Chapter Text

Chenle wants to be alone.

Not an unusual thing, but tonight of all nights, he wants to be alone the most.

He’s not exactly the surround-myself-with-as-many-people-possible type of person… but he’s not a loner either.

But sometimes… solitude is enough.

Sure, he can tolerate some people. Donghyuck and his hopeless obsession over an upperclassman alpha — yes, Mark. Renjun and his non-stop whining about the unfairness of society…which to be fair, is something Chenle does agree on and whines about from time to time.

And well… Jaemin.

Who’s just… too Jaemin to explain.

Jeno isn’t bad either. He’s just a simp for Jaemin. That’s all.

That’s all Chenle can tolerate. And there’s days where even that might be a stretch.

Chenle woke up this morning, trying his best to act absolutely stunned by the pair of fluffy ears and soft, swishing tail that had appeared during the night. He looked in the mirror and there was no denying the vibrant glow of magenta glimmering in his eyes.

A full moon.

Of course.

Every month, the same thing. Three days where one’s true instincts can’t be ignored — not when they’re displayed like that.

And it’s not that Chenle hates how much his tail moves or how much his ears twitch.

He doesn’t hate that.

He just hates the system.

All of it.

Because who has the power to decide who’s more powerful and dominant than everyone else?

Who decided that omegas should live in fear of being hurt or taken advantage of?

He doesn’t know.

But when he does, that person better count their days.

And so here he his. Alone. Staring up at the starry sky, sitting on the dormitory rooftop, leaning back against his palms.

His eyes flutter shut as he takes in the night breeze that makes him shudder slightly under the fabric of his hoodie. It’s quiet. Peaceful. Everything that the campus dorms aren’t.

It’s fascinating, really. Soothing, even. He’s on his own out there with no sounds, no distractions. Just Chenle and nature.

He finds himself thinking — as he always does.

He doesn’t believe in love.

Romance.

Relationships.

Not in this world.

Because that’s just pure bullshit.

The whole ‘there’s someone out there waiting to love you’?

Absolute crap.

Who even made that up?

His ears twitch sharply at the mere thought of it.

If love means giving yourself to an alpha or beta, just to be used, Chenle takes a hard pass.

Bull. Shit.

Romance? My left ass cheek—

Footsteps.

The omega’s ears perk up in alarm. His senses intensify.

He’s not alone.

Not now.

There’s someone else on the rooftop.

Chenle’s heart thumps hard in his chest, panic rising in his stomach, yet he doesn’t move. One wrong move might give him away.

His instincts are raging inside him.

Run from danger.

Or fight.

Stay calm. Just breathe.

The footsteps grow heavier. Louder. Closer.

Chenle feels trapped.

Oh shit.

His tail starts to thud wildly against the concrete, forcing him to curl in on himself to make it stop.

He squeezes his eyes shut, hard, as if that would make this all some dream…that’s about to turn into a nightmare—

Hands touch his shoulders.

Warm breath tickles his ear.

He seizes up, and then—

Boo.”

Chenle yelps, embarrassingly loud enough to echo.

He springs to his feet, fists clenched as he’s about to take down the— wait a minute.

He knows that voice.

Hang on—

His eyes fly wide open.

And oh.

He’s never wanted to do anything more illegal than right now.

Why?

Park. Fucking. Jisung.

Chenle’s eyes glow madly.

And Jisung? That dumbass smiles!

Amused!

You better be kidding me.

“Hey there~” the alpha hums sweetly, tail wagging behind him as if he didn’t just almost send Chenle into a coma.

Chenle glares at him, long and deadly enough for Jisung to actually fear for his safety.

What the fuck was that for?!” The omega yells, voice echoing around them.

Jisung doesn’t flinch.

“You look like you need company.” He shrugs, hands shoved in his pockets. His eyes glow with a glimmer of soft blue and a flicker of playfulness.

Chenle wants to slap him.

Or… maybe he doesn’t.

The older student crosses his arms. “The last thing I need is company.” He murmurs, turning away from Jisung to take his seat.

He’s very aware of the fact that Jisung’s still standing there. Right behind him. Just… watching?

