Welcome to Alpha’s Prime

Summary:

Alpha’s Prime has the highest standard for Alpha training in Japan. Their Alphas are sought out by omegas all over the world. So naturally, when he felt ready, Izuku booked an appointment to buy his very first Alpha. It was a significant step towards true adulthood. He was a bit nervous, but he trusted the service. His mom had used it, his omega colleagues at the Plus Ultra Bank had too.
He never expected to find Kacchan in a place like that, and even less to find out that he was actually an Alpha.

OR, how omega Izuku ends up buying alpha Katsuki despite having met him as a fellow omega when they were kids.

Chapter Text

“Welcome to Alpha’s Prime. My name is Nanako, and I’ll be at your service. Can I get you some tea?”

The beta receptionist was wearing a tailored suit and had impeccable hair and makeup, all soft and minimalist. She welcomed Izuku through the store entrance, which looked more like a jewelry store than anything else.

“Ahm… yeah.. sure. Thanks.”

There were only two widely spaced tables, very well-placed pieces of art, and some beautiful flowers. The air inside was so clinically clean, Izuku felt conscious about his own omega scent.

She served him a freshly brewed chamomile tea and started some small talk about the weather. She was obviously waiting for him to relax a bit, which he was very grateful for.

“So, Mr. Midoriya, as you may already know, Alpha’s Prime has the highest standard for Alpha training in Japan. Our Alphas are sought out by omegas all over the world. I’m positive we’ll have an Alpha that suits your preferences. You may rest assured that all the information you provide us will be strictly confidential.”

Izuku sipped his tea once more. He knew that. Alpha’s Prime was the best of the best. He was certain that when the time came, he would use their services. He was just a year away from his business degree and was already working at Plus Ultra Bank as an investment analyst.

He had moved out of his mom’s house and put together a very nice flat for himself. He had the means now to house an Alpha and would no longer postpone it. His omega peers at the bank had theirs and spoke highly of the benefits.

“Do you have a profile in mind, or should I proceed with some questions so we can trace the profile together?”

Izuku had a profile in mind, but he also didn’t want to miss a good choice by narrowing it too much. And to admit out loud that he wanted an Alpha muscly and blond like his mother’s was too Freudian.

“I would rather trace the profile.”

“Sure thing. So, tell me a bit about your routine.”

Izuku talked to the beta woman for almost half an hour about his profession, his hobbies, his family, famous omegas he admired, his expectations for the future, and so on.

“What about your expectations for your Alpha? Do you plan on having them for a long time? Is that something you’ve thought about?”

“Hm… yes. If we’re compatible enough, I don’t see why not keep them.”

“Life expectancy of a well-cared Alpha can go up to 90 years old. They usually start showing less potency in the early sixties, but with modern treatments, they can be useful up to the early 70s!” She said proudly, and then whispered, “We have an Alpha tending to the third generation of omegas in a prestigious household, can you believe?”

Izuku didn’t feel surprised by that bit of information. He would probably keep his mother Alpha around even if something happened to her, god forbid. But All Might had once taken a bullet protecting his mother, and one of his lungs was completely damaged. His mom would, he hoped, long outlive him.

“I would rather have one close to my age.” He said, knowing she was talking about that to gauge his preferences.

“Sure, I’ll set a gap of 3 years, younger or older than you. Is that fine?”

“Yeah, perfect.”

“Let’s talk about temperament. Have you put some thought to it? We have some set categories if you’re not sure.”

“I want them to be friendly, good-humored. A bit clingy is ok, but I won’t be at home most of the time, so they gotta be independent enough.”

“That’s very important indeed. But what about their rut temperament?”

Izuku felt his cheeks warm at that question. She was very nonchalant about it, but it was clear they would start discussing other specifications of his desired alpha more and more.

“Hm… I think I want them to be patient. I’m not… very experienced, if you know what I mean.”

“Of course. Training for the first shared heat is mandatory for all Alphas here at Prime. You don’t have to worry about it. Later on, if you find out you have any specific needs we also provide additional training. We have some more broad training like Submission Teachings, which it's very popular nowadays, and of course, some more specifics like Safely Rope Tying, Nest Care, and many more. If you’re unsure, it’s not something you need to worry about now.”

That sounded really good for Izuku. He could always adjust later, not having to build trust with a new Alpha.

“Let’s talk a bit about appearance? Do you have any requirements? Most common desires are about sex, height, skin, hair, and eye color. Those are pretty straightforward. For body, penis, and knot sizes and shapes, we have a catalogue to help you out.”

She handed him a hard, black covered file, elegantly branded with the Alpha’s Prime logo in grey. He took it easily but was a bit uncomfortable about opening it in front of her.

“I’ll let you take a look, and you can sign your preferences here on this form. Take as long as you need, I’ll be close by. Want some more tea?”

“Ahm… no thank you.”

She left Izuku quickly. So far, he was very impressed by how they seem to think about everything. At first, he was a bit insecure about talking to a stranger about his future Alpha, but now he was feeling very well about the whole process. Even eager.

He got the form and, imbued with the sureness he built through the conversation with her, he started checking boxes on the form. Male. Blond hair. A head taller than him. Buff. How buff? There were like a dozen options for that. He opened the catalogue and, oh boy. It was like one would expect from an anatomy book, but with real pictures.

The pictures started at the neck and showed the bodies standing from the front, back, and side. Their genitalia were blurred out on this page, since he was supposed to be choosing the overall body shape. There were categories for bone structure and percentual body fat. Izuku had never put so much thought into it, but now, seeing all the body types lined up, it was kind of obvious the ones he found more attractive.

Wide shoulders, slim waist, strong calves, large pectorals. It was much easier just to check the boxes on the form, not having to talk about it. He was starting to have fun!

Now to the genitalia… those specifications were so meticulous. Izuku was definitely not used to it. Length and girth were a given, but… Curvatures? Hardness ratio? Average knotting time? Circumcised?

And oh my god, the pictures. Izuku looked over his shoulder, embarrassed, but upon realizing there was absolutely no one near him, he giggled to himself and got back to the catalogue. It was kind of fun to see all those clinically perfectly aligned cocks, in high-resolution images, on white backgrounds, and all. Definitely not something one would find easily on the internet.

Oh, and there were knot pictures too! Some bulged low and heavy, and others were more even distributed along the girth. How did they take those pictures anyways? Izuku mumbled to himself that they probably made the alpha knot a toy and then removed it moments before the picture.

After he learned that the ratio they were asking about was the size difference between the soft and hard cock. They had examples, of course. Some could be big and heavy while soft, and then just bulge a bit to full hardness. Others looked kind of small, the one in the picture was almost pathetic, but it tripled in size and length when hard. Very impressive.

Feeling way out of his depth, Izuku left it all to no preference as well.

When he closed the catalogue and put down the form, Nanako quickly got back to the table.

“Very well, Mr. Midoriya, did you have any doubts I may help you with?”

“No, everything was very well explained, thank you.”

“So, last but definitely the most important part. Let’s talk about scents. Once again, if you need, we have some broad category scents catalogued for you to experience. But I must remind you that these are just samples to guide a first impression. Later on, when you meet the candidates, you’ll be able to sense their real, unfiltered scent, so you can make a proper choice.”

“Great, I… think it will be better to start with the catalogue then.”

She smiled and reached for a velvet box that looked like a large jewelry box for an expensive necklace. When she opened it, it revealed small flasks of clear liquid, all numbered.

“Our studies show that naming the categories could influence the omega's decision. A more blind test like this has higher chances of true compatibility.” She explained, then smiled in a fun way. “Try the first one!”

Izuku reached for the flask, a bit unsure, pulled on the small cap, and took a deep breath. Then he almost choked.

“Oh, Mr. Midoriya, I’m so sorry, I should’ve warned you to start a bit slowly, the scents are very concentrated and… Do you need some water? Here, smell these fresh coffee beans, they will refresh your senses!"

Izuku almost inserted the coffee bean in his nose, eager to stop feeling the awful scent of…  well, he had no idea what that was. But it was definitely not good. Maybe piss…?

As he gathered himself, the lady fussed around him, asking forgiveness. He managed to calm her down, assuring her he was fine, it was just a bad smell.

“Okay… since you heavily reacted to the acrid category, I suggest you skip to number four. Those are more organic.”

Izuku agreed and started over, this time way more cautious. He tried some that smelled like different kinds of teas, then ones more citric, then finally some more woody. The last ones were the ones he liked most, but none of them were especially great.

“I see, the samples don’t quite reach the complexity of the real scents, I’m sorry. But now we know what kind we must lean on, and that is quite enough. Now, Mr. Midoriya, I have everything I need to select your first batch of options. It will take ten to twenty minutes to get them ready. We can provide some tea and cookies while you wait, or we can call you as soon as they are ready.”

“Oh, I love cookies. Thank you.”

She smiled politely and left promptly.

Ready to wait, Izuku took a picture of the store and sent it to his friend Ochako, who promptly responded.

“Omg, it’s really happening! Congratulations!!”

“Thanks. It’s been weirdly nice here. They are very professional.”

“Of course, it’s Alpha Prime! They are the best. Can’t wait for my turn! I think next year I’ll have the money ready.”

Ochako was the first omega in her family, a true blessing. It was very rare for betas to have an omega child naturally. The embryo selection services were extremely expensive; only omegas could afford them. Now her main goal was to financially secure her family, she would think about having an alpha herself later.

“I’m sure you will!”

“I heard you can choose knot sizes! Did you get an extra-large one?”

“Ochako!!!!!!! What kind of question is that?!”

“A really normal one, don’t be a prude. I want mine to have a long dick so she could  knot me in all these different positions and”

Izuku shut off his screen. He was not a prude! But he was very much in public, and that conversation would make his face go super red. He was already about to go through a possibly nerve-wrecking situation, he didn’t need Ochako adding to it.

Nanako brought him warm cookies and a new cup of tea, and he was happy to have the distraction. He ate all of them while scrolling through his newsfeed.

“We are ready for you, Mr. Midoriya! Follow me, please.”

Izuku promptly raised his head and pocketed his phone, following her to the back of the store. There was an elevator waiting for them that reached up to the tenth floor, but she pressed quickly for the second.

When the doors opened, Izuku walked out to a very minimalistic living room, but very beautiful. There were no windows, but the air was cleaner than outside, with no smell whatsoever. There was a large curved couch in front of what looked like a meeting room at the bank. A glass-walled room, with no furniture, only a focus of light. To one side, there was a drawer-like box, meant to pass small things through the glass walls.

He took a seat in front of the room, as the attendant dimmed the lights.

“This is a one-way glass; they can’t see or hear us, no need to be nervous. It's a very resistant material too, very safe. I’ll signal them in, and they will stand for your appreciation. If they pique your interest, we can ask them to answer a few questions for you and provide scent samples. I’ll hand you their personal files as they come, so you can make your own notations and mind the prices. We can start whenever you’re ready.”

Izuku took a small breath and agreed.

“Sure, let’s start.”

Nanako had a tablet with her, where she clicked away quickly, and a door inside the aquarium-like room opened up. A tall and very buffed man walked in. He took the few steps to the focus of the light and stood there, hands behind his back.

He was very blond, his eyes were blue, and his quiff and wide smile dangerously reminded him of All Might. He was wearing only a black Alpha’s Prime branded boxer brief.

“We call this one Le Million.” Nanako started, handing him the file. “Our team is very creative with the names, as you can see. He excelled in all sperm counting examinations, the medical team was amzed. Definitely a trait to be valued.”

Izuku tried to laugh a bit, but he was definitely anxious now. The alpha was right there, just a few meters away. He was really glad he was just looking forward; he wasn’t sure if he would be able to continue if he could be seen.

Nanako started to talk about other aspects of him that he could be interested in as he looked at the file himself. Le Million’s price sure was a match for his name.

“Le Million is also very friendly. Do you want to hear him talk a bit?”

“Sure, why not?”

She clicked something on the table, and surely the alpha started talking. The sound came clearly from a sound system.

“Hello! I’m Le Million, and hopefully I’ll be your alpha! My main goal is to make sure you’ll never be sad! I’ll even reach for the stars for it if I need to. You can trust me!”

Immediately, Izuku was a bit put off by the high energy. He himself could be like that, so he was aware he needed some balance.

“What do you think, Mr. Midoriya? Want to check a scent sample?”

“Hm… I… Don’t think I want one so… high energy, I think? How can I explain…”

“Oh, I totally get. Le Million gives off a total Labrador energy, right? It definitely can be a bit much. I think you’ll love the next one.”

With a few clicks, Le Million left, and another blond came. This one was not so tall and not so buff, but was very handsome. His hair was more simply styled, and he had this smirk on like he knew he was the best of the best.

“Meet Phantom Thief, when you least expect, he’ll steal your heart.” Nanako giggled as the alpha, seemingly unprompted, started to turn around, let himself be checked out. “He probably has mine already!”

Izuku liked confidence but not necessarily the cockiness. Was he being too strict?

“Can you ask him to say something too?”

“Sure, right away!”

She clicked away, and for a moment, Izuku thought there was something wrong because he didn’t start talking like Le Million did. Phantom Thief laughed a bit, passed his hand over his bangs, and walked to the glass wall right to the side where Izuku was seated. He couldn’t possibly be seeing through the glass, but probably all customers took the same seat.

He leaned against the glass with his elbow and stared at the almost very accurate position Izuku was in.

“So the omega wants to hear my voice, hum? I can sound like anything you want, baby.” And suddenly his voice got way lower. “I’m just waiting for you to get me.”

Izuku’s mouth silently opened and closed at that. A low voice was not something Izuku knew he’d praise in an alpha, but oh boy, that was super hot. Minak,o of course realized his interest.

“Let’s ask for a scent sample, shall we?”

Izuku agreed and she clicked something on her tablet. Soon the alpha smirked, satisfied, got a clean packed cloth from the drawer like place on the glass wall. He opened it, and in a very seductive manner he rubbed the cloth all over his neck and chest. When he deemed it good enough, he placed it inside the drawer and pushed to the other side of the glass wall.

Nanako gingerly went to it, and practiced opened the drawer, reaching for the cloth with a disposable gloved hand. She carefully placed the cloth inside a zip lock, and even put on it an adhesive label with Phamton Thiefe’s name and code, long side with Alpha Prime’s and Nanako’s contacts.

A bit unsure he opened it and took a small breath. It smelled like fresh herbs, nothing very specific. It was pleasant overall. Izuku closed it and wasn’t sure what to do with it afterwards.

“You can keep it, Mr. Midoriya! It’s yours.” She smiled and blinked at him.

Alpha’s scented items like that were available in pharmacies, usually in the heat aid section. Teenagers and young adult omegas often relied on those types of products, much like Izuku himself did. It was kind of annoying because one could never buy the same scent again, but it avoided the omega from getting attached to an anonymous alpha.

To have a scented item, knowing the alpha's fisionomy, having seen him before, being able to imagine the real alpha with his real scent, well, that was a really outstanding gift. Alpha’s Prime really knew how to treat their customers.

As Phantom Thief retreated out of the glass room, Nanako started asking him what he was thinking so far.

“Well, I’m a bit… surprised, I guess. I always thought I’d like an alpha to be friendly and well-mannered like Le Million, but…” He trailed off as Nanako started agreeing, understanding what he meant.

“Yes, I must say many clients who come looking for a friendly alpha ended up getting one that didn’t quite match that description. It’s totally okay to change your mind, Midoriya. We are here to help you find the perfect one for you.”

“Thank you, it’s been quite an experience.”

“And I hope it only gets better! If you don’t mind, I’ve selected one that… well, I wasn’t sure you’d be on board, but since you’re open to new ideas, I want you to take a look. No pressure to change anything, just to keep open minded to the possibilities, right?”

“Ahm, yeah, why not?”

“That’s the spirit!” she said, clicking away on the tablet.

Soon, the next alpha was entering the aquarium, his overall appearance still matched Izuku preferences. Blond, muscly. But once he stepped into the light and raised his face, Izuku’s heart skipped a beat.

