me Bobby.” Their captain turns to the rest of the team. “Guys, this is Percy Jackson, our newest member.”
Buck’s gaze jumps over to Eddie, who’s already looking back at him with surprise on his face. Hen is having a similar exchange with Chim, but is the first to catch herself and remember her manners.
“Nice to meet you. I’m Hen.”
Percy has a firm handshake and an intensity in his eyes that is just this side of unsettling.
“You didn’t mention we’d be getting someone new,” Hen says.
Bobby grins at her. “Well, with Adams retiring next month, we needed someone new. And when Percy’s resume came across my desk, I thought he’d fit well at the 118.”
Something in the phrasing of that… “So, you’re not straight off the academy?”
Percy shakes his head. “No, I’m a transfer. I moved here from New York recently. Been working with the NYFD for almost three years.”OR

Summary
Kronos was a really interesting God, in Percy’s opinion. He was a Titan God who had killed his dad to take over, then ruled for a long time and created the Golden Age... before he ate his kids and they got revenge by cutting him up. Percy related to him though, not on the eating his kids part, but the part where Kronos murdered his own dad.
Percy very much wished he could murder Gabe. Kronos probably had loads of ideas for killing horrible (step)parents. And people prayed to Gods for help all the time, why not for help with murder?
Or: Percy starts worshipping Kronos as a kid, hoping for some advice on how to off Gabe. Kronos is happy to assist.Series