This idiot…

“Go.”

“Nope.”

Chenle sighs heavily, trying to keep the minimal patience he has left for this world.

“Just…go.” He tries again, looking up at the sky as if Jisung’s presence isn’t bothering him.

Jisung shakes his head. “No thanks.”

Chenle’s patience has officially run out.

“God— you are so annoying.” He groans into his hands.

“Thank you. I do try.” Jisung replies and Chenle doesn’t even have to look back to know the alpha has that devastatingly charming— he means cocky smile plastered on his stupid face.

Chenle sighs. He tucks his knees up to his chest.

This is gonna be one long ass night.

He’s too busy feeling sorry for himself to register the shuffling of sneakers against the concrete as Jisung makes his way closer and crouches down next to him.

“Can I sit here?”

Chenle gives him a sharp, sideways glance.

“What’s the point of asking when your flat-ass is already touching the floor?”

Soooo… I’ll take that as a yes.” Jisung nods, ears twitching with glee as he crosses his legs.

Chenle rolls his eyes.

Unbelievable.

“I never said yes.”

“You never said no either.”

“Shut up.”

“Ok, cutie~”

Chenle’s brows furrow.

Cutie?

Oh I’ll show you cutie—

“So what’s a pretty boy like you doing out here all alone?” Jisung tilts his head, eyeing the older male, who doesn’t even spare him a glance.

“Plotting world domination.”

“That’s deep.”

“And the extinction of annoying alphas.”

Damn.” Jisung sucks in a breath. “Didn’t know you hated me that much.” He chuckles, but there’s a hint of hurt behind it.

Chenle stills.

He didn’t mean it like that.

Not exactly.

His heart does something odd. He catches the way Jisung’s fluffy ears drop and his tail flops in a disappointment that he can’t quite hide, despite the lazy grin he always carries on his face.

Chenle chews his lip, reluctant to speak, but then—

“I don’t hate you.”

The words fill the air between them.

The words sound…

Like something Chenle’s been holding back for a while.

Jisung slowly turns to him, eyes glowing in the dark. Chenle looks up, features illuminated by the moonlight, and Jisung’s heart pounds in his chest because…

He looks ethereal.

Unreal.

Dreamy.

Breathtaking.

With the early autumn wind flowing through his wavy deep-brown locks and his cute, little wolf ears sticking out through his tousled hair. His eyes shine a beautiful shade of pink, which captivates Jisung in seconds. He looks so soft and warm, drowning in his oversized zip-up hoodie and basketball shorts.

Jisung can’t peel his eyes off him.

“…Really?” He whispers carefully, still taken aback by the sudden confession.

Chenle scoffs. “Don’t make me say it again.” He murmurs, curling in tighter on himself.

Jisung beams at him. His smile is so bright, it competes with the full moon’s light.

Chenle can’t bear to look at him.

“So you don’t hate me?” Jisung sits up straight, tail wagging so fast that Chenle’s convinced he’s about to take flight. “Which means… you must like me!”

And Chenle chokes.

On absolutely nothing.

His ears stick up in disbelief.

“Woah— No.” He snaps back, horrified. He puts his hand out, finally looking Jisung in the eyes. “That is not what I said.”

Jisung just smirks.

Smirks!

Where does this kid get this energy from?

“But it was implied.”

Chenle huffs, rolling his eyes for the thousandth time since Jisung arrived and ruined his lone wolf era.

“You’re delusional.”

“And you’re pretty.”

There’s no tease in Jisung’s voice.

In fact, it sounds…sincere.

Honest. From the heart.

That makes Chenle stiffen.

“Shut up. You can’t say things like that.” The omega mutters, looking away from the alpha. He can’t ignore the obvious amount of heat that rushes to his face, or the way his ears are flicking and his tail is swishing behind him.

He desperately hopes that Jisung can’t see his instincts betraying him.

Stop. Stop. Stop.

“Why?” The younger boy’s voice is filled with curiosity.

And Chenle’s lost for words.

Because he does not have his list of excuses on hand right now.

So he stammers, embarrassingly so. “Because… b-because….”

“Because it’s true?”

The air shifts around them.