He knew that face.

“This is Dynamight, he’s named after his unique scent of burnt nitroglycerin. Some people describe it as smoky, others think it’s sweet. It probably changes a bit accordingly to his humor. Personality-wise, well, he is also kind of explosive. He’s not recommended for multi-alpha households, but that shouldn’t be a problem for you, Mr. Midoriya, right?”

Izuku knew she was talking to him, but he couldn’t stop looking at his face. It was impossible. The alpha inside the glass looked just like Kacchan ! Which was definitely impossible, Kacchan was his childhood friend, they played superheroes at school, obviously an omega-only school! Kacchan was most definitely not an alpha. Couldn’t be.

Kacchan’s father was a beta and a teacher at their school. His mother was an omega, but he never met her, she probably worked a lot. They moved out of town suddenly without saying goodbye for some adult reason Izuku never understood as a child, and lost all contact. He didn’t keep in touch with Kacchan, and obviously wasn’t there for his omega presentation party.

“Is everything okay, Mr. Midoriya?”

“Ahm… yeah, okay, it’s just… He remembered someone I met as a kid, but it couldn’t possibly be, right?”

Nanako laughed it off because, obviously, it was impossible for an omega child to have met an alpha kid.

“Definitely not, Mr. Midoriya. Let’s ask him to talk a bit?”

Izuku shook his memories off, it’s probably his weird mind pranking him. This Dynamight alpha looked really hot, and a unique scent like his could be very appealing. He was looking forward, serious, arms on his sides, no smile so far.

“Yeah, sure. Let’s hear him.”

“Good, this is probably gonna be very interesting.”

Nanako clicked away, and soon, the alpha’s attention perked.

“Tsc, I won’t say shit.”

The alpha practically spat at them, in a low and rough voice, throwing Nanako into a barely contained giggling fit. Izuku didn’t mind it at all because he was in shock himself. This was most definitely Kacchan.

How ? How was that even possible?

Izuku couldn’t even think of a theory. He wanted to ask so many questions. The only thing that he was sure of was that Kacchan didn’t belong inside that aquarium, like some merchandise to be sold. The thought of someone buying him off, and keeping them all to themselves was atrocious. Izuku needed to get him out of there.

“This is the one. I made up my mind. Can I have him today?” Izuku rose from his seat, most definitely leaving behind the Phantom Thief sample and other files. Nanako was surprised but quickly jumped to her feet too.

“Don’t you want to sample his scent first to assure your-”

“No need.”

“Oh, okay… Am… This way, please, Mr. Midoriya.”

They moved back to the first floor, where Izuku quickly signed off on everything he needed to, never sparing a second glance to read. He made the payment and made sure they would deliver him to his apartment within the next few hours. That was not the standard procedure, but Nanako promised to make it happen.

Izuku went back to his home to wait anxiously. What the hell has he done? What was he even going to say to Kacchan? Hey, we used to be friends, now I’ve bought you. Hope it’s alright!

He shouldn’t have done it. This was definitely not gonna work. It didn’t work when they were kids, why would it now? Kacchan has always been a difficult kid, or so the teachers said. But Izuku used to follow him around because he was awesome. Very different from everyone else.

While most kids wanted to play pretend nesting, Kacchan wanted to put two beetles in a jar and watch them fight. He wanted to play soccer, and he wanted to explore the woods on the back of the school.

Izuku followed him around for all those plays, and when the teachers found them, they’d be schooled on how that was not proper omega behavior. Kacchan would answer them back and get even more time in the silent corner. Sometimes he would be made to stay there for the whole recess. Izuku hated those days.

So now what? Was he expecting to be friends again? Should he book a doctor to check on him? How could he have been an omega and now most certainly be an alpha?

And that was when the most obvious realization hit him. Kacchan had been an alpha all this time. He probably was… mistakenly enrolled in an Omega school. And that was probably the reason why they moved out so suddenly; they must have realized the mistake.

But if his father was also a teacher, how could they have made a mistake so big?

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the intercom. The building receptionist talked about an Alpha’s Prime delivery, and he said it was okay to send them up. Great, he had absolutely no plan so far.

Some minutes later, there was a polite knock on his door, so he opened it.

There was a beta guy, dressed in Prime’s uniform. He handed him a clipboard to sign. Right behind him was definitely Kacchan. He was taller than both of them, but his head was heavily cast down, prone. He was wearing generic black tennis shoes, black sweat pants, and a white shirt, with Alpha’s Prime logo, his name, and number across the chest, like a badge. And, of course, a heavy electronic collar that was required for all alphas to wear outside.

“Here’s the info on the suppressants ministered before transport, be mindful so as not to overdose.” The guy said, handing him one last piece of paper, then he made way for Kacchan and pushed him inside. The alpha easily walked in, not looking up.

Izuku closed the door and immediately went to him.

“Kacchan? hey? It’s me, Izuku.”

The alpha raised his eyes a bit slowly; his eyes looked unfocused.

“... I’m Dynamight… Pleased to meet you… your care… Sorry, these suppressants… bit drowsy… I’ll be fine in no time…”

That was most certainly not fine.

Worried, Izuku guided him to take a seat on his couch. Then he looked at the paper he was given, where it was noted that he was given a very regular minimal dosage. There must have been a mistake, he looked very dopey.

“Let me… Help you feel better, Kacchan.” Izuku reached for his collar, the alpha promptly exposing his neck like no big deal for him. Izuku tried to make it as quick as possible, positioning his thumb on the fingerprint reader for the couple of seconds required, and soon the bulky thing was off.

Izuku checked his neck, and thankfully, there were no further scent patches on him. He grabbed a glass of water, which the alpha took a sip but he didn’t seem very interested in. Maybe he’d have to wait it out.

When Izuku took a step to put the glass away, the alpha suddenly moved and held onto his hand. Izuku looked back, and Kacchan's eyes were looking up to him, like a pleading pup.

“Stay.”

Izuku wouldn’t dare to leave. He left the glass on the low table and sat beside him. The alpha promptly curled on his side, his larger size doing absolutely nothing to prevent him from laying his head on Izuku’s shoulder. Moments after getting comfy, Izuku was sure he had dozed off.

Not wanting to disturb him, Izuku managed to grab his phone from his pocket and started searching about suppressants' effects on alphas. To his shocking surprise, the list was quite lengthy: It started quite mildly with headache, nausea, mood changes, acne, hair loss, stomach pain, and most obviously, decreased libido. But it went on with chest pains, arrhythmia, dizziness, blurred vision, fainting, hypertension, change or missed rut cycles. Those were still listed as common. The uncommon ones listed were blood clots, liver failure, testicular and knot cancer, heart attack, and strokes.

Izuku immediately asked himself why the fuck people would use such terrible medicine. It was outrageous. Wasn’t UA Pharmaceutics like the best out there? How come they hadn’t made this pill safer? Weren’t all alphas supposed to be using some kind of suppressant on a daily basis? This couldn’t be right.

He searched instead for how long suppressants took to wear off. The official UA website said it varies according to body weight and dosage, but from 4 to 6 hours on average. Later on, in the result list, there was a forum with the question: “How can I make my alpha’s suppressant wear off faster?” Izuku clicked on that.

The most liked answer was “just suck them off, they should be ready to use in no time”. Izuku felt blushing at that and scrolled down. Most people agreed that if the alpha got aroused, it would wear off the quickest, but that simply scent marking them would help too.

Izuku looked down at his shoulder, where he could only see fluffy spikes of light blond hair. He leaned a bit in, trying not to disturb him, and inhaled. All he could smell was… cleanliness. They probably bathed him before bringing him. Very thoroughly.

It must feel awful to be stripped of your own scent. After a shower, Izuku would always wear some previously scented pajamas or just get back in his nest. It would be very weird to just go by not smelling like himself.

Why the hell did Kacchan end up on Alpha’s Prime, anyway? He was a very intelligent kid, Izuku remembers, he barely paid attention to anything but always aced any given test. Izuku knew that it was not common, but surely there were Alpha’s in high-paying jobs. Like that one alpha woman, secretary to the ceo of that IT corporation. It was a famous story, she was born naturally in an omega/beta household, started from the ground up in the company, and ended up being claimed by the ceo. Very touching story, an example of a high achiever alpha. It was possible.

And if there was someone who was a high achiever, that one would be Katsuki, Izuku knew that. So why? Nothing made sense.

As Izuku relaxed a bit on the couch, he managed to push out his scent a bit more, since people would always say his scent was soothing. Once Kacchan woke, they would probably talk a lot, there was too much he didn’t understand.

Chapter Text

Izuku had fallen asleep with the alpha curled up on his shoulder. Once he felt movement, he opened his eyes to the dimly lit living room, realizing the sun had already set. He shuffled a bit to sit straight as Kacchan rubbed his eyes.

When they finally looked at each other, the alpha immediately recognized Izuku. Green curls, freckles, round, big eyes, and the earthy, fresh omega scent.

“Deku?!”

“Oh, hi, Kacchan! Glad to see you woke up. I’m definitely not giving you any of those suppressants again. They are scary, right?”

Katsuki blinked twice, then stepped back, getting away from him, taking in his surroundings. Then he looked at himself, at his clothes, and realized.

“You actually fucking bought me, Deku?! Are you fucking crazy?”

Izuku's smile immediately faltered as the alpha started pacing in his living room.

“I… ahm… I… What else was I supposed to do? I saw you there and-”

“What do you mean, what else ? Anything else! You could just leave me to the next stupid fucking omega. Is this a sick joke?”

Izuku didn’t know what to do or say as the alpha found the Alpha’s Prime file with everything Izuku had signed up for right on the dining table, and started reading through it.

“There must be something here about returns, right? A time window you can just… fucking cancel everything.”

Izuku did not understand what was happening, but this reaction was definitely not what he expected. He stood from the couch and went to him, reaching for his arm. “Kacchan, I don’t think that-”

“Don’t fucking call me that.” He snapped at him. “And take your damm hands away from me.”

Izuku stepped back, recoiling his hands to himself, but not being able to hold back the tears that started to flow. He silently watched as Katsuki read through page after page, until he seemingly found what he was looking for.

“Here. You have 24 hours to send me back, no fees applied if you get yourself another alpha.”

Izuku didn’t move, even as Katsuki shoved the contract in his face.

“Come on, where’s your fucking phone?”

The alpha went back to the couch, throwing pillows around until he found the device. He grabbed it and put it on Izuku’s hand, urging him to make the call. He started crying harder.

“... Jesus fucking christ…” Katsuki almost growled, stepping away and taking deep breaths. “Look, the sooner you make the call, the sooner we can undo this mess. What time is it now anyway?”

Katsuki walked around to the open kitchen area, where he found a clock on the wall.

“It’s past 7 pm already. What time did they bring me in? I just had lunch when they called for me, so probably right after noon, then like an hour later they started prepping me and… so probably like 4 pm? There’s probably a receipt with the time, isn’t there?”

And Katsuki was back to check the papers and look for the information he needed, and all Izuku could do was grab his phone with too much force. This was so very wrong.

“Stop, Kacc-Katsuki… Just for a second, please . I don’t understand what’s happening…”

“We’re on a time frame here, Deku. If you’re gonna keep the water works, I must know how long we have for you to make the call. Who knows what contractual bullshit they will pull on you if you miss the return window, and…”

“... but I don’t want to return you…”

“... I’m not about to just stay around to find out because, I don’t fucking know, you cried yourself to sleep and missed it. That sounds like a pretty possibly stupid thing you’d do, doesn’t it? Here, there is a time stamp, 4:25-”

“I will not return you!!”

Izuku was not one to shout. That was definitely not something an omega should do. But here he was, and it definitely got the result he needed. Katsuki stopped rattling the papers and looked at him. His crimson eyes were suddenly furious.

In a couple of fast strides, the alpha was on him, a firm hand on his collar, gnarling at his face.

“What the fucking fuck , Deku?! Want me to give you a proper reason to? Cause I fucking will!”

Izuku held on to him, feeling his feet almost leaving the ground, at the same time, he could finally smell the alpha’s scent. Something sweet, but definitely burning. Enraged. Disappointed.

“Put me down!” Izuku hissed back, trying to loosen Katsuki’s hands from his shirt. “Let’s talk , and if you still want to go back, I promise I’ll let you!”

Katsuki didn’t let him go immediately, but held his eyes on his, as if trying to assess if he was telling the truth. Izuku didn’t know what he saw, but soon enough, the alpha let him go, letting him stumble back, falling seated on the couch.

“Then fucking talk, Deku. I’m sure if you call them before 9 pm, they can still pick me up tomorrow morning.”

Izuku used the moment to take a breath, the alpha still pretty much pacing through the living room. He wasn’t scared of him, but, well, there had been what… fifteen years? People could change a lot in that kind of time. So probably he should be scared, but he still wasn’t. He was much bigger and stronger, but he was still Kacchan.

“Let’s… stay calm, okay?”

“Yeah. I’m fucking peachy.”

“Why don’t you… Take a seat?”

“Because I don’t fucking want to, okay?”

“Okay, okay, fine! Do whatever.”

Katsuki purposefully paced around some more, only to then just plop down on the armchair on the opposite side of the living room. They kept silent for a few moments until Izuku finally spoke.

“So… Ahm… How have you been?”

Katsuki only blinked at him.

“What do you mean?”

“What do you mean by what I mean? How have you been all these years? We used to be friends, then you left. Never heard of you again.”

Katsuki scoffed.

“You can’t be serious. This is indeed a joke, right?”

“I’m deadly serious.”

And he tried to look deadly serious. Izuku didn’t know if it was working, since he’d been crying, and his very omega features were not very suitable to convey how very serious he was. But somehow Katsuki gave in and explained.

“You rattled me off to school, and they got rid of me and my father. They fucking pressed charges, stupid Deku. Old man spent two fucking years in jail for it.”

“Wait, what?”

“Seriously, Deku, did you grow up to be even more stupid? Can’t fucking believe you.”

Izuku tried to put the information together, but nothing made sense.

“Kacc-Katsuki, I… I found out that you’re an alpha this very afternoon. The moment you stepped on that glass room thing, I thought it must be a look-alike or something. But then you talked and… well, I couldn’t deny anymore that it was definitely you. All this time, I had no idea that you’re not an omega.”

“So you’re even more stupid than I remembered.”

“Stop saying I’m stupid and fucking explain it to me!”

Izuku raised his voice again and immediately flinched at his own anger. Katsuki smirked.

“Very omega of you, cursing like that. Your mommy must be so proud.”

“What does my mom have to do with any of this?”

“I don’t know, you tell me.”

Izuku took a deep breath. This couldn’t be possible. So let’s just review the facts he remembered. He and Katsuki were enrolled in a omega-only school, where his father, a beta, was a teacher. So far, nothing out of the norm. Plenty of omegas married betas and had omega children.

He remembered coming to school one day and not finding Kacchan. The teacher told him his family had moved away. He remembered crying and struggling to fit in with the other kids for weeks.

But before that, what was their last day? They used to play outside a lot. Did something out of the ordinary happen?

“Bursting your two brain cells, Deku? Be careful or you're gonna end up with none.”

Izuku ignored his teasing and asked.

“What do you mean by I rattled you? What happened?”

“You seriously don’t fucking remember? The day my whole life was ruined, and you don’t even remember?”

Izuku’s clueless face was enough for Katsuki to speak.

“We were outside, playing some superhero shit. You wanted so bad to be the hero, I let you be the hero, of course, everything for little Deku. So I did my best to be the baddest villain out there. And what villains do, shitty Deku?”

Izuku was still clueless. He still didn’t remember that specific day. They played superheros a lot.

“I don’t know, they steal? Hurt people?” Izuku guessed.

Katsuki stood from his chair and got close, caging Izuku with his much bigger arms to make his point clear.

“They fucking growl, Deku.” He said, growling . “In every piece of movie, cartoon, anything, the villain is always an alpha. Turns out little Katsuki, aged 7, figured out how to growl that very morning, what a stupid mistake.”

The memory started to get back to Izuku. It was a super funny day, they played a lot with Katsuki's newfound ability. And Izuku, he… never told about it to any teacher. Why would he?

“I never rattled you, Kacchan, I wouldn’t even know what that meant. We were having fun!”

“You don’t remember the day, how can you remember not telling?”

Izuku didn’t have an answer to that.

“Good, now that we ended our talk, let’s get on that phone.” He stepped away and crossed his arms. Huge ass arms.

“No, I’m positively sure I didn’t talk to anyone about it. Why would I?”

“Jesus Christ, as if you needed any reason to babble off like crazy. You probably even make notations about it on one of your crazy ass notebooks.”

Izuku couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t possibly have, could he? The worst part was that he was not so sure anymore. Katsuki was right, he talked a lot, and wrote a lot.

“I… I don’t know… I…I could have… I don’t remember though.”

Katsuki paced around for a bit and then got back to the armchair at the opposite side.

“The plan was very simple. I’d study at the omega school for as long as I could pass for an omega child, while my folks would bust their assess off working to pay for a less shitty alpha school down the road. Those are really tough to get into, if you don’t know, but with the education I was getting at the omega school I’d ace any test. It was just going to be one more year.”

Izuku stayed silent, taking it in.

“They don’t do chromosome tests on kids to enroll them at school, they just look at the parents. If one of them is an omega, it’s all fine. And yeah, the old hag is an alpha through and through, but with my father working there, it was kind of easy to just… well, make a mistake on the form.”

“Turns out that trying their best to ensure their pup had a mildly decent future is a fucking crime. Mom even had to lie, to say that she was not involved with my father anymore and didn’t know any of it, or they’d put her to fucking Tartarus. It was a fucking shit show.”

And after a dramatic pause, Katsuki added:

“So there, that's how I have been. What about you?”

Izuku wanted to cry. This couldn’t be true. This shouldn’t be true.

“Good catch-up. Can we get on with the phone call now, Deku?”

“I didn’t rattle you.” It was all Izuku knew. He couldn’t possibly have.

“Whatever. Just let’s move on. I'd rather be bought by a creep scent collector than have to look at your stupid face every day.”

That was it. Izuku had no further arguments.

Slowly, he reached for his phone and made the call. Not surprisingly, Alpha’s Prime attendee was very helpful and quickly guided him through the process. Someone was going to pick “Dynamight” back the next morning, very early. They even offered an emergency line if he felt by any means threatened by the alpha. He politely denied and scheduled to meet Nanako again the next week.

“Done.” He said when the call was finally over.

“Good.”

Izuku didn’t know what to do with himself, so he started to be useful.

“There is a guest bedroom over there for you to sleep, and you’ll find all you need in the bathroom. I’ll just…. heat a casserole for us to eat. I’ll let you know when it’s done.”

Katsuki didn’t need to be told twice. He rose and went straight to the said bedroom, closed the door behind him.

Izuku took deep breaths, trying to control the tears that started to fall again. This whole story was awful . He couldn’t imagine a kid like Kacchan, ripped from his dad and all that he knew, just because of his sex. Yes, what his father did was not right, but… two years in jail? A preschool teacher? Was that really necessary?

Could he even get back to work after that? The omega schools Deku was enrolled in would never hire a teacher with a record, which would be a major scandal.

Katsuki never told what his mom did, but… If they were in need of money, she probably worked jobs alphas often do, like at factories, as contractors, or farming. Izuku couldn’t really think of anything else.

There were famous alphas, the ones chosen to be with omega celebrities. Like the pop singer Hawks, who, every now and then, gets himself a new alpha to showcase. They are often really sexy and are selected to appeal to the omega audience. Hawks (and other celebrities) also parade their alphas on galas, red carpets, always wearing high fashion.

There were also alphas in sports. Those were trained to the bones, and their coaches who actually got famous. It was the omega coach, the one to be credited by having selected the pieces of his team. There were also the fighting games, but those were so violent that the regular media didn’t cover them, so Izuku had almost no info on them.

And of course, there were many alphas in households, acquired from services like Alpha’s Prime. Those usually just have to be there for their omegas, mostly during heats, but ended up being part of the family.

All Mighty was part of his family, and he looked happy.

Was he tough?

Izuku let his head fall into his hand as he realized he had no idea of All Might’s name. Real name. Like, Katsuki wasn’t really Dynamight, All Might probably wasn’t his persona. He felt utterly disgusted at himself by that.

His mom got All Might from Alpha’s Prime right after his father left. They used to have another alpha, together as most omega couples do, but when his dad left, he decided to take her with him. Izuku didn’t remember her, not her name or face.

His father didn’t try to reach out to him, as Izuku never bothered to contact him either. So All Might was his father figure. But was he, though?

Izuku walked around his own living room, where he had a picture from his presentation party. He was twelve and he was really happy, all dressed up in a cute tuxedo.

In the picture, there was his mom, a bunch of his classmates from school, like Ochako and Tsuyu. It was celebrated at his own house. All Might should have been there, but… he was not in the picture. And to think now, Izuku remembers seeing him only afterwards, when all the guests had left.

“Congratulations, Young Midoriya!” he used to say as he ruffled his hair. “Did you have fun?”

“Yeah! Wanna see the presents I got?!”

“Sure! Let’s ask your mom if we can open them!”

“Mom, mom, mom! Can we open the gifts?”

His mom left the kitchen where she was probably putting something away and smiled fondly.

“Sure, baby! All Might, can you clean the backyard while we’re at it?”

“I’m on it!”

“Weeee! Gifts! Gifts! Gifts!”

Izuku wanted to punch himself. How much more could his memories betray him? Was he as stupid as Katsuki said?

The omega went to his fridge, got a half-eaten chicken casserole from inside it, and put it in the oven. Forgot to pre-heat like always, but whatever.

Then, he got his phone and made a call.

“Hey, baby! I was about to call you! How was your Alpha picking? We should celebrate! My baby is so grown up…”

His mom picked up the phone very quickly, as usual.

“Hey, Mom. I… I actually don’t want to talk about that yet. Can I ask you something from when I was a kid?”

His mom suddenly sounded preoccupied.

“What happened, Zu? Didn’t you find one you liked? That’s pretty normal, if you book another day they they’ll have more options, and…”

“Mom, I meant it. There’s something I need to know if you remember.”

“Ahm… Okay. I’ll try my best. What do you want to know, baby?”

Izuku took a deep breath and asked.

“Remember when I was a kid, I had this friend from school I called Kacchan?”

His mom stayed silent.

“Mom?”

“Ahm, darling, what’s this about? It’s been so long, how can I remember all of your classmates…”

“It’s not all of them, Mom. You must remember, Kacchan and I, we were best friends for… I don’t know, from 4 to 7 years old, I think? His father was a teacher at the same school, remember?”

His mom was silent again. It was getting on his nerves.

“Mom?!”

“Yes, Izuku, I remember them. They… moved away in the middle of the year, if I’m not mistaken. That’s what you wanted to know?”

“No, I want to know why they moved away. Do you happen to know the reason?”

“Of course I don’t, darling, we were not close by any means and-”

“I was.”

“Was what?”

“Close to them. Close to Katsuki. I cried for weeks after he left.”

Inko stayed silent once again. Two could play that game, so he waited. She finally broke on the other side.

“I… I don’t know what you expect me to say, Izuku. I… I… should have reached out? I don’t know, you’re a kid, you’re bound to make new friends, right? And you did! I’m so proud of you and-”

“Oh, mom, shut up, please.”

Izuku!? ” Of course, she was outraged by his cursing at her.

“Answer me straight, mom. Did you know Kacchan was an alpha?”

“An alpha ?! At an omega school? How come?!”

“Yes or no, Mom. Please , just answer me.”

Then came the silence again. He waited. She started crying. He waited more. Some time later, she finally spoke.

“I… I had my suspicions, Izuku. He was… very brute. Your knees were always scraped, once you even got bitten by god forbid what, you said you were playing adventures in the woods with Kacchan . What omega would play those kinds of things?”

“Omegas like me, Mom. I am an omega, as you may know, and I was playing it.”

“But it couldn’t have been your idea, baby. I knew it was not. And then, one day, you came telling me how cool it was that Kacchan knew how to growl . You were amazed and I was terrified. You even asked me to teach you , and when I told you I couldn’t do it, you asked All Might. Of course, I forbade him to show you such a thing, and you kept the whole dinner making those awful noises. I immediately called the school. Why on earth did my son want to learn how to growl out of all things!”

“So it was really you.”

“Me what? If they ended up realizing that there was a criminal scheme going on at school to allow for an alpha kid to study at an omega school, that was good riddance. A teacher doing that, nonetheless. What a bad example for the kids. All parents were really glad it was solved out really quickly.”

It was Izuku’s turn to be silent.

“Izuku? Are you there? Why did you want to know these things? It’s been years…”

“His dad was sent to jail for two whole years . Do you think that was fair?”

“Well, he was doing something wrong, and people who go against the law must pay for their acts, and-”

“Oh, fuck you.”

Izuku finally shut the call off. He wanted to throw his phone from a window. Soon, his mom started calling him back, so he shut it down altogether. Before he could think of anything, the oven was beeping.

Izuku took the casserole out on the kitchen island, alongside two plates and cutlery.

“Food is ready!” he said after knocking lightly twice on the guestroom door. He waited for some kind of answer, but got nothing. Well, if the person responsible for ruining his life was offering him food, he wouldn’t answer too.

He retreated to the kitchen and sat on one of the benches to eat. Katsuki wouldn’t probably come out, why would he want to eat with him anyway? He’d probably stay in his room, leave in the morning to never see him again.

As stupid as it must sound, Izuku still didn’t want that to be the truth. The thought of Katsuki back on that aquarium, showcasing himself for some rich omega who happens to own five other alphas was disgusting. Not to mention the way he was when he got there, completely dozed off by suprassants.

Izuku knew most alphas were on suppressants on a daily basis, even All Might was. There was no way to know if whoever bought him wouldn’t keep him like that. Hadn’t he read the news about someone’s alpha dying due to a high dosage? If Katsuki was dopey like that with just the minimum required for relocation, imagine what they would do to him to prevent his rut-

The guest bedroom door opened. The alpha was wearing the same clothes as before, just his shirt was now inside out. Totally white, no logo or tag visible, only the seams. He silently walked towards the kitchen, sat on the bench, and grabbed the spoon to serve himself.

“Your shirt is inside out.”

“Brilliant observation skills.”

Okay, so it was on purpose.

Katsuki took his first bite, then started opening random cabinets in his kitchen.

“Don’t you have a fucking pepper sauce? This shit is bland as fuck.”

“Oh… I don’t. I’m sorry.”

Katsuki huffed.

“You’re sorry, huh?”

“Yes. I am sorry.”

“For not having a pepper sauce.”

“Yes.” Izuku agreed. “And everything else.”

“As if it changes anything.”

“I know it couldn’t possibly change anything. But I called my mom and… She was the one who told the school.”

Katsuki just very unpolitely stuffed his mouth with chicken and cheese, preventing himself from talking.

“She told me that that day I came back from school, asking her to teach me how to growl. That I was amazed by it. Her words.”

Katsuki kept chomping.

“Then, when she told me she couldn’t, I asked her alpha to teach me. She wouldn’t allow that, so I kept trying to growl through dinner. She was scandalized by it and called the school.”

Katsuki swallowed loudly.

“It can’t possibly change anything, but I am sorry for it. Sorry for not knowing better, not now or then, and I’m sorry my mom was such a terrible person. I… can’t possibly know what your options are now, but… if what I have to offer you is any good, I promise I’ll do my best to… I don’t know, help in any way. Give you back the life you deserve.”

They both kept silent for a few moments. The air in the kitchen started to heavily mix between earthy omega, burnt sugar, and grassy chicken.

“You still really want to own me, Deku?”

Izuku cringed at that.

“I know I bought you, but it doesn’t have to be that way! You could, I don’t know, do whatever.”

Katsuki was skeptical.

“Who cleans this fucking ass apartment, Deku? Kitchen is fucking spotless and I doubt you moved your little omega finger to do it, did you?”

“No, I… I have a cleaning service. They come every other day… They also prep the meals. You don’t have to worry about anything.”

Katsuki laughed, for the first time since he arrived.

“Of course you do.”

Izuku laughed too, but just because he couldn’t help himself. He didn’t actually understand what was funny.

“So you want me to just what? Lounge on your fancy ass couch all day?”

“You could do whatever you want. There’s a gym in the building, a swimming pool… Oh, well, I don’t think alphas are allowed on the pool... probably. You could… I don’t know, did you go to college? I could afford it for you and…”

Katsuki's demeanor changed at that. He wasn’t happy by any means, but he was interested.

“And then what? You go into heat and I’m supposed to just… stay in the guest bedroom?”

Izuku felt his cheeks flush.

“I didn’t… think that part through.”

But apparently, that was not a problem for Katsuki. He kept asking for information, as a stark contrast to the conversation Izuku had with Nanako.

“Do you plan on having other alphas around?”

“No, of course not!”

“How much do you make?”

“180 grand a year.”

“Jesus fucking, christ…”

“What? I know it’s not that much, but I’ll graduate next year and-”

“Oh shut up, Deku. It’s fucking plenty. What about my documents, will you fix them all back?”

“I don’t know what there’s to be fixed, but whatever you need.”

Katsuki rolled his eyes.

“When I sold my ownership rights to Prime’s, my documents became invalid. I can’t own a property, have a bank account, nothing, I became the property. Even a fucking dog can inherit some shit from his owner, an Alpha who was bought cannot.”

Izuku was perplexed. There was indeed so much that he never spared any thought.

“Of course, Kacchan, I will definitely fix all of it.”

“Good. And I don’t want to ever use suppressants again. Especially not in rut.”

“Consider it done.”

“And I will fucking cook. This food is horrendous .”

“Deal.”

Katsuki looked at him a bit sideways, waiting for a rebuke or something that never came. So he went back to eating. Izuku reached for his phone and cancelled his return.

Chapter Text

Dinner was weird after that. But Izuku was positive that the differences between them would smooth out. Even if the time they spent apart was fundamentally different.

“What time do you go to work tomorrow?”

“Oh, tomorrow is Friday.”

“I know tomorrow is Friday, Deku.”

“So?”

Katsuki crossed his arms. “You don’t work on Fridays?”

“Of course not. Why would the bank be necessary on weekends? Well, I guess there is an IT team on call for weekends but yeah, regular people don’t work on weekends.”

Katsuki awkwardly started laughing and stood up from the table, practically throwing his plate on the sink.

“Regular people…” He muttered to himself.

“What? What is so funny?”

Izuku jumped to his feet to put away his own plate in the sink, trying to get Katsuki to explain what was so funny. The alpha just ignored him and marched to the living room. Izuku got to him as he was peeking behind his curtains.

They were pretty high, so the view was very nice. But Katsuki didn’t seem to be looking at the distance, he was searching the window frame.

“Kacchan… What did I say that was so funny? And what are you looking for?”

“Trying to open this shit a bit, no fucking air circulating here.”

“Oh. They don’t open.”

“What do you mean they don’t open?”

Izuku turned around and selected one remote control from a cluster. He pushed some buttons, and soon the AC started to vent the place.

“There. There’s one of these in each room too, if you need to change the temperature or ventilation."

Katsuki looked at the remote as it had personally offended him.

“So you have a big ass window wall, and can’t fucking breathe fresh air?”

“I… I think the AC is… fresh enough?”

“Of course you do.” The alpha rolled his eyes.

“I do have a balcony, though.”

Katsuki's interest was back on him. Izuku felt his insides go mushy every time he said something that interested him.

“It’s in my room.” And as quick as he uttered that, Katsuki was looking back to the window, interest lost. “Obviously, you can use it too!” He tried.