Chenle’s heart starts to race.

And the worst part is that he can still feel Jisung’s eyes fixed on him.

The silence is heavy. Not with awkwardness, but with something deeper. Something Chenle can’t name or admit to.

Not yet.

“….just be quiet.” His tiny voice breaks the quiet.

He cringes mentally at how pathetic he sounds.

He half expects Jisung to start yapping again, but to his surprise, the alpha remains silent.

Hesitantly, Chenle takes a peek at him.

And oh.

His stomach does the strangest thing.

He feels like there’s a whole battle going on in there.

What is this…

What is up with me?

His eyes narrow for a second.

I bet it was that dodgy soup Mark made.

Never again.

It’s not the soup.

Heck, it’s not got anything to do with food.

It’s Jisung.

Because how dare he look undeniably handsome and adorable at the same time during the full moon cycle? How unfair is that?

What right has he to look good — dangerously good — with his long, fluffy tail calmly waving behind him and his large, chestnut-brown wolf ears, that twitch ever so easily and perk up at every sound.

What right does he have to own the prettiest— no, the most sickeningly perfect — smile on the planet? And how dare he smile at Chenle like that?

And expect him to be ok about it?!

What?!

I mean.

Of course I’m ok about it.

Chenle gulps.

This is nothing.

I’m not admiring him.

I’m just acknowledging his phenomenal genetic build up. That’s all.

If anything, Mr and Mrs Park are to blame for this… masterpiece— CHAOS of a son.

“It’s nice out here.” The silence shatters, and so does Chenle’s train of thought. Jisung laughs softly under his breath, eyes filled with the glow of stars in the night sky.

Chenle can’t stop looking at them.

This is weird.

You’re being weird, Chenle.

He doesn’t reply. Can’t.

His eyes are fixed on way Jisung’s hair moves in the breeze. His mind’s gone blank.

“I see why you like it out here.” Jisung continues wistfully, taking in the beauty of the full moon.

Chenle looks down.

He wants to answer back.

He settles for a weak hum instead.

They sit like that for a bit longer. It’s quiet, but not heavy. The silence is comforting. And Chenle can almost admit that he doesn’t mind Jisung’s presence.

Almost.

Soon, Chenle’s mapping out constellations when he hears something.

A shuffle. A shift.

A certain someone moving closer.

Oh?

Out the corner of his eye, Chenle catches Jisung cautiously shifting closer. The younger male is biting his lips in concentration.

Chenle almost cackles.

The idiot thinks I don’t see him.

“What are you doing?” He asks, tone flat.

The alpha freezes mid-shuffle.

“Uh…moving closer?” Jisung shrugs, stating the obvious.

Well yeah, I think I figured that out, Sherlock.

Chenle sighs and leans back against his palms. “Ever heard of personal space?”

“I have.” Jisung nods, moving over once more before sitting. “But I just wanted to see you up close.”

Chenle raises his brow.

That’s odd.

“Uhm… ok?” He grumbles as their knees brush. “Put me under a microscope, why don’t ya.”

Jisung scoffs at Chenle’s usual sass. “I’m being honest. It’s harder to see your beauty in the dark, which is why I have to move closer.” He reasons.

Chenle doesn’t like the thing his heart does when Jisung says that.

He clears his throat in attempt to gain composure Wow. You sure know how to flirt.” He teases, but there’s a deeper emotion in it.

Bitterness? Perhaps.

Jealousy?

Yeah, no. Chenle wouldn’t call it that.

“How many other omega’s have you been flirting with this week? Four? Five?”

You.”

Chenle stops breathing.

That’s not a number

Jisung shifts around to face him. “Just you.”

And Chenle almost shudders. Because Jisung’s voice? Sweet like honey and dripping with honesty?

It’s too much.

Wayyy to much for a Friday night after college.

“Contrary to what you think, I don’t go around and flirt with just anyone, Chenle.” the alpha speaks, eyes never leaving the (flustered) omega. “And I mean what I say to you.”

Chenle tugs at his sleeves.

This is not how he expected tonight to go.

He was not expecting…whatever the heck this is.

But he decides to play it cool.