“I’m not fucking going to barge in your room, nerd. Just… keep that shit on, okay?”

“Sure!”

Katsuki paced around the living room again, looking stuff more carefully now, taking it in for the first time. His TV, his surround sound system, his video games, the decoration his mom chose, and…

“Are you following me?”

Izuku stopped in his tracks, almost head-butting him.

“N-no! Of course not! I’ll… leave you be.”

Mortified, Izuku ran to his bedroom and shut the door. He dived face-first into his nest, as it could make him less embarrassed. Had he suddenly unlearned how to behave as a human being?

He reached for his phone to text Ochako, and it crossed his mind that Katsuki hadn’t given him his number. He’ll need to ask for it later.

“I want mine to have a long dick so she could knot me in all these different positions and strong arms to pin me at any surface.”

“Zuku, are you there? Did I break you?”

“Text me when you’re home! Wanna know how it went.”

“Hey, I’m home.”

“Sorry I took so long, it was… well, it's complicated. I would say for us to have brunch tomorrow, but I don’t wanna leave him alone.”

“Is he already there?! Boy, that was fast! Tell me everything!!!! With pictures.”

Izuku groaned to himself. This was not going to be simple. He didn’t want to explain the whole story to her, not by text anyway. But how could he ask for advice if he didn’t?

“No pictures yet. It’s just… I feel so stupid around him.”

“It’s the blood running down to your bussy, babe. Not much left for the brains.”

“Very helpful.”

“Own I’m sorry. Didn’t get that it was a serious talk.”

“Just act normally! In the end, Alphas are only people. Hot and sexy people, but people anyway. Start being friends and soon you’ll be all over each other.”

Alphas are only people. That statement was very factual indeed. But Izuku couldn’t shake the thought that there were people and there were people

“Do you think it’s fair that we get to buy a person for ourselves?”

“Omg, Izuku. Are you high? Is this an existential crisis?”

“No, it’s just like you said, they are people, just like us. Would you like to be bought? I know I wouldn’t.”

Ochako didn’t promptly answer. Her dots started showing and then stopped. Maybe he was too harsh. He didn’t think Ochako was the most sensible person around him, certainly not one invested in politics, but fuck, what did he know? If someone asked just this morning who was the most sensible person he knew, he’d probably say his mom. And look how that turned out.

“No, I don’t think I’d like either. But, Izuku, nobody forced anyone to sell themselves, if that's what's bothering you.”

“I hear that to be on Alpha’s Prime, the candidates have to pass several tests just to start training. And many never get to finish it. How would someone pass all that if it's not something they wish?”

“It’s like a super-disputed job interview! Would you apply if you don’t want the job?”

That sounds accurate. Izuku himself had heard about how hard the selection was on Alpha’s Prime. But also, he couldn’t imagine Katsuki making this decision. Deciding that his forever job would be partnering up with a random omega. It didn’t sound like something Kacchan would do.

On the other hand, it was a pretty advantageous position, wasn’t it? The omegas who buy at Prime’s have most certainly good incomes, comfortable homes, and can provide for a comfy life. The alpha wouldn’t have to work at all, besides, of course, on tending the omega. But was that a real job if it was… a biological necessity?

Alphas needed to rut, same as omegas needed their heat, it was dangerous to continuously medically skip the cycles. Izuku knew the meds could give omegas headaches, and sooner that day, he learned that alpha’s had a list way bigger of side effects. It was definitely not something a person would be willing to risk.

And when in heat… Well, Izuku was never exposed to any real-life alpha when in heat, but he felt like just anyone would please his desperate inner omega.

And with that thought, he remembered that foul smell from Prime’s first scent sample and almost gagged just on the memory. OK, maybe not just anyone. And that brought him a very new doubt.

“I never gave any sample of my scent to Prime, how do they know the alpha I bought likes my scent?”

“Don’t be ridiculous, Zuku. You smell super fine.”

“That’s not the point! Everyone has preferences.”

“Well, now that he’s already there, just one way to find out, right?”

Izuku looked to his own closed door and pictured the brief moment they had in the living room. Katsuki was trying to open his window. Then he asked to keep the AC on at all times. Yep, he definitely hated his scent.

The alpha came in barely smelling like anything, so the only scent in the room was Izuku’s. And the casserole’s, but that doesn't count. So yeah, he was definitely trying to vent Izuku’s scent out. Making sure he could breathe fresh air.

Fuck, fuck, and fuck. How could he be so stupid? His scent is not something he can change, he definitely should have asked about it.

Feeling very conscious about his scent, Izuku went to shower. He used his best scent neutralizer everywhere, especially in his hair and neck. When he reached for his towel, he realized it was obviously heavenly scented by himself. So he picked a clean one from the bottom of the drawer.

Then he did the same for his clothes, skipping his favorite pajama, and not stepping close to his nest. He brushed his hair, feeling utterly naked despite being fully clothed. It felt really weird, but he would have to get used to it.

This was a shared home now. The living room and kitchen shouldn’t be smelling like him, he’d be extra careful so as not to cause Katsuki any further discomfort.

As ready as he could be, Izuku went to the living room to find it totally empty. It was just past 9 pm, surely Katsuki wouldn’t be asleep. Maybe if he heard the TV, he’d come out and watch something with him.

Izuku sat on the couch and made a mental note to ask for his cleaning service to deep clean his couches, so they didn’t smell like him either. He put on an action movie, not too loud but not silent either, and started watching.

Every other scene, he’d look towards the guest bedroom, expecting Katsuki to come out. But he never did. The movie ended, and Izuku barely remembered the plot. Disappointed once again, Izuku shut down the TV and headed back to his room.

Tomorrow they'll talk.

Izuku woke up feeling very warm and cozy. It was Friday, no need for an alarm clock. He stretched a bit, and suddenly he remembered Kacchan was just outside his door. Feeling very energetic, he ran to the bathroom.

As he brushed his teeth, he remembered his own vow of keeping the living room and kitchen a scent-free zone. He should shower again. But he had just done it the night before! And he wanted so badly to just go and invite Kacchan to take a stroll in the park. After that, they could go to his favorite cafe and order avocado toasts and lattes. It would be a perfect morning! He couldn’t wait.

He just took off all his clothes and picked a nice unscented one, and sprayed himself with a scent neutralizer. That should be enough since they would be leaving soon.

Izuku opened the door and immediately smelled the most delicious cake being baked. Something sweet, caramelized. Definitely hot, melting maybe. Oh, maybe it was burning a bit? It didn’t matter, Izuku would eat that cake even if it looked-

“Tired of sleeping, Deku? It’s almost noon.”

Turns out, there was no cake. Not literally.

Katsuki was sitting on the couch, drinking plain water as the TV was on some morning cooking show. He looked… well, the same. Same clothes, shirt still inside out. But his scent… oh my god . Izuku’s brain was probably permanently damaged.

“Are you still fucking sleeping?”

“I... I... no! I’m awake! I just… I…” He didn’t know what to say, but his feet moved. He got closer to the alpha and was about to inhale deeply when common sense hit him, and he shoved his own hand over his mouth and nose. “I… sorry! Just… need to sneeze.” And he proceeded to fake a sneeze, and it was the most ridiculous thing he ever did. He wanted to implode himself.

Katsuki just watched him with a questioning look.

Izuku didn’t manage to say anything else, and he felt that if he removed his hand from his nose, he wouldn’t be able to resist the urge to just…

“Are you okay ?”

Izuku just ran to the kitchen and opened the fridge, sticking his head inside. He was so pathetic. The pathetic est level there ever was certainly had his name on it.

“If you’re hungry, you’ll find all your shitty snacks and your yakults in there. Tomiko came in with your groceries, and I couldn’t believe it. Such a lazy bastard, paying for someone to do your groceries.”

Izuku heard him talk, right beside the fridge door. He needed to look normal, act like a functional human being. He took another deep breath inside the fridge, realizing that, yeah, his yakults were all there, he grabbed one for emotional support, and finally raised his head.

“You mean Mrs. Takeda?”

“Yeah, Tomiko.”

Izuku was puzzled.

“You’re on first-name basis with my cleaning lady?”

Katsuki just shrugged.

“She’s cool. Got here like 6 am. Helped her put away the groceries and move stuff around.”

Izuku walked away, opening up his yakult, smelling it. Why was Katsuki awake at the crack of dawn?

“So… Besides that, do you have any plans for today?” He tried to be nonchalant about it, but to do so while sipping a Yakult was damn hard.

“That was what I was going to ask. I made you a list.”

Katsuki went to the kitchen island and picked up the little notepad he uses mostly to scribble lists for Mrs. Takeda.

“Here.”

Izuku took the pad and saw surprisingly beautiful handwriting. Much neater than his own. It read:

- 2 black shirts, size L

- 2 sweatpants, size M

- a running shoes, size 11
- 5 boxer briefs, size M

- black hoodie, size LL

- socks

“You… want me to get you this stuff?”

“Yeah.”

“Why?”

“What do you mean, why? Did you already forget you decided not to send me back? You pay someone to do your fucking groceries and now you wanna cheapskate on this ?”

“What? No!! I just… I don't understand. These are pretty basic. Didn’t they bring your stuff with you? Is it delayed? I can call them and ask where it is.”

Katsuki took a step back, his hand ran through his hair, and then he face-palmed himself, and laughed.

Izuku gulped the rest of his Yakult. He couldn’t take it. His rough laugh was going to kill him.

“Deku, I know it’s hard for your little omega brain to grasp the reality of the world around you. But I already told ya, didn’t I? I can’t own shit. I fucking belong to you now, and I don’t have any fucking belongings. They didn’t send me in naked ‘cause you fucking paid an extra fee for these clothes!”

Izuku was speechless. He opened his mouth to say something, then closed it.

“And I’m gonna need a new collar. Rather chop my dick off than wear that bulky thing again. Your janitor said I wasn’t supposed to be in the gym without it. He was cool about it cause I didn’t know, but I doubt that excuse will be okay next time.”

Izuku’s brain was having a hard time keeping up. He was positively sure he never met the building janitor, not even once. He had just woken up, and the alpha had already done so many things.

“You… went to the gym?”

“Yeah.”

That explained why he was smelling so fucking delicious. Oh, but wait.

“Did you shower?”

“Of course, you think I’m a slob?”

Oh god, so this was his regular scent just for being in the room for longer. Izuku needed to get the fuck out.

“Okay, let’s just buy the stuff you need.” Izuku turned to the door, quickly opening it to leave like he was being chased.

“Wait! You want me to come with you?”

“Of course! Let’s go!”

“I can’t go without a collar, Deku. I don’t have any documents! How many times do I have to tell you?”

Izuku remembered him saying he would rather chop his dick off than put on the thing they brought him in on, and that was definitely not something Izuku was going to risk. He ran to his bedroom, fetched a scarf, and messily covered the alpha’s neck.

Katsuki stood still as a statue for the whole ordeal, and didn’t move even after Izuku finished and was over the door.

“Come on, let’s go! Nobody will know!”

Izuku may not have realized, but the scarf was very much scented. Katsuki's cheeks were flushed when he finally started walking.

“This is… serious, Deku. I could be arrested.” Katsuki said, voice very mellowed out, as they reached the elevator.

“Don’t worry. We’ll just go straight to the mall. We can get the collar first and then look for everything else. Okay?”

The elevator opened, and they stepped in, Izuku quickly punching the button to the garage level. Katsuki didn’t say anything else as they got to his car, following him just a few steps behind.

He turned the AC on before even starting the car. Priorities first. As they started moving, Katsuki started messing with the radio. Izuku didn’t actually know any radio stations since he always plugged his phone's bluetooth to it. He stopped when he found one playing some old pop-rock songs.

“So, hm… Do you… know what kind of collar you'd rather have?”

Probably not the best small talk subject, but whatever.

“One that doesn’t fucking choke me would be nice.”

In a brief look to his side, Izuku saw that he had his face inside the scarf. Cute.

“Well, that should be a given. I mean, I've seen really pretty ones. With jewelry, or whatever. But I guess those depend on the occasion, right? Maybe you'd rather have a simple one…”

“I don’t care what it looks like. Once you get my docs back, I won’t have to use it anymore.”

“Hmm, yeah.”

Izuku had no idea how he was gonna do that, but he most certainly would. Giving his documents back would mean he is not a property anymore and… well, he wouldn't belong to him any longer. Would he just… leave?

They arrived at the mall, and Izuku parked the car in an underground garage. Again, as they walked to the door, Katsuki followed him a few steps behind. When they started to cross paths with other people, he realized they got closer, almost bumping their elbows. Izuku felt his cheeks flush, thinking that all these people knew that he had such a gorgeous alpha by his side. They probably think they have already done all sorts of things and would envy him. He felt giggly on the inside.

“Do you know where you’re going, Deku?”

The rough voice plucked him from his thoughts.

“Oh, right. Ahm… Let’s see where we should go. Maybe that store?”

“Whatever, just pick one.”

Turns out there wasn’t a specific collar store at the mall. There were jewelry stores, and there were brands that sold it as matching accessories. Those were mostly too colorful or sparkly.

“Maybe there.” Katsuki pointed out an electronics store.

Collars always had GPS trackers and electronic buckles, so yeah, that could be a good place to look for a daily use one. They entered the store, and a beta vendor promptly greeted Izuku.

“Hello sir! How may I help you today?”

“Oh, hello! Ahm… He’s looking for a new collar.” Izuku answered, indicating that Katsuki was actually the customer.

“Great! You came to the right place. This way! We just got brand new launches from Pear and Sumsang. Do you have a preferred brand?”

She walked them through the store to the correct section and Izuku just fell a bit behind, checking the new phones. Oh, Katsuki couldn’t own anything so he didn’t own a phone either? That was crazy. He should get him one too.

“Sir, you want to check the phones too? I’ll be happy to show you the latest models and…”

“Oh, ahm, thank you. Don’t worry about me, you guys can go ahead.”

The vendor seemed confused at that.

“Hm, sir?”

“He meant he’ll get me whatever I choose.” Katsuki explained, walking towards the collar shelves, passing through the vendor who stayed beside Izuku.

“Oh, okay. Do I help you with anything else, Sir?”

Izuku looked up from the phone to see that Katsuki was looking at the collars by himself, and would probably need some help to choose. Why didn’t she go help him?

“Ahm, no, I’m fine. I know my way around the latest phones pretty much, but… Could you help him choose? I don’t really know anything about collars.”

“You want me to… help your alpha choose his own collar?”

“Yeah, please.”

The vendor looked a bit awkward at that, but then proceeded to approach Katsuki. He didn’t plan on eavesdropping, but yeah, he could hear perfectly fine. She pointed out that the one he was looking at was very slim, but didn’t have the fingerprint reader. She clearly had some kind of sales pitch memorized, and then she messed up every time she’d say “your alpha” and had to correct herself.

They ended up getting away from the launch session and selecting one way less fancy. It was a thin chain with a dog tag-like pendant. It was far from the military counterpart, but the inspiration was obvious. The tag was clear and had the fastest fingerprint reader available. It would open instantly upon touch. It also had all the GPS and security stuff legally required for a collar. Izuku had no complaints about his choice.

“Let’s grab a phone too, since we are here.”

“Oh, right away sir! We have here the newest models for alphas, they have native control access and-”

She started to showcase to him some of the shelf dumb phones, so he immediately interrupted her.

“What? No, just… Kacchan, are you used to Sumsang phones? They have this new one that folds in half. I think it’s pretty cool.”

“I, yeah. Okay.”

“We’ll get one of those then, with a new number, and the collar.”

“Sure, right away.”

The vendor quickly began moving, leaving them alone for a moment.

“So, that was easy enough.” Izuku managed to say. Katsuki didn’t look very comfortable.

“Yeah. Don’t know if I can just… wear it right away.”

“Oh, why not?”

Katsuki breathed heavily.

“It has to be in a size I won't be able to remove through my head, dumbass. They are usually bigger, you need to clip some links off. Maybe we should just go home and get the other stuff online.”

Izuku’s ears perked at him, referring to his apartment as home, but it was better not to mention it.

“I’m sure no one will measure it, Kacchan. We can have it adjusted at another time. If we buy online it will probably take a couple of days to arrive, and you need those things, right?”

“If you’re so sure. I just don’t want to piss off an entitled mall security or something.”

“Oh, they are usually super nice, don’t worry about it.”

“Nice to you.”

“Hm?”

“Here, it's all set up! Just need you to sign these. The collar must be set up before using too, the instructions are all inside. Let’s check out?”

“Sure.”

Izuku paid for everything and then he had to convince Katsuki he could just throw the collar on, without setting it up. If he was wearing it no one would bother them. The alpha was strangely preoccupied on following the rules properly, which spoke highly of himself but… sounded a bit uptight to Izuku. Go figure. He put it on and that was what matters.

Their next stop was running shoes and Izuku found a vendor with similar weird behavior. They were reluctant to consider Katsuki as their customer, always asking him what he thought of said options.

“I’m done with these vendors today, let’s go to one of those bigger stores with self checkout. Is that okay?”

Katsuki didn’t seem picky about the brands so they went to one of those large department stores at the very end of the mall. Their clothes were targeted male and female, and on the back there was an alpha section, in a weird isolated part.

Izuku was confused when Katsuki just started browsing shirts in the male section. He went for the ones with no stamps or with very minimalistic ones, and was for some reason reading their labels.

“What’s with that alpha section?” He innocently asked.

Katsuki huffed. “Go there and check. Let me know if you like anything.”

It sounded like a challenge. And Izuku was not one to back out.

He walked there and upon turning the corner he was greeted by G string thongs, see through camisoles, everything on lace lingerie, and much more. He ran away from there the moment he found a leotard mimicking the uniform of a super hero he liked to watch. With his face flushed, he found Katsuki again, inspecting the seams of some pants.

“How did that go?”

“Nope. Not talking about that. Clothes here are perfect.” He managed to say.

Katsuki laughed a bit and then they kept picking up options. Izuku suggested a few stamped shirts he liked, one with an angry yellow cat was promptly denied, unfortunately.

For pants Katsuki got two sweatpants, one black and one grey. He also got one that was just straight black, mimicking tailored pants but in a much softer and conifer fabric. It looked a bit boring, but Izuku’s taste in fashion was pretty debatable. Ochako always said that at least. Katsuki also grabbed two sports sleeveless shirts, and Izuku tried really hard not to imagine him using them.

When they had a good amount of options, they went to the fitting room. Izuku had just taken a seat right in front of it to wait, like did many times with his mom, when Katsuki turned back, walking away from it.

“Alpha’s fitting room is not here.” He said bummed.

“Oh, I didn’t know it was a different one. Where is it then?” He promptly stood back, following Katsuki.

“Where do you think?”

Izuku had no idea but looking ahead he realized they were walking toward that damn sex shop like alpha section.

“Oh god, really?”

“Really.”

They both entered bravely walking side by side with all kinds of lingerie and see through fabrics, there was even an accessory session with body chains, fake piercings, dumb collars, and oh my god, leashes?!

Politely and making minimal visual contact, Katsuki checked in with the person responsible for the fitting room while Izuku had no idea what to do with himself. There wasn’t a waiting part for him to sit like the other fitting room, he had to just keep standing besides a… police costume?!

“Sir?”

“Yeah?!” Izuku almost freaked out upon being called.

“Fitting room number 2.”

“What?”

“The fitting room.” The beta guy repeated, getting out of patience.

“Good. I.. I’ll wait here.”

“Sir, we can’t have an unsupervised alpha in the fitting rooms.”

Oh, so that’s why. “Yeah, I totally knew that.” Izuku awkwardly smiled and followed Katsuki inside. Thankfully it was very silent, probably no more customers inside. Fitting room two was the only one with the curtain pulled shut. The flimsy thing didn't actually close the space, leaving large gaps on each side. Izuku accidentally saw the spence of Katsuki's back and quickly turned to face the other way.

“They said I had to accompany you… I’ll just wait here.”

“It’s ok, most are the same size, don’t have to try on everything.”

Izuku hummed in agreement and tried to take his mind out of the fact that Katsuki was probably half naked just there. They hadn’t picked any briefs yet, not that he was going to try on those. This weird alpha action probably had some normal looking briefs, he hoped. Regular briefs couldn’t be comfortable for an alpha, could they? Why were his briefs just briefs and alpha briefs were alpha briefs? Who decided that? His mind was occupied with those very important questions, so he didn’t see the other people coming into the fitting room.

“Excuse me, sir.”

“Right, sorry.”

Izuku promptly scooted out of the way to let a petite omega boy walk past him on the small corridor. But after him, comes this super tall and corpulent alpha guy. No way he was going to manage to walk by Izuku without smashing his face on his body. Izuku took one second to realize he should just go inside any of the empty fitting rooms, but it was too late. Katsuki had already grabbed him by the scruff like a kitten and pulled him inside his fitting room.

“Oh, thanks, I…”

Katsuki was currently shirtless. He was wearing grey sweatpants hanging low on his hips, and the tag on the collar shimmered right above his chest. And yes, Izuku had already seen him shirtless, but it was through a glass wall and he was too shocked to appreciate it.

Right now they were inside the minuscule fitting room, and Izuku could swear the temperature inside it was at least 10 degrees higher. Yes, he should look higher, to his eyes. Not to the V shaped abs going inside his pants. Higher than his full pectorals and strong shoulders. Eyes! Look him in the eyes, Izuku!

An white shirt with the seams inside out suddenly blocked his view.

“Think we’re done here, Deku. I’ll take these ones.”

They left the fitting room, grabbed some (alpha’s) boxer briefs packs and some socks on the way to self checkout. The whole process was barely enough to make Izuku stop thinking about Katsuki’s physique.

“I’m starving… Let’s eat something!”

Katsuki just shrugged and started following Izuku to the food court. The omega was chirply choosing between different fast food chains, without any other care in his mind, while Katsuki followed him around, carrying all the shopping bags.

“I think I’m feeling the need for some sushi. What do you think, Kacchan? Kacchan?”

Izuku turned himself around looking for the alpha, only to find two teenaged omega girls quite literally cornering him.

“... smell really nice, let me try closer!”

“No, I..”

“Don’t be stupid with her! She just wants to check you out a bit!”

“But I don’t want to-”

“It’s a compliment! You should be grateful that I’m interested!”

“HEY! What the hell is going on here?!”

Both girls stopped on her tracks, looking back at Izuku. They were no older than fifteen years old. Katsuki most promptly dodged and got away from them.

“We’re just talking.” One of them said, innocently.

“You should put some nicer clothes on your alpha, old man, we thought he was lost. Just trying to help.” The other said, smiling wickedly.

“No, you fucking didn’t. You’re just-”

“Enough, Deku. Let’s get away from here.” Katsuki simply stood in front of him, blocking his view and pushing him to walk to the other side. “Let’s eat at home.”

“But they were saying-”

“I know, and I don’t care. It’s not worth it. Let’s go.”

Izuku took a deep breath of Katsuki’s sweet and masculine scent, and that made him agree promptly. He almost regretted letting them go when he heard them mocking that he was taking orders from his alpha. Kids these days are impossible.

When they got back to the car, Izuku’s stomach was rumbling. They ended up in a take out place, and then back home. Katsuki’s scent in the living had been almost fully neutralized by the AC when they came. Which was good, but also a shame.

They ate noodles while setting up Katsuki’s collar and the new foldable phone and testing its features. The collar was pretty straightforward, they had to put Katsuki’s data from Alpha’s Prime, and Izuku’s information, such as social security number and address. Izuku got a notification on his phone and had to authorize the connection with the collar through it. After that they were all good, they just had to pluck the links to adjust the size.

Katsuki did it basically himself. He selected one of the links to attach it, and tried to push it through his head to make sure it wouldn't go. Then Izuku plucked the leftover links with a small tool they sent together in the box.

“Done!” Izuku was pretty happy with what he did.

“Great, now take it out, please.”

“Oh, sure.”

Izuku touched on the tag and the chain immediately dropped. Katsuki looked relieved it was gone. After a brief awkward moment, they turned their attention to the new phone. They started messing with the folding positions and even took a selfie together to test out the camera.

“Put my number in there and send it to me, please!”

“You’re not gonna post me online, are you?”

“No! Of course not. Just… send to a friend? Can I? Pretty please!”

“Yeah, sure. What’s your friend like?”

They started talking about Ochako, then about Tsuyu, and then about Todoroki Shouto, who was his colleague at the bank. Izuku admired him very much because they were the same age but he was already a senior in the same position.

“Todoroki like the chairwoman Rei Todoroki?”

Izuku blinked twice.

“I… don’t know?”

“You don’t know if they are relatives or you don’t know her?”

“Both?” Izuku laughed weirdly.

Katsuki rolled his eyes and researched the Todorokis on his new phone and handed it to him.

Rei Todoroki was a prominent chairwoman who advocated for more restricted laws against alpha criminals, and was even pitching the construction of Tartarus II. According to her, the facility was already overcrowded and they needed more space. Her most recent controversial statement was about defanging alphas aged 18, before they could do any harm.

Clicking on the image search, there it was, an old family picture. Her, alongside three obviously omega children. Izuku immediately recognized Shouto as the youngest. He was still a little kid, and didn’t have his scar yet.

“Her first born was an alpha.” Katsuki told him. “She goes to that sick church of the omega god nonsense, and they convince her he was a curse. That she had to dedicate her life to purify the world or someshit. You seriously never heard of this?”

Izuku wanted to say that he had, because it sounded absurd that a person like her was chairwoman. But the truth was he never cared much for politics. He read the news headlines sometimes, wasn’t it enough?

“Shouto, he’s… not like that.”

“Sure. But now you know why he’s a senior.” Katsuki winked at him, and left to put the takeout containers in the trash.

Without having an answer to that, Izuku followed Katsuki around to the living room couch, and asked him about his friends.

“I had one friend at school, Eijirou. But I lost contact after getting to Prime’s.”

“How long have you been there for?”

“Two years.”

That long?!”

“It’s actually a very short period. The average time of allocation is four to five years.”

“And what do you do there? All this time?”

“We lounge, get massages, read.”

“Really?” Izuku was very pleasantly surprised. That didn’t sound so bad.

But Katsuki immediately laughed.

“God, Deku, you're so naive. Of course not, we fucking worked. There was training and classes sometimes, but we had to work. Every Prime building has these huge factories inside, most are like micro chips assemblies and stuff. They call it the “Reciprocate System”. We work for them, they find omegas interested in us.”

“That…. doesn't sound so bad, was it?”

“Deku, you gotta start looking at the bigger picture. To join Prime we sell our owning rights. After that, we’re no longer people. And human rights don’t apply to things. They don’t work us non stop only cause we’d fucking die and they wouldn’d be able to sell us in the end.”

For the upteenth time these few days, Izuku was shocked to learn more facts from Katsuki.

“Is that even… legal ?”

“Does it matter? Who in their right mind will go against Prime’s? Every single omega in the country who matters buys from them.”

Izuku felt like the world he knew was slowly shattering around him. Learning what happened to Katsuki when they were kids, that his mom was responsible for it, that the companies he trusted treated people as things to be owned, that even their chairmen and women were onboard with that thinking. And he was just… living his perfect little life, ignoring all that.

Actually, choosing to be ignorant. Because as the quick Todoroki search showed him, everything Katsuki was telling him was not something secret, it was just irrelevant to an omega like him. He felt ashamed.

He felt his eyes water as he read about the facilities inside Alpha’s Prime.

“Izuku… Are you crying?”

Katsuki scooted up close to him. He didn’t touch him, but he could scent his sweet caramel scent.

“I am… just a bit. Don’t worry.”

Izuku pushed his tears away, while Katsuki took a deep breath.

“I’m sorry for talking about this to you, but… It just enrages me that you don’t know this stuff. I’ll shut up for a change.”

“Nooo, please.” Izuku reached for his arm, pulling him closer. “I want to know, I’m just… embarrassed for not knowing, for not… caring. Now that I know you’re an alpha I keep thinking of all you’ve been through while I just… I don’t know, lived perfectly fine?”

“It’s not your fault, Deku. You could dedicate your whole life, give up everything you have for the cause, and it wouldn’t change a thing. The system works like that, and you happened to be born on a good piece of it. If you broke your own part, you’re gonna simply be broken like the rest of us.”

“Then what? There is nothing no one can do? I should just ignore the fact that every Prime building has hundreds of people working without any payment?”

Izuku felt the tears scrolling down, but Katsuki was quick to brush one of them with his thumb.

“I can tell you a secret about that, but you have to promise you won't tell that Todoroki friend of yours.”

“I promise.”

“You’re very quick to promise stuff, aren’t you?” Katsuki smiled.

Izuku laughed a bit, holding up his tears.

“It’s just… It’s you, Kacchan, I can’t deny you anything.”

Katsuki smirked at that. Izuku didn’t realize the implications of that phrase before saying it.

“Let’s hold that thought about not denying me anything for later, okay? I’ll probably want to revisit it.”

“Oh, shut up. What are you, twelve?”

“Belive me, I was waaay worse at twelve.”

Izuku laughed and cried a little more. He missed twelve year old Kacchan. He missed so many years with Kacchan. It was never coming back.

“There is this group me and Eiji used to go to before going to Prime. It's like a labour union, but they call it some dumb association name because all alphas are automatically associated with the government sanctioned labour union that is full bullshit.”

“If I tell you I don’t know what a labor union does, will you be mad?”

“I’m never mad at you, Deku.”

“Yes, you were! Don’t lie!”

Katsuki smiled and it made Izuku's heart skip a bit.

“A little mad maybe, but never like mad mad .”

“Hmm.. Okay.”

“To explain the union is… complicated. Think of a bunch of people who already understand that they are in a broken part of the system. They get together to discuss how to… well, break everything else.”

“I don’t get it.”

“To overthrow the current government system, Deku. A coup. Civil war. Whatever it takes.”

Izuku’s tears had stopped before that, but now? Upon hearing those words, he couldn’t hold them back.

“Nooo, Kacchan… That’s… That’s nuts ! What do you mean war ? No, nope. That’s absurd! There must be some other way!”

“Calm down, It’s not something that will happen like now . It’s a process. It may take decades. I hope it doesn't get to centuries though.”

Izuku’s relief was almost immediate.

“Oh, thank god. I’d hate to be in a bunker with my mom right now.”

“Yeah, cause that would be the worst of your problems in a war, right?”

“Of course! Kacchan would protect me from everything else.”

“You’re so full of shit. And here I thought you were taking me seriously.”

Izuku managed to laugh it off, even if he still got some tears falling.

“I’m just kidding. Don’t wanna think about this anymore. Let’s watch something cute. Something without wars or coups. I heard that K-Pop Demon Hunters on Netflix is great.”

“Sure, put it on.”

Even if it was indeed cute, Izuku was crying by the end of it.

Chapter Text

Scents were a funny thing. After spending time with Katsuki talking about overthrowing governments, which Saja Boy was hotter, and why it was definitely Abby, Izuku felt very comfortable and chill.

If he thought about Kacchan’s scent, yeah, he could definitely smell it. Sweet, hot, and comfy. But it was nothing like that morning when he suddenly felt the urge to climb the alpha. If he slowly became surrounded by his scent, he didn’t feel so out of himself. The real problem was the sudden changes.

At dinner, they baked the last one of the pre-made casseroles, and Katsuki made him swear he’d never ever ever would ask Mrs. Takeda to cook again. Apparently, Katsuki learned how to cook since his parents were always working every time they could. It was a skill learned out of necessity, but he really enjoyed it.

By 8 pm, Katsuki was dozing off on the couch. He had his head leaned on his hand, lips slightly open. He snapped some pictures to tease him later. Izuku gently woke him up and found out that he was not accidentally napping, he was indeed ready to retire to bed.