“S-sure you do.” He rubs his arm, faking nonchalance but the way his tail swings and his ears start to droop sends a different message.

“I mean it.” Jisung says firmly, voice deep enough to rattle with Chenle’s thoughts. Then, his eyes sparkle with the lightest sky blue. “And I think you’re stunning.”

Chenle’s eyes fly wide open in the dark.

What the fuck?

No.

That’s enough.

I quit.

Signing off.

Goodbye now.

“Do you always talk this much?!” Chenle hisses, shooting Jisung a dirty look as if he wasn’t just having a full system break down half a minute ago.

“Do your ears always twitch like that?” The younger male retorts back, grinning boyishly at the older male.

Chenle scowls at him. His hands shoot up to his hair and he desperately attempts and fails to hold his ears in place. “Shut up, loser.”

“Whatever you say, princess.”

“Don’t call me that!” Chenle complains, whining, pouting and shaking his head like a literal child.

Jisung finds it amusing. And cute.

“Alright, sweetheart.”

“You bitch—!”

“Damn. Calm down, honey.”

Park Jisung! I will actually—!”

“Actually what?” Jisung tilts his head and leans in.

Close.

Very close.

Their noses almost touch.

They hold each other’s gaze.

Chenle does not consent to the way his heart starts to slam against his ribs.

“What are you gonna do, baby?” The alpha slowly slides his hands up Chenle’s arms.

Throw you off this freaking rooftop.

That’s what I’m gonna do.

Yet Chenle doesn’t flinch. Doesn’t push Jisung away.

If anything, he melts into the touch.

And his heart may or may not have fluttered at the pet name.

Baby.

Baby.

How dare he!

“I-I...you…” he stutters out.

“Hm?” Jisung hums, sliding one hand up to cup Chenle’s warm face. “What was that?”

The omega’s breath catches in his throat.

The look in Jisung’s eyes isn’t instinct driven. It isn’t manipulative. It’s just real.

True feelings.

Like he’s feeling something for…

Me?!

And that’s when Chenle does something terrible.

His eyes flick down—

To Jisung’s lips.

His chest tightens and his brain shuts down.

What are you looking at?

What the actual fuck are you looking at!?

He panics.

Despite the fact he knows those lips…and what they can do… and has probably felt them too many times to feel casual about it.

But uh— I am casual about it.

This is just… a lot.

His tail flails around so fast it could fall off, and his ears aren’t much better.

He scowls.

And pushes Jisung away will all his force.

“What the hell!” He shrieks, falling back and curling in on himself. “I’ll kick your ass, that’s what I’ll do!”

Jisung falls back onto the concrete with a grunt that turns into laughter.

Because now he has the best view.

Of Chenle now frantically trying to grab his tail to stop it from betraying him.

Stoppp it~ STOP you stupid thing!” He whines, clearly losing a battle against his own body.

“Le, it doesn’t work like that.” The alpha chuckles, earning a quick glare from the omega.

“Fuck you— this is your fault!”

“Oh? So you’re saying you getting flustered is my fault?”

“I’m not flustered!”
Chenle yells, grabbing his twitching ears that won’t seem to calm down. “I’m distressed!”

“You’re blushing.” Jisung points out.

“No I am not! You’re hallucinating!”

“You’re so easy to tease. It’s cute.”

“Fuck off. Like actually.” Chenle grumbles.

He doesn’t mean it of course.

Because if Jisung really has the audacity to leave right in the middle of Chenle vs Omega instincts — then Chenle’s lost all hope in the world.

Not that he has much left.

But Jisung doesn’t leave. He just watches Chenle mutter curses and insults in an angry version of Mandarin as he demands his body to ‘stop pissing him off’.

And suddenly, the alpha has an idea.

Jisung sits up straight, ears standing tall. “Come here.”

The omega freezes completely.W-what?”

“Come over here.” He repeats, patting his thigh.

Chenle squints at him. “I’m not a dog.”

Jisung raises a brow at him.

How ironic.

“Just come here. I’ll make you feel better.”

“I’m feeling quite fine right here, actually.”

Chenle.” Jisung’s voice deepens.