“Oh, so yesterday… Did my movie bother you? Didn’t think you were already sleeping.”

“Movie? No, I sleep like the dead, don’t worry.”

“What time do you wake up then?”

“Usually before six.”

“Uhn…” Izuku groaned, as if in pain. “Why…?”

“The world is quieter before dawn. I can show you someday.”

Izuku groaned again at the possibility.

“I’ll set an alarm for… 9 am. Is that okay?”

“You do you, Deku.”

“I know, but… I want to. Let’s have brunch or something.”

“Brunch?”

“Yeah! Like a late breakfast, so it’s almost lunch. There is a place I usually go to with Ochako, it’s delicious!”

“Is it… fancy or something? I only got sweatpants and T-shirts.”

“It’s fine! No one bothers about clothes there, don’t worry.”

“Okay, let’s have brunch tomorrow then.”

“Okay! Good night!” Izuku chirped happily and watched Katsuki go to his room with a warm feeling inside.

“We’re going to our brunch place tomorrow, I’m so happy!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I’m completely in love with him. My insides are melting. He sleeps super early though, so I’m only gonna see him tomorrow now T-T~.”

“Hey! That’s our place!”

“Kidding, enjoy your date.”

“Still waiting for those pictures, tho.”

Izuku was quick to send Ochako their selfie and, why not, the picture of him sleeping on the couch.

“I KNEW hes gonna be blond, you freudian bastard. What does your mom say about him?”

“And he’s gorgeous by the way. And you look very happy. I’m super glad it’s working.”

Izuku had not spoken to his mom after that phone call, and he was planning not to for at least some time. He didn’t know exactly what to do about her. Cutting her off seemed a bit extreme, but to think of her meeting Kacchan after what she did… No, that was unacceptable. He wouldn’t put him in that position.

“We’re not on speaking terms right now. But I don’t think she’d be very supportive of my choice.”

“Uhn? Why not?”

“It’s a long story… let’s save it for when we see each other IRL.”

“Cool. I can be there in 10.”

“Ochako!!!”

“Hahaha. But seriously, I’m curious now. Let’s meet soon! I swear I’ll behave near your alpha.”

“You didn’t tell me his name.”

“It's Katsuki.”

“Katsuki? That’s… pretty normal. Aren’t their names usually super over the top like Vlad King or something?”

“Oh, yeah… his official name is Dynamight. But his real name is Katsuki.”

“Dynamight, uhn? Cool. Does he have a short fuse?”

“I’d say he’s more level-headed than me. Today at the mall, some stupid girls were harassing him, and he just walked away. I was about to stain my police record, and he was super chill.”

“That's awful! Did you report them?”

“No, Kacchan was apprehensive of the security cause we hadn’t properly set up his collar and stuff. He’s very picky about following those rules.”

“Kacchan? Omg you’re too cute, Izuku. It’s like calling a rottweiler Missy!!”

Izuku steered the conversation away from that, throwing a K-pop Demon Hunters reference, and as expected Ochako bit it like crazy. They talked about the movie and other meaningless stuff. A few hours later, Izuku decided to go to sleep earlier than usual, since he’d have to wake up early.

Going back to his room was… a shame. The absence of Kacchan’s sweet scent was striking. He showered, put on his pajamas and seriously considered taking a pillow to sleep on the couch.

Like a man on a mission, he took his favorite pillow, a blanket and… found the scarf Katsuki had used that morning. It still smelled like him, not heavily, but plenty. He went back to his room holding the scarf like the most precious thing ever, placing it on his nest.

His nest was a quite big round bed with a raised cushioned border on the top half. It was very big for himself so he didn’t quite filter the volume of stuff in there. Pillows, blankets, plushies, different sizes, different textures. It was objectively a mess, but it was his.

But now it felt lacking. That single scarf was not going to be enough.

Out with the excessive pillows and blankets, he kept only his favorite items and ones he deemed absolutely necessary. Now with the more minimalist approach (just in the nest, because his room was now absolutely chaotic), the scarf could shine.

He lay down and positioned the scarf right in front of his face, so he could smell it, even if it was just a bit.

Would it be too straightforward to ask Kacchan to scent something for him? Probably.

They still haven’t had the talk. Izuku’s heat will be in some weeks, and his rut… Well, he had no idea. Different from omegas, Alphas had their rut more sparse, three to four times a year.

Omegas had heats once a month, and they could last from two days up to a week. Without an alpha, Izuku was used to simply buying one of those scented items at the pharmacy, just to appease his inner omega a bit.

He wasn’t one to spend the three days his heat usually lasted masturbating, he was too lazy for that. He of course did it but most of the time he felt pretty settled with just being plugged. The worst part was the last day, when his body finally realized he was definitely not getting pregnant anytime soon, and sent those awful cramps and gushed slick enough to signal alphas from all over the city that he was a lonely and definitely not pregnant omega.

He had some prescribed pills for the cramps but mainly he waited it out. Of course he didn’t have to worry about work during those days, heat leaves were pretty standard.

And now? Well, things were bound to change.

If he was already craving Katsuki’s scent on a regular day, he couldn’t possibly imagine his reaction in heat. They still haven’t talked about that, but… Katsuki’s first reaction upon seeing him was not the best. It wasn’t part of their… arrangement to spend his heat together.

Katsuki had every right not to want him like that, he never chose to be bought by him in the first place. Maybe they could get there eventually, but… in two weeks? That sounded rushed.

He had to think of options if Katsuki was not willing to share heat yet. It was not as the alpha could simply leave and check in a hotel or something. He didn’t have any money. Nor any autonomy, which was stupid. Izuku was now sure that even if he gave him his credit card the hotel would refuse to have him alone, or some other stupid rule like that.

It would be best if he could… just skip his heat! Yeah! That’s a good option. He was not supposed to do it often but, this was a special case. And the pills to do that had next to no side effects on omegas if used eventually, much safer than the alpha counterpart.

Decided to go to the pharmacy and buy those after brunch tomorrow, Izuku slept.

Maybe the brunch place cared more about clothes then Izuku ever realized. Everything was pastel colors and delicate, and Katsuki’s black shirt really stuck out. People were… staring.

“It’s not the clothes, nerd.” Katsuki said sipping his black plain coffee. No sugar. No milk. No nothing.

“What is it then? Is there something in my teeth?”

“No, you’re good. I’m the problem. Guess this is not the place people expect to see an alpha. But I don’t fucking care, these croissants are delicious. Can I have your strawberry jelly?”

“See? Told you this place was awesome!”

Izuku handed his jelly and they kept eating and ignoring the weird looks towards their table. They ate while talking about home stuff, like their new grocery list. Katsuki was adamant that, if Izuku was going to eat brunch every weekend, their daily food should be way healthier. That included fruits and vegetables. No more snacks and yakults.

“Arhg…  why are you so mean to me, Kacchan…?”

“I’m just being reasonable. Your lifestyle is… not ideal.”

“I know. But sometimes work is so stressful. Don’t wanna go home and eat vegetables .” He said slurping his triple chocolate frappuccino with extra whipped cream.

“Your work?” Katsuki asked, with a pinch of irony in his tone. “The one you do from Monday to Thursday?”

“Yeah. What other work would it be?”

“Of course. And what time do you go to work?”

“From 9 to 5, mostly. Sometimes I end up early.”

“Sure.” Katsuki laughed a bit, biting another croissant. “What about your heat?”

Izuku wasn’t expecting that change in subject so quickly.

“What about it…?”

“What do you do about your work? Do you skip it? Work from home or something?”

“Oh, that, work, right. No, I just take a heat leave.”

“Heat leave? Every month?”

“Yeah, pretty common. Everybody does it.”

Katsuki put down his croissant.

“So you work only four days a week, only three weeks a month? And you make 180 grand a year?”

“Yeah, like I said, I’m still an undergrad so, it’s not that bad.”

“Not… that bad ? Gosh, Deku. You gotta know that is not the norm for pretty much everyone else. See all these betas working here? They most certainly work every day, and most of them probably have another job at night. They are lucky if they’re making 60 grand a year with both jobs.”

“Oh, really? I… never really… thought about that.” And about so many other things.

“Alphas on the other hand, can’t work in services and… well, one can try to do heavy lifting on construction by morning and take a shift in a factory by night, but yeah, that's absolutely gruesome.”

“It can’t be healthy doing that much work.”

“It is not, but it is what it is. I’m just telling you this because you keep saying that something is pretty common, or that everybody does it, when in fact that is just an omega thing. And omegas are what… 20% of the population?”

Izuku felt sad about those realizations and disappointed that it was just how things were, and he couldn’t do much about it. He sadly bit a delicious strawberry macaroon.

“I’m sorry for saying those things, it’s just… Everything you say is so new for me and it gets me a bit perplexed every time. I’ll put more thought into it before saying.”

“Nah, don’t be sorry. If you’re interested in learning these things, that is more than enough for me. Are you gonna eat that muffin?”

“No, go ahead.”

They left the brunch place so full that they decided to walk in the nearby park, and finally take a seat on the grass. Katsuki promptly lay down like a starfish, fidgeting with the chain around his neck. After a few moments of heating up in the sun, he rolled to his side, facing Izuku.

“So, what do you usually do after brunch?”

“Oh, not much. College stuff, usually. Ah, now I remember I need to go to the pharmacy before heading home.”

“To get what?” Katsuki casually asked, not to pry, just making conversation.

“Ahm… I thought about what we talked the other day. About… what we’re going to do for my heat. The best option I could think of was just to skip it this time. So I need to get the pills.”

“Oh. You’re… skipping it then?”

“Yeah. No big deal.”

Katsuki looked surprised, and then he simply rolled away in the grass, giving Izuku his back. They kept like that for some time, until the sun got too hot. They headed back home, stopping by a pharmacy on the way. They didn’t talk much after getting home, Katsuki demanded he remove his collar and went straight to his room. Later Izuku ordered dinner and Katsuki went to bed as early as ever.

On Sunday, when Izuku woke up near noon, Katsuki had sent him links and tutorials on what he was supposed to do to make Katsuki legally his own person again. He speed read through all of it and… it was a lot. There was not a regular process for doing it, the selling of ownership rights was pretty much irreversible.

But there was a loophole.

It was through an adoption-like process. If you adopt someone into your family, they gain all the rights any other member would have. They would gain your last name and all other rights back. If Izuku did it, Katsuki would be his son by the eyes of the law. It was very weird.

Doing research of his own Izuku found out that yeah, a significant number of omegas online claimed to have done the processes and adopted the alphas they were romantically involved with. They were now legally their sons/daughters, were covered by medical insurance, inheritance rights and so on, even if they were actually their spouses. It was the one loophole an alpha could use to be back on regular society after selling their owning rights to companies like Prime.

Izuku would definitely need a lawyer. If his mom were needed to sign anything he’d be screwed.

“Izuku, I want to ask you for some other stuff if that’s alright.”

Izuku was in deep thought about the whole adoption situation when Katsuki brought him back to the present. He raised his head from his phone, looking at the alpha who was looking a bit uncomfortable.

“Sure, what is it?”

He took a seat beside him on the couch and showed him his phone screen. It was a page for a university, one that Izuku had never heard of. The page claimed to have a scholarship for the best-placed alpha student on their entrance test.

“If I get this, you won't have to pay for shit. But, I need to study. Like, very hard. The entrance test is at the end of the year and I have most of high school to catch up.”

“Of course, what do you need?”

They spend the rest of the afternoon talking about study programs, signing Katsuki up on some online courses. Izuku got him a laptop, and everything else he might need from books to pens. Turns out the alpha wanted to apply for the chemical engineering course, which sounded very complex to Izuku.

“We should get you a desk too. I have one in my bedroom, I’m sure we could fit one in yours too. Should we measure?” Izuku was excited to get things done.

“Ahm, sure. Do you have a measuring tape?”

“Yeah! I mean, somewhere!” Izuku chirply started opening his kitchen lower drawers at random, until he found said tape. He quickly went to the guest bedroom, which was now with its door wide open. Katsuki was already inside.

“If I push the bed to the side, it probably could fit here, right?”

But Izuku was stuck on the door threshold. The scent inside was obviously Katsuki’s but it didn’t make him think about a delicious cake in the oven any longer. Only if the oven was his insides and the cake was-

“Deku?”

“I… Here's the tape!” Izuku threw the tape to the alpha who awkwardly managed to catch it.

“You can come in, I don’t mind.”

“It’s not that it’s just… your scent is…” making him slick his panties like a teenager on their first heat.

“Oh, yeah, sure. My bad, I’ll just… measure it on my own.”

And just like that, the door was closed, barely hitting Izuku’s nose.

Well, that was… better than embarrassing himself, right?

Izuku retreated to the living room to wait. Katsuki probably knew by now he was hopelessly attracted to him, since he kept making a fool of himself. And the alpha was… well, not very impressed by it. That much was clear.

“That desk we saw will fit.” Katsuki said as soon as he stepped into the living room.

“Nice! Let’s… Get a chair too?” Please , stay here longer.

“I’m tired, actually. We can look at that some other day. Good night.”

“Night.”

And gone he was.

Izuku hated Mondays. He had to wake up early and go to work. Nobody liked that, right? He went to the bathroom half asleep, put on his work clothes, dress pants and dress shirt. He weirdly tied his tie as usual, couldn’t make a Windsor to save his life.

Mrs. Takeda would probably have made him a sandwich and he’d chug that with a yakult. When he opened his door, the scents were pretty much different from anything Izuku expected.

First, yes, Katsuki’s scent was already dominating the place, which made Izuku fully awake. But it was not just that, there were eggs, rice, and…

“Morning, Mr. Midoriya!” Mrs. Takeda greeted chirply as she dusted the TV hack.

He greeted her as politely as he could without taking his eyes away from the open kitchen where Katsuki was wearing an apron . Of course he wasn’t naked underneath it, but Izuku was only human, and his imagination was very good.

He went there quickly and just shortly stopped himself from mimicking the straps of the apron and hugging the alpha's slim waist.

“Morning, nerd, here is yours.”

Izuku’s attention was redirected to a deliciously looking bowl of rice, eggs, broccoli, and carrots. The kitchen island was ready for him to take a seat, chopsticks waiting with a warm mug of coffee with milk.

“You did… all of this?”

Katsuki took the seat across from him. He had two bowls, one had just rice and eggs, and the other had a lot of vegetables.

“It’s just breakfast, Deku.”

“It’s not! It’s… thank you. I loved it.”

The alpha smiled a bit.

“Eat first, you don’t even know if it's good.”

“Sure! Itadakimasu! ”

And of course it was good. Izuku spent so many minutes praising the food he didn’t realize how late he was. Katsuki followed him to the door as he awkwardly tried to put on his shoes without seating.

“Tomiko said they have a cafeteria at the bank.”

“Yeah! I usually have lunch there, or… go out with Shouto.”

“I could make you a bento if you want.”

Izuku pushed his foot inside the shoe and raised his head to see Katsuki, just out of the gekkan, standing there in his apron, looking the other way. To have their alpha making their bento was the absolutely domestic dream for many omegas. Well, that and a knot so big it bulged the omega’s belly.

“Who tied that tie? A five-year-old?”

At Izuku's absolute no reaction since his mind was still recovering from the bento offering, Katsuki stepped down on the gekkan and started redoing his tie.

“I… thank you, Kacchan. I’d… I’d love to have… a bento made by you.”

“Sure, nerd.” He said concentrated on the tie. “Don’t eat junk food today, okay? I’ll make something for you tomorrow.”

Then the tie was done and Izuku had no reason to stay close to Katsuki anymore, which was a shame. He stood there, looking at him, wanting so badly to… to reach and brush his face to his neck, scent mark before leaving. Let everyone know he had the most amazing alpha waiting for him at home.

“You're gonna be late, Deku.”

“Oh, yeah, thank you. For the tie. For the food. And yeah… bye.”

He stepped outside and into the elevator, and as far away he got, the less interesting his day got.