And Chenle thinks that’s the hottest thing ever—

No it’s not!

“Fine, you weirdo.” Chenle acts annoyed, but his heart is no doubt beating faster.

As he moves over, Jisung’s smile widens. It’s nearly adorable.

Soon, he’s sat right in front of him, eyes fixated on the floor. He doesn’t know what’s going to happen. He doesn’t know what Jisung’s going to do.

But he trusts him.

Even if he doesn’t say it out loud — he trusts Jisung.

“Can I touch your ears?” Jisung asks softly.

If it wasn’t for the full moon, Chenle would be judging him severely right now.

“W-why?” The omega squeaks out, face scrunching up when he feels his wolf ears perk up as if they like the sound of attention.

Fucking traitors.

“Because it’ll help your instincts calm down.”  The alpha reasons, slowly reaching out.

Chenle tenses as he watches Jisung’s hand travel closer to his hair. “Well…f-fine. Just do it.”

Chenle swears he hears Jisung squeak out a giggle of pure joy.

What a happy fool.

The moment Jisung’s hand brushes his hair and his fingertip touches his ear, Chenle thinks he’ll never be the same again.

He flinches at the shock of it, and almost curls away if it isn’t for the hand holding him steady on his shoulder.

“You ok?” He hears Jisung murmur.

He hesitates before whispering back.“Y-yeah…”

Then, Jisung starts carding his fingers through Chenle’s hair, right down to the back of his neck. And he does it over and over until he feels the omega stop shuddering at every touch, and starts leaning into it instead. His short nails scratch Chenle’s scalp just right and just enough to make him sigh and involuntarily move closer.

“Feels nice?” Jisung’s voice is warm, kind, and enough to make Chenle’s ears drop.

“Mhmm~” he hums, lashes fluttering.

It does feel nice. It feels safe.

Chenle always feels safe with Jisung.

A lazy grin settles on Jisung’s face. Seeing Chenle like this…is everything. For once, Chenle’s not at his throat or threatening to haunt him, and whilst riling him up might be Jisung’s second favourite hobby, his first is having Chenle like this.

Soft. Relaxed. Trusting.

And cute. Duh.

“Does this…massage thing only have one setting?”

Jisung rolls his eyes, but his smile doesn’t fade.

Of course he likes the omega’s bratty side too.

“I didn’t know you liked it that much.”

Chenle peers up at him, eyes wide, shining a warm, pink glow through his bangs. “Don’t let it get to your head.”

Jisung smiles down at him, his heart doing the absolute most before he cautiously scratches behind Chenle’s twitching ear.

The omega flinches, ducking down and dodging the alpha’s hand. “Hey— ah! Not the ears— Jisung!”

“Just hold still for one second…” Jisung whispers patiently, fingers still rubbing behind Chenle’s ear.

Chenle huffs. And pouts. And gives Jisung the coldest glare of the night. “Y-you weirdo! Why the ears!?” He whines, squirming away when the alpha’s other hand reaches out.

“It’ll feel nice, I promise.” The alpha says, calm as ever.

“N-no!” Chenle shakes his head, ears flopping at the movement. “I’m never getting a massage here again. Consider me an unhappy client.”

“Consider me an unhappy business. This client never pays.” Jisung strokes the back of his ear once more.

Jisung.” Chenle warns, trying to sound intimidating but there’s weakness in his voice.

“Yes, baby?”

Chenle lets it slide this time.

“Touch my ears one more time and I will ruin your potential bloodline.” He grits out, ears flicking.

Jisung doesn’t even bother. He pulls Chenle closer, head bumping into his chest, before scratching behind an ear.

“Jisung! Y-you—oh.”

Chenle cuts himself off with a sigh.

Why was that… nice?!

“W-wait…do that again.” He says quietly, leaning into the touch.

Jisung complies with a grin of course, scratching the right spot again until Chenle’s humming in satisfaction and leaning fully into his chest.

“You see? It’s not so bad, is it?”

“Y-yeah…whatever. Just do it again…” Chenle’s voice is muffled by the fabric of Jisung’s sweater.