“Midoriya, want to go to that soba place?”

Izuku looked up from his screen, and surely Shouto was leaning on the frame of his cubicule.

“Sure!” He quickly ended what he was doing and followed Shouto out of the office.

They talked about work, then flipped to some office gossip, and by the end of the meal, Izuku remembered to ask him about his mother.

“Why did you never tell me your mother is a congresswoman?”

Shouto stopped mid slurp, and stared at him.

“Oh, that. I’m sorry. I never meant to hide it, but… Yeah, she’s my mother. I’ll totally understand if you don’t want to be friends anymore.”

“Wait, what? No. That’s not… Your mother’s mistakes are not yours.”

The moment Izuku uttered those words, they actually made his throat dry, and his chest to hurt a little. His own mother’s mistakes shouldn’t be his too, but… He felt guilty anyway.

“I… thanks?” Shouto said a bit unsure. “Sorry for not commenting on it though… I don’t usually go ‘oh, by the way, my mother is one of the worst human beings in this country, nice to meet you.’”

Izuku laughed at that, since Shouto was not one to make jokes. He probably has done that one a lot before, because it was really practiced.

“So you don’t… talk much to her?”

“It’s complicated.” Shout said back at slurping his soba. “After she burned my face off, my father took us away from her, but… not much an alpha can do about kids. We eventually had to go back to her house, and I stayed there until I finished high school.”

Izuku was shocked.

“She’s the one who burned you? Your own mother ?!”

“Shhhh, don’t shout it.”

Suddenly, Inko was not that bad of a mother, was she? He probably should try to mend things with her.

“I’m so sorry, Shouto, that you had to live through all that.”

“Don’t be, it’s not your fault, or anyone else but hers. You’re gonna eat your soba?”

Izuku just pushed his bowl to him, his stomach feeling all tied up.

“So, you live by yourself?”

Turns out Shouto lives with his mother’s alpha, who he calls father, and his older brother, the alpha one his mother rejected. Fuyumi, his elder sister, was the only one who still talked to her on a daily basis, always hopeful she could mend the family back. Natsuo and especially Touya were totally against it, saying there was no possible way for her to atone for what she did to them, especially to their father.

Izuku was too afraid to ask for specifics. He ended up telling Shouto about Katsuki, how they were friends and what his mom did, and the weird situation they were living in right now. Something inside him said that Shouto would understand him better than Ochako.

“You sound so in love, it’s a shame you don’t want to heatshare.”

Izuku almost gagged on plain air.

“It’s not th-that I don’t want to! Of course I want to, it’s just… He never chose to be with me, he quite literally doesn't have any other option right now. I think we’re more like… friends sharing an apartment, that’s all that’s going on right now.”

“So he told you he’s not interested?”

“Not like that, it’s just… He never said he was.”

“And you didn’t ask?”

Izuku laughed.

“Not everyone is as blunt as you, Shouto. I can’t go to him and just ask!”

“Why not?”

“Because…!”

Izuku had no further answer. Gladly, Shouto left the topic to die, and they finally headed back to work.

Katsuki had dinner ready by the time Izuku got home. Rice, meat, gravy sauce, vegetables and salad. It was like coming back to the best place on earth. Izuku never wanted to leave home again.

“Glad you like it. Don’t ignore the salad, it’s not decorative.”

“I won't!”

Izuku was occupied, filling his mouth full of everything delicious, when he realized Katsuki was nervously fidgeting with his collar.

“Oh, let me.”

Izuku reached over the island, making Katsuki lean forward too. Izuku touched the tag and the chain promptly flopped in his hand. Neither of them backed away. Katsuki’s eyes were so intense from up close, Izuku didn’t want to blink.

After a few moments, Katsuki grabbed the collar from his hand and sat back on his seat, muttering a thanks. To smooth out that little moment, Izuku talked a bit about his day and urged Katsuki to do the same.

Some of the things they bought had arrived, like his new laptop and some books. Katsuki was happy he’d be able to start studying. Izuku was happy for him too. They finished eating, Izuku went to shower and then they watched an episode of a new series about a society where people had quirks and superpowers. Katsuki started dozing off by the end of the second episode.

“Sorry, we can keep watching tomorrow.”

“Sure! I’ll watch something else. Good night!”

“Night, nerd.”

And with Katsuki gone, Izuku deflated on the couch. Definitely the second-worst part of his day. First was leaving him in the morning, and now watching him go to the guest bedroom. So close yet so far out of reach.

Izuku’s week didn’t get much better after Monday. His most precious scarf was now smelling totally like himself, not a single flint of Katsuki’s scent remained on it. He had trouble sleeping for that, waking up too late to eat breakfast with him at a normal pace.

His most happy moment was opening up his bento box and realizing Katsuki had packed enough food for two meals. The alpha probably realized he had to go to college that day, and packed his dinner too.

He snapped a picture of it and sent it to him, together with many thanks. The alpha texted him back with a picture of the desk they bought, already put up in his room. They talked a bit more through text and then Izuku had to pay attention to his class.

As the teacher talked about investment rates in different financial products and how to calculate their future value, Izuku looked around the small group of students. Of the twenty students, fifteen were omegas, five were betas. And to think about it, Izuku was sure he had never seen any alpha on campus.

How shielded from the reality he really was? Probably way more than he realized. Do the other omegas were like him too? Shouto seemed to be more critical, since everything he went through. Ochako was her family's princess from day one, even if they were betas. If it wasn’t for Katsuki broadening his horizon, he probably would have kept living in the dark for much longer, if not forever.

When he got home, Katsuki was already asleep. Izuku felt disappointed in himself, for being away till late. Not that he could help it, but it was sad anyway. He was heading towards his room, when something caught his eye.

A black hoodie hanging on the backrest of the dining table chair.

Izuku looked to both sides as if it was some kind of trap, as if alarms would sound, as if someone would see what he was about to do. Katsuki wasn’t one to leave stuff in the living room, but… it was definitely his.

Stepping very lightly as if he needed to be stealth, he reached for the hoodie. It was soft and warm to the touch. Without any reservations, Izuku shoved his face on it. Immediately he was drowned in Katsuki’s rich, sweet, smokey scent. God was good.

Izuku stumbled to his room, feeling his legs give, muttering his thanks to God, how truly grateful he was for that blessing, how he was not worthy of such a gift but he was going to enjoy it nonetheless. Thank you, thank you, thank you…

On his nest he fumbled out of his dirty clothes, shoving them as far as he could, the only thing that mattered was that hoodie. It was so much better than the scarf, the scent was actually vivid on it. Maybe Katsuki had worn it to the gym, maybe he was wearing it for days, maybe he was wearing it thinking of him... Oh god, his slick was starting to run down his groin.

Fuck, fuck and fuck. Without a single coherent thought in his mind, Izuku almost smothered himself with the hoodie while frantically touching his cocklet, stroking it way too harshly and it still not being enough. Mid anger and frustration, Izuku dove for his nest side drawer where he kept his heat stuff, and found the rubber dick he used to fuck himself with in heat. He didn’t remember using it even once outside his heat, but desperate situations required desperate measures.

He inserted it and was immediately frustrated at how easily it slipped in. He felt like crying. His hands were both already slippery with the amount of slick he was gushing, and in his desperation he couldn’t have a good grip on the toy.

“No… please, Kacchan …” He begged to the hoodie as it would magically solve his horniness. It didn’t. It got worse.

Desperate to reach at least one percent of what he needed, Izuku got on his knees, sitting over the dildo. It was not one of those with large bases to do that, but Izuku couldn’t care less. The little appendage with bunny ears would definitely prevent it from going inside him and out of reach.

Which was a shame because Izuku definitely wanted it way way deeper. He rocked his butt over it, over and over again, breathing the hoodie in like it was the only source of oxygen on the planet. When he finally managed to cum, Izuku was destroyed.

His legs and hips hurt, and his dick was raw after all the grinding on the bed sheets. His slick was sticky and made him disgusted by the way it clung to his skin. He didn’t want to lie down on his own mess, and the black hoodie was now covered in his saliva, tears and cum. Just to look at it made him feel bad, like he had disgraced something holy.

But what hurt the most was knowing that his alpha was just in the other room, and he let him do all that to himself.

Notes:

In actual Japan, right now in 2025, same sex marriage is still illegal, so people rely on this loophole of adoption to have their spouses as family. It sounds ridiculous in fiction, and even more when you realize it's our actual reality.

It's Shouto debut!!!!!!! Let me know what you think of him <3

And this chapter is one that i'm proud of! Hope you liked it too! Let me know!

Eat your salads! ;)

Chapter Text

Izuku slept terribly. Everything was wrong, his scent, his skin, his hair, his nest. After what he did the previous night, he took everything out of his nest, from plushies to sheets, even Katsuki’s hoodie, and made a giant pile of laundry. He wanted it all gone. As a result, he ended with a striped nest, a broken heart and the worst night of sleep ever.

“Morning, Mr. Midoriya!”

Mrs. Takeda was as chirpy as ever as she cleaned the corridor floor.

“Ahm… Morning, Mrs. Takeda. Can you… pick up my laundry? Is the giant pile on the floor. It's impossible to miss it.”

“Sure, sir! Right away.”

“Thank you.”

He made a mental note to buy an extra nice Christmas gift for her this year. She deserved everything for not questioning his bullshit. It was a shame that not everyone was like her.

“Are you okay? You look like crap.”

Izuku looked up to see Katsuki, as gorgeous as ever in his apron. He put in front of him a bowl of rice, sizzled chicken breast, and vegetables. Izuku hated how good it smelled, hated even more how good he smelled.

“I’m fine.” He simply said, wishing Katsuki would just let him be. He didn’t.

“You don’t look fine.”

“Well, it’s not something you can help with, is it?”

Oh, crap. He regretted it immediately. Katsuki didn’t answer him back, which was objectively worse. The alpha simply grabbed his own bowl of food and stood to leave the kitchen. Izuku reached for his arm before he was out of reach.

“Wait, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have said that. Can I take it back? Please?”

Katsuki looked at him, then at his hand grabbing his arm, and ultimately conceded, going back to sit at the kitchen island with him.

“I just didn’t sleep well. I’m sorry. I’ll be fine.”

Katsuki ate his food in silence for a few moments before saying anything.

“Have you seen my hoodie? I could swear I left it on one of the dining table chairs.”

Izuku literally choked on his food, having to cough his lungs out before getting a grip on how to breathe again.

“I… didn’t see it.”

“Maybe I left it at the gym. Are you sure you’re okay?”

“Totally.” Izuku got back to eating his chicken as eagerly as he could. When he finished, he grabbed his bento box, put it in his backpack, and did not even try to put on his shoes without sitting on the gekkan’s step. When he stood, Katsuki was there, handing him a big ass thermos Izuku didn’t remember he owned.

“Coffee. You’re gonna need it. I put a bit of milk on it, so don’t sugar it.”

Izuku's innate anger from that morning simply evaporated, his chest hurting with so much love he couldn’t help it inside.

“Are you fucking crying?”

“Nooo…!” Izuku was hugging the thermos like it was a teddy bear. “It’s just… Thank you, Kacchan!”

“Come over here, you crybaby.”

Izuku stepped closer, expecting to be hugged, to be scented, to be loved, but Katsuki simply kept him at arm's length and fixed his tie. His eyes watered a little more.

“There. Let me know when you get there so I know you didn’t hit a post or something.”

“I will. Thank you.” He said, not moving away.

“Go, Deku.”

“Okay…”

After a practically useless morning at work, Shouto invited him again to lunch. He had to deny this time, because he had his bento. They went together to the building cafeteria instead.

“Since when do you cook?” Shouto asked while eating some instant noodles.

“I don’t. Katsuki made it for me. It’s really good, he’s an amazing cook.” he said proudly. Bragging about his alpha was something he definitely could get used to. “When I wake up, he already has the breakfast and the bento ready.”

“That’s weird.”

“Weird how?” Don’t you dare speak ill of my alpha

“You said he didn’t want to have sex with you, but he makes you food.”

“What does one thing have to do with the other?!” Izuku was blushing hard now.

“Well… maybe nothing. Like I said, it’s weird.”

“What do you know about having an alpha anyways?” Izuku blurted and resigned back to his food, convinced that the topic was as good as dead.

“Actually, about that. I’ve been seeing someone. For some time now.”

Most omegas dated other omegas, sometimes betas. Alphas were not considered love interests since they were bought. The most traditional course for an omega was to get themselves an alpha as soon as they moved out of their parents' home (just like Izuku did) and then start pursuing a love interest.

Sometimes the omega couple would keep their original alphas, but the most respectable option was to return them to the store and get a new one as a couple. It was what his mom and dad had done back then. So obviously not a recipe for success, since he had absolutely no idea where his father was.

There were also a lot of single omegas who never married, had their alpha and their kids by themselves. And to think now, Izuku realized that calling them “single omegas” was utterly absurd since they were clearly sharing their lives with the alpha they loved.

“Who? Do they work here?”

“No, he’s an alpha. I’ve been heat sharing with him for… almost six months.”

What? And you’re telling me that now?”

“I think most people here would find it… unorthodox. But since you seem not to be on that side, I decided to tell you.”

“How does that even work? Don’t you live with your father and brother?”

“That’s exactly why. Since I moved out of my mom’s, I’ve been skipping my heats. I wasn’t going to just... You know, with them on the other side of the door. Way too weird. Then one day, every single omega on our floor was out on heat leave, and I realized that I was being very stupid.”

Izuku laughed. Shouto didn’t want to come to work, that was his reasoning. Fair, he wished he were home too.

“So what? How the hell do you find an alpha just to heatshare?”

“Well, Izuku, it may be a shock to you since your current predicament, but an alpha willing to heatshare with a random omega is not that hard to find. I’d say it's the norm.”

“Stop mocking me and tell me what you did.”

“I downloaded an app, put on a real picture and a fake name. Boom.”

Izuku couldn’t believe it. His friend was way braver than he’d ever give him credit.

“And you just… met them? And it worked like that? Wasn’t it super dangerous?”

Alphas from stores were vetted, trained, and were safe. Alpha’s Prime thrived on that sales pitch.

“I’m not that crazy. We first met at a coffee shop not far from here. Then I ran his name on the bank system, and he had the regular credit rate. You know, that means he has a regular job and is not in debt.”

Izuku was even more perplexed.

“Can you do that?! Isn’t it… against the laws of data security and stuff??”

“Of course it is, so if some IT guy asks, it was a mistake. Anyways, when my heat came, we met at a heathotel, and I gave all the info to Touya in case I went missing.”

“In case you what?! Oh my god, Shouto, are you crazy?”

“Me? No. I trust my brother would find me way earlier than the police.”

Izuku was incredulous at how nonchalant his friend was about that whole ordeal. He was speechless.

“Touya didn’t have to do anything, though. Eijirou is really sweet.”

“Eijirou?”

“Yeah, the alpha I’m seeing.”

That name should have rung a bell in Izuku’s head, but it didn’t.

“And now you just meet him for your heat every month?”

“At first, yeah, but then… Well, I started to meet him more often. It’s a bit difficult because every alpha in town hates my mother, so, yeah, we gotta be careful. He gets a bit protective of me if I go to his home, and he can't come to mine, so… Little Shakespearean thing going on. It’s kind of fun, you know? ”

Izuku ate the last of his salad, remembering it was not decorative, still in disbelief.

“Do you… love him?”

“Yeah, I think I do.”

“I’m happy for you then, Shou. I don’t really understand how all of that can work out but… I’m glad for you. And maybe a little envy, I’m sorry.”

Izuku couldn’t make it work with Katsuki inside his apartment, to imagine the whole situation Shouto was in, and managing to make it work was pretty awesome.

“Thank you.” Shouto said anyway. “He’s opening a business with some friends soon, and if it works like he expects, we’ll start searching for a place for us soon.”

“Can an alpha open a business?”

“They can, if they have an omega guarantor. Hence me.”

Oh… Are you sure he’s not… You know.” Izuku didn’t want to say his lover was a potential fraudster.

“Scaming me?”

“Yeah.”

Shouto smiled.

“Once you meet Eijirou, you’ll see. And you clearly never met my brother.”

“What does your brother have to do with all of it?” Sometimes, Shouto was really difficult to understand.

“Nothing. But Eiji met him and stayed. He’s totally legit.”

Izuku was still very much confused about the whole brother meets boyfriend situation and why it mattered.

“Is your brother with the police or something?”

“Touya? Pff, no. He’s a dancer.” Shouto said before slurping his noodles once again.

Izuku felt even more confused with that information, but rather not to meddle in the Todoroki family anymore.

Going back home that day, Izuku had mixed feelings. He wanted so badly to be near Katsuki, to see his rare smile, hear him talk about stuff he never imagined, to breathe the sweetness his scent brought to the ambient. But he also knew that the moment he stepped into his home, his mood would sour. The proximity he craved was not available.

His body had to understand that he, ultimately his mom, but also he, were responsible for a lot of suffering for Katsuki’s family. It was the most natural thing that the alpha didn’t want him that way, that he didn’t even like how he scented. It was expected. They were friends as kids, and they could very much still be friends as adults.

He opened the door having prepared himself to pretend everything was fine. Katsuki was in the kitchen, finishing up dinner.

“Since you were so tired this morning, I made you katsudon. Don’t get used to it, though. And don’t ignore-”

“.. don’t ignore the salad, I know!” Izuku repeated over him, having heard that warning many times now.

As he chomped the delicious, crunchy meat, Izuku didn’t know what to feel anymore. Their relationship was everything he ever expected from having an alpha at home. They were friends, of course, but they also took care of each other. They were independent from one another but at the same time they had those two on two moments, like meals, watching series, going to brunch, and those meant everything.

Izuku shouldn’t be feeling like something was utterly lacking. Something he had never had before, something they never agreed upon having. But he missed it anyway, on an almost biological level.

Oh.

“Hm? Is it too spicy?”

“Ah, no. I just remembered something.”

It was obvious. This whole lacking and desperate feeling was his heat speaking. His inner omega didn’t know the difference between Katsuki and a willing alpha, it was just being super annoying because of the upcoming heat.

Izuku quickly went to his room, into the bathroom and got the pills he needed to take. His heat was probably due a bit early this time, but it made sense since Izuku had never been so near an alpha who wasn’t his mom’s before. He just had to start taking them daily before his heat, and it would never come. He was going to be back to normal in no time.

He was quickly back in the kitchen, fetching himself a glass of water.

“What are you doing?”

“Gotta start taking the pill so I don’t-”

Izuku was stopped mid-movement. The small pill dropped instantly as Katsuki’s strong hand held his wrist in an unrelenting grip. The only sound both of them could hear after that was the bouncing of the pill on the floor and then, nothing. The shift in the mood was almost tangible.

Katsuki didn’t say anything, but Izuku was close enough to feel his demeanor change. His scent, often so sweet, started to burn, igniting like fire. Izuku felt threatened in a good way, like those two seconds before the drop on the roller coaster.

“Kac-cchan?”

After the briefest hesitation, the grip on his wrist was suddenly gone. The threat was instantly contained. The roller coaster drop never came.

“Sorry, don’t know what came to me.”

Something in Izuku died a little at the alpha stepping away. Why doesn't he stay close? Why can’t he scent him with that burning hot scent of his? Can’t he see Izuku was tired of the sweet, of being just friends? Was Izuku’s omega so undesirable?

In a sudden bright moment, or a fucking stupid one, Izuku grabbed a fresh pill and shoved it into his mouth.

The result was immediate

Katsuki’s hand clamped down on his neck, wrenching him upward. His mouth crashed into Izuku’s, tongue forcing its way past his teeth in a kiss that wasn’t a kiss at all, it was a goddamn raid. Izuku couldn’t move. Didn’t want to. The world slowed to nothing, and he drowned in the brutal thrill of it. Finally.

Katsuki snarled against his lips, teeth scraping, and then ripped the pill straight from Izuku’s mouth with his own. He spat it onto the kitchen floor with all the contempt of a barbarian king, chest inflated with pride like he’d just conquered something. Izuku had never seen anything so fucking hot.

“Why, Deku?” His mouth hovered impossibly close, his voice so low Izuku could feel the rumble vibrating through the air between them.

Instincts taking over, Izuku let his head wobble to the side, exposing his neck, anything for his alpha to get.

“You think I’m such a pathetic excuse for an alpha,” Katsuki growled, teeth gritted, “that you’d rather swallow those godforsaken pills than spend your heat with me?”

No. That was wrong. Izuku wanted him so badly, he was everything Izuku ever wanted, he made him better. He was taking the pill because he couldn’t stand not having him! Stupid alpha got everything wrong.

“Fucking answer me!” He snarled again, urging Izuku to respond.

“What other choice did I have?” Izuku gasped, desperation creeping into his voice. “You don’t scent me, let me live off scraps of dirty laundry, fucking myself on a plastic dick! I may as well take pills till the day I die or find someone else!”

Right after the words came out of his mouth, Izuku felt an insane feeling of pride. The reaction those words crave in Katsuki was cruel, but it was exactly what he aimed for.

An instinctual, almost feral, snarl with fangs showing was Katsuki's whole answer.

Izuku’s brain was probably working just on pheromones because when the alpha forcibly conducted him by the scruff of his neck, Izuku’s reflex was to moan in pleasure. His world pivoted as he went horizontal, face-first on a bed that was not his.

“I’ll fucking show the choice you have, Deku.”

Katsuki’s scent, in his room, on his bed, felt like an insane fast drug. Izuku wanted to breathe the sheets in, to crave his blunt nails on it, while his insides melted in slick that poured off his hole. Not a single brain cell was worried about what Katsuki was going to do to him. The answer was yes, he wanted it.

His pants and briefs were the first ones gone. It was so sudden, Izuku couldn’t tell if everything else he was wearing was ripped or taken off him. He moaned harder, inhaling deeper, wanting the burning scent to be deep inside his brain.

“Please, please, please…” He chanted to the bed, unsure if he was being listened to.

His hips were hoisted up on his knees in a presentation pose, his ass cheeks were spread, something blunt started to rub against him, each time with more and more slick.

“The only thing I have to offer you is this, and you…!” Katsuki cut himself off in a hiss. “Fuck! I’ve been holding back all these days! I behaved like the proper alpha I knew you wanted, but now… Look at what you made me do.”

Izuku was drooling on the bed, keeping his spine as curved as if his life depended on it, and it did somehow because he was not sure if he was going to survive if the alpha didn’t fuck him.

“I’m sorry, please…!”

The bluntness in his ass finally stopped teasing, stopping right over his hole. Then, it breached his rim. Izuku screamed at the intrusion, the way it was stretching him, filling him, hurting him, in an ungodly good way.

It didn’t stop there, it went deeper and deeper, and Izuku was about to scream again, when two fingers were shoved into his mouth, shutting him off with the taste of his alpha precum, sending him further and further into his own head as he sucked on them.

Katsuki entered him steadily, feeding his cock to his hole inch by inch, slowly but continuously. He was holding Izuku’s face through his mouth, his body caged under the large chest and huge arms, until their hips got flushed together in a perfect mounting. Izuku couldn’t move, couldn’t say anything, just felt the absolute strength his alpha had, domineering even his insides.

Katsuki’s breath was right by his ear, his voice smoldering.

“They may have taken everything else that I had, Deku, but this…” He rolled his hips just enough for Izuku to produce a stuffed moan between his fingers. “... this is mine to give. I can be the alpha you want, you just have to give me the chance.”

Izuku made desperate agreement noises while trying to nod. The fingers came out of his mouth and he grasped for air, Katsuki’s face right there, red eyes piercing, scanning his own.

“I want it, Kacchan… I want it… more than anything… please!”

Katsuki laughed and that sound alone was responsible for Izuku’s heart ache.

“You, omegas…” Katsuki started to roll his hips again, accentuating his words. “... are so… fucking… difficult.”

“Ah.. please… ah…”

“All this time… I was thinking you were just… taking pity on me.”

“Pity…? No… never…I want you…”

Katsuki low growl rumbled as his hand followed Izuku’s body down, pushing one off his knees up and to the side, making him flat on the bed, one knee high. His bigger body covered the small omega in the same position. He reached for his hands, interwinding their fingers together in a sweet gesture.

“Smell so fucking good…”

Izuku moaned, pinned by Katsuki’s body weight alone, reveling in how the alpha breathed deeply and soundly in his neck. His hips never stopped thrusting, slow, but each time firmer, stronger. He never once pulled out, sinking deep, and then just enough to thrust again, like he couldn’t stay away, not even for a brief moment.

All doubts Izuku had about Katsuki liking his scent or not were completely gone. The alpha was ravenous about it, and he couldn’t feel any more desired than that. Izuku couldn’t help himself not to cum, his cocklet spurting against the bed where it was smothered. His moans faltered as his lithe body throbbed in pleasure.

“Did you just cum?”

Izuku was not down yet from his orgasm high when the alpha hissed at his face. He fluttered his eyes, trying to focus, trying to figure out what Katsuki had just asked him. Before any coherent sound could come out of him, the alpha moved. He hoisted him up and back, laying Izuku on his chest as he stood on his knees.

“You omegas think you’re entitled to anything, uhn?”

Izuku had barely gathered his new position, and was already completely surrendered to Katsuki’s rough hands, one on his neck and jaw, tilting his face towards his. The other one ran fast down his body, palming his now spent cocklet.

“Kac-kacchan…”

Izuku moaned a plea the omega himself didn’t comprehend, the afterglow of his orgasm mixing with a newfound adrenaline. Katsuki’s cock was still deep inside of him, the position making the omega curve his spine once again. It was even deeper now, Izuku wanted it to never leave him. He wanted Katsuki like this, forever.

“Tsc”

The alpha effortlessly moved Izuku to lie on his opposite shoulder, the hand that was on his cocklet now on his jaw. The alpha didn’t say anything, just prodded his fingers on his lips and inside, brushing his cum dirtied fingers on Izuku’s gums. It tasted bitter and objectively disgusting, so Izuku tried uselessly to move his head and pull the alpha hand off his mouth.

His protests were quickly drowned by Katsuki’s own mouth, tongue brutally going inside, tasting the very thing Izuku was trying to get rid of. Izuku’s resistance ended right there, opening up, curving the way he could to allow him more space, one hand holding himself on the alpha’s broad shoulder.

Izuku had never felt so at the mercy of anyone before, never knew how pleasure could come from that. Before founding Katsuki again, Izuku’s idea of sex was always related to his heat, something comfy to feel good, to relax.

Nothing about Katsuki was making him relax now. His whole body was tense, muscles burning to keep up with the hard thrusts in that position, his neck hurt from the almost contortionism he was performing, his legs were totally numb, and he was definitely just still up cause the alpha was keeping him like that.

Even so, he was loving every second of it.

Katsuki’s hand, wet with his slick, started stroking his cock in time with his thrusts, his closed fist covering it all at once. Izuku immediately knew he wouldn't take long to cum again. It was too soon, it would probably burn as fuck, but he wanted it all the same. The contradiction of it all was a delight. He knew now he should let the alpha know.

“Kacchan, I’m gonna-”

“You will when I say so, omega.” The words were a snarl against his ear, then his voice softened, sweet like poison. “Can you do that for me, babe?”

Izuku clamped his mouth shut, holding his breath in a silly attempt to comply with the order. He nodded enthusiastically to convey his answer, closing his eyes too, in another cheap strategy to hold back.

But Katsuki seemed to know him better than himself by now.

He held him close as he lay them both back on the bed, spooning. Somehow, Izuku magically ended up with his head on a pillow and hugging another one, his upper leg comfortably over it. Katsuki's mouth was back on his jaw, neck, and ear, his cock thrusting in easily and steadily.

“I’m gonna knot you, Deku. Need you to relax, so it doesn’t hurt you, okay?”

Knots outside heats were commonly described as painful. Even at sex ed at school, teachers told omegas not to let alphas do that, barely spoke about any motives, only that properly trained alphas would pull out before so as not to hurt the omega. But Izuku was too gone to remember any of it.

The new position started slow, but the alpha clearly knew what he was doing, hitting something inside Izuku he usually just managed to find during his most intense heats. He was going to come, he wouldn’t be able to hold back anymore.

“Please, Kacchan, I can’t… anymore… please…”

“Yeah, babe, just like that, come on my cock again.”

Just like a switch, Izuku did. And as he did, so did Katsuki. He felt his body burning in pleasure at the same time his knot started to get impossibly bigger. Izuku felt his whole body spasming in pleasure, his legs and arms moving against his will, sounds he didn’t know he could make pouring out of him.

Everything was so intense, the only thing Izuku could think of at that moment was Katsuki. How his arms were holding him close, safe. How his breathing was on his neck, sounding as exerted as his. His scent, burnt caramel, fire and amber, so ungodly good Izuku couldn’t remember how he lived his life without sensing it.

Even though his high seemed to go higher and higher for what felt like hours, it eventually started to fall, bringing a relaxation to his body he had never felt before. He couldn’t tell where his limbs ended and the bedding started, mind empty, his senses dulled.

It took some time for Izuku to realize he was sleeping.

Unfortunately, once he did, he woke himself up. Katsuki was still inside him, holding him close, gently nosing his neck. He didn’t want him to stop, so he tried to stay still and pretend to be still asleep.

“Hey, nerd… You’re awake, aren’t you?”

“No, I’m not.”

Katsuki chuckled, and that sound alone made Izuku contort himself again, just so he could see his face. He was relaxed, skin glowing a bit red due to exertion, more gorgeous than ever. But something was covering the expenses of his chest. A metal link chain with a tag, his collar.

Izuku never took it off him when he came back home that night. And at that moment it rubbed him the wrong way.

“What’s it? Am I hurting you? I can-”

Izuku reached his face, pulled him in a sweet kiss. The alpha immediately kissed back, and Izuku took the opportunity to slip his hand to the collar and put his thumb to the tag. It immediately became loose in his hand, so he simply threw it away from the bed.

Katsuki pulled away from the kiss and laughed. And this tim,e Izuku was right there to see it.

“What was that about?”

“I know you don’t like it. Should’ve taken it off much sooner.”

“Hmmm.” Katsuki kissed him again, fondly. “Maybe I don’t hate it that much anymore.”

And just in time with his words, Izuku felt his insides gurgling, a sensation he had never felt before. A bit alarmed, he looked to his tummy, and surely it was a bit swollen. Upon touch, it was a bit tender too.

“Oh my god, Kacchan, is this…”

“Yeah, just don’t move much, it’ll go down soon.”

He lay back again, ready to do just that, and Katsuki resumed nuzzling his neck. Then, Izuku realized something very important.

“What if I don’t want it to go down? What if I want it to stay like this the whole night?”

Katsuki snorted.

“Such spoiled omega…” Katsuki complained, but at the same time, he pushed and pulled just the minimal room his knot had, while palming Izuku’s tummy.

Izuku moaned loudly, the sensation was borderline painful, but it forced out of his abused cock just a bit of cum, making him feel euphoric. The suddenness of it was completely unexpected. Izuku felt like an alien inhabiting his body, the foreign sensation so overwhelming, beyond anything he'd ever expected to feel. And then, it stopped.

“Kacchan, what was that, I -”

The gurgling inside started again, and this time, Katsuki pushed hard on his tummy, making Izuku actually cum again, crying soundlessly.

It was so sudden, so intense, Izuku didn’t even know what to do with himself. His body felt like not his anymore, Katsuki was it’s true handler. Izuku was just this abstract conscience inhabiting it for the alpha to play with. And he was absolutely fine with that insane thought.

Completely spent, Izuku closed his eyes.

“Sleep now, Izuku. I won’t leave you.”

And so he did.