The alpha huffs out a laugh, fingers tracing circles and other little patterns through Chenle’s hair and behind his ears. “You’re cute.” He breathes out, voice laced with affection Chenle doesn’t think he’s ready for.

“I’m not. Be quiet.”

“You are~” Chenle forces back an eye roll in response to the younger boy. “And your ears are adorable on you.”

Adorable?

You think these little shits are adorable?

“They are not adorable. They’re irritating.” He answers back, fingers fiddling with the hem of Jisung’s sweater.

Jisung frowns down at him.“They’re a part of you.”

I know.

And that’s the worst part.

“Exactly. That’s why I hate them.”

“I don’t hate them.” The alpha slows his hand movements. “I like them.” He says with seriousness in his tone.

Chenle tilts his head up at him for a moment. His eyes fall on Jisung’s again.

Stop.

Look away.

“Pfft.” He scoffs, eyes darting to the side. “That’s because you’re—”

The words die in his throat.

Because Jisung tilts his chin up, cups his face, and looks directly into his eyes.

Chenle’s never felt more exposed.

More seen.

He can’t even blink before Jisung—

“I like you.”

Chenle’s chest tightens.

His tail curls behind him, embarrassed.

He’s heard those words before.

Jisung’s said those words before. Many times.

And it scares Chenle.

Because the more he hears it, the closer he gets to believing it.

A silence passes between them. They’re close, but none of them move. Chenle could run away…but he doesn’t. He’s trapped in Jisung’s firm gaze, lost counting the stars in his eyes and pulled in by the magnetic deep blue that glimmers out of them.

He finds himself clutching tighter onto Jisung’s clothing, like an anchor keeping him tied to this moment.

What is happening…

And then he catches it.

Jisung’s eyes dropping to his lips.

And they stay there.

Chenle gulps.

Maybe it’s the nerves. Maybe the anticipation. Or maybe it’s something more stirring inside him.

And before he can think rationally about it, he’s grabbing Jisung’s sweater and pulling him in until their lips are flushed together.

He feels Jisung hesitate and freeze at first.

But Chenle doesn’t care.

He squeezes his eyes shut, gripping onto Jisung like a lifeline. He kisses him, over and over, as if he’s pressing everything he doesn’t know how to say onto his lips.

Kiss me back.

Please.

It takes a few more small pecks until he feels Jisung snap out of his trance and finally kiss back. Jisung’s lips move slowly against his, deep and careful, like he has all the time in the world to memorize the shape of Chenle’s mouth.

The omega’s sighing into the kiss before he even processes it. His hands are too busy dragging Jisung impossibly closer like he needs to feel him. He’s losing himself and he knows it.

And it should scare him. It used to scare him.

But now?

The fear doesn’t stop him.

Jisung’s hands are still cradling his face. His thumb brushes in small circles under Chenle’s eye. And then, being the menace he is, Jisung bites Chenle’s bottom lip — just because.

Chenle jumps, letting out a suprise whimper that makes Jisung smirk against him. His brows furrow and he tugs Jisung nearer with enough force to make the alpha almost fall onto him.

Two can play this game.

But then—

Jisung’s hands.

One sneaks down to Chenle’s thigh, and slides up and down, teasing the hem of his shorts. The other goes to his side, squeezing gently through the hoodie, just to make Chenle squirm, just to hold him there.

And Chenle lets him.

Chenle’s fingers slide up to the alpha’s shoulder and further to grip the strands at the base of his neck. He twirls them between his fingers, before tugging lightly. Jisung hums faintly, the sound making Chenle’s stomach twist.

Jisung’s now stroking the inside of his thigh in a way he knows makes Chenle crazy — every time. And it works, as expected, because Chenle shudders. Full body. Involuntarily.

And Jisung feels it — the shiver, the little whimper in the back of his throat.

Jisung takes that as a chance to feel him more. His arm wraps around the omega’s waist and the other guides his thigh until Chenle’s fully seated on his lap, straddling. It happens swiftly, smoothly, like they’ve done this before.

They have.

They pull away for a moment, eyes locked. Chenle’s thighs bracket Jisung’s hips and his hands grip the younger’s shoulders. Chenle feels dazed, and out of breath.

Just from a few kisses?

Pathetic.

You’re better than that, Chenle.

“You’re shaking.” Jisung whispers, leaning in so their lips brush.

“I’m not.” Chenle whispers back.

He knows he’s lying. His whole body feels like it’s on fire, like his nerves ignited just from Jisung’s touch. He feels the alpha watching him closely, reading his expression.

It makes him nervous.

“What?”

“Nothing. Just admiring.” Jisung smiles, shifting Chenle further into his lap to kiss him again

Chenle squints at him, but still lets Jisung kiss him.“I like you better when you’re kissing me.” His voice muffles against Jisung’s lips.

“I like you all the time.” The alpha sighs out between kisses.

Chenle’s fingers flex against his sweater.

Stop saying that…

You’re making me…feel things.

“….Shush.” He hushes him, eyes fluttering shut when Jisung’s kisses grow hotter, deeper and more breathtaking.

Slowly, Jisung coaxes his mouth open, exploring with a passion that makes Chenle shake in his hold and makes his hands fly up into his hair. Each precise flick of his tongue makes Chenle tremble and gasp.

The omega hates the way the alpha’s got him wrapped around his finger.

…but he loves it too.

The kiss turns hungry — lips parting in shared gasps, chests rising and falling in sync — heated and desperate but not rushed.  Jisung’s hand drops from his sides to his waist, giving him a gentle squeeze before slipping under his hoodie.

And the sound Chenle makes is unmistakable.

If any poor soul was to walk by them right now, they’d know.

Jisung’s palm is flat and warm against his lower back — until it travels. Up his back and down it again. Palming his waist, and then up his toned stomach. His hand leaves a trail of sparks and turns Chenle into a beautiful mess.

Shakily, Chenle’s hand finds its way down Jisung’s nape, slides down his arms, and finally finds and rests on his chest.

Right over his racing heart.

His heart’s… beating so fast.

….for me?

Oh god.

His fingers twist into the fabric, like he’s trying to hold onto something he just can’t touch.

And Jisung?

He brings his hand over Chenle’s and holds it there.

Like he’s trying to make Chenle feel what he’s feeling.

Chenle’s breath stutters. He almost forgets how to breathe.

It’s too intimate.

But it’s also too perfect.

“J-Jisung…” Chenle breathes when Jisung’s lips brush his cheek.

“Hm?” Jisung hums, dipping his head to start kissing his neck.

Just kissing.

Soft, slow, reverent presses of lips along his jaw, nose brushing over where Chenle’s sugary-sweet scent is strongest. He takes his time, pressing firmer kisses over old marks from previous nights— that he definitely left.

He nips lightly over the exposed area of shoulder from where the omega’s hoodie slips. Chenle isn’t able to conceal the tiny moan that escapes him and lands right into Jisung’s ear.

He’s so…

I…

I need to say something….

“I…” Chenle freezes before he can finish his sentence.

I… don’t know what to say.

He doesn’t remain lost in thought for too long when he feels Jisung start to suck gently on the sliver of collarbone that peeks out from beneath his clothes. His toes curl and his ears jerk up as the alpha’s tongue touches his skin.

His tail goes still for one horrifying second.

Then flops onto the floor with a soft thud and he tugs Jisung close by the hair.

“Oh s-shit—” he gasps, lashes fluttering when Jisung leaves another mark. His face a bright red and he’s glad it’s too dark for Jisung to notice.

It’s just the moon.

Just the full moon he tells himself.

But he’s already tilting his head to give Jisung more access, practically inviting him to kiss him everywhere.

And Chenle would let him.

Chenle would let Jisung kiss him just about anywhere and that terrifies him.

Because that means he’s weak. For an alpha— no. For Jisung.

He’s too dazed by the wonders Jisung’s lips are doing to his brain to full acknowledge the hand that tugs his hoodie further up or the hand the fiddles with the zip.

Until it unzips.

Slow and deliberate.

Chenle cracks one eye open.“W-what are you doing?”

“I just wanna see you.” Jisung answers, voice low and confident for someone who’s face is burning up.

His eyes linger on the bare, fair skin underneath before he dips lower, lips trailing soft, wet kisses between Chenle’s collarbones before inching down his chest. He kisses — worships — the omega’s skin until he reaches the zipper.

He peeks up at Chenle to see the more gorgeous sight — head falling back, neck painted with reminders of Jisung’s presence, lips bitten red, breaths coming out ragged and mixed with whines.

God…” Jisung says it as if all the air has been knocked out of his lungs. “You’re everything.”

Chenle’s breathing hitches at that. His traitorous ears wiggle in on response.

Everything?

“Stop talking and just—” Chenle snaps, panting.

But then, he’s pulling Jisung in again. Hard. Shaking. Mouth open. Hands tangled in his hair. Thighs tightening around his waist like he needs the contact.

Their kisses turn sloppy, hot and too full of everything unsaid. He doesn’t even take into account the way he moans so shamelessly between their lips when Jisung tightens his grip on his waist. His breathing picks up more when Jisung shifts his hips, tilting up just a little but just enough to make Chenle feel butterflies rage in his stomach.

Chenle’s quivering by the time the alpha’s kisses slow down and turn into calming pecks. His hoodie is still pushed up and sliding off one shoulder and he’s not sure Jisung’s in a much better state with his sweater crumpled and his hair tousled up.

The younger male leans back slightly and the older follows without hesitation, burying his face into the crook of Jisung’s neck, nosing and breathing in his rich scent.

It sets Chenle’s swirling mind at ease.

He’s still breathing fast. They both are.

But they’re together and that’s all that matters.

But this doesn’t mean anything.

It can’t.

“You ok?” Jisung asks, voice muffled as he kisses the top of Chenle’s hair.

Gross.

But… cute. I guess.

“Fine.” Chenle answers quickly, trying to hide the tremor in his voice that betrays how shaken he is by…that.

Now is the time to run away.

End this moment.

Go back to being alone like he originally planned.

…but Jisung’s arms feel so warm around him.

The way the alpha’s cuddling him, firm yet warm. The soft strokes he’s receiving down his thigh. And the fingers running through his hair and brushing it off his sweaty forehead.

How the hell is Chenle supposed to run away from that?!

He nuzzles closer instead, sighing with mild content as Jisung’s scent gets stronger. “You smell nice~” he hums without thought, lips brushing skin.

It catches Jisung off guard. His fingers freeze in Chenle’s hair. His lips part as if to speak, but nothing comes out.

Maybe he shouldn’t question it. Maybe he should just enjoy the softness of the omega right now — for as long as it lasts.

They fall silent. Not awkward — just comfortable. The moon and its bright glow is the only thing watching them.

Chenle feels his eye lids begin to feel heavy.

He almost yawns.

Nuh-uh.

No way.

We are not falling asleep in an alpha’s lap.

The omega clears his throat, ignoring the little voice inside his head telling him to sleep. Right there. In Jisung’s embrace.

I think the fuck not.

“To be honest…I kinda wanted to be alone, tonight.” He starts, voice layered with exhaustion — Jisung picks it up immediately.

His hand brushes through Chenle’s hair at a softer pace, like he’s trying to lull him to sleep.

Showing him that he’s safe here.

“But this is fine….I guess.” Chenle continues, forcing his eyes open with all the willpower he has left.

But sleep… sleep just sounds so good right now.

He’s warm. Cuddled up and cozy.

Has a hand running through his hair and another holding him tight.

And so, his eyes begin to close.

And his breathing begins to even out.

His tail flops. His ears drop.

And now Jisung’s left with a sleepy omega curled up in his lap.

He grins, face flushed with blush as he looks down at Chenle, who’s completely wiped out and is starting to let out tiny snores. Jisung’s heart melts and his tail wags like a lovesick puppy at the way Chenle’s cheek is squashed up against his shoulder.

His heart always melts around Chenle.

And that’s why he always goes out to find him.

In hope that one day, Chenle will be the one to run to him.

“Meet me by the moon, next time.” He whispers to the sleeping boy, running his thumb under his eye.

Jisung smiles down at him once more, heart full of everything he feels for this boy.

“And then… we can be alone together.”
