Work Text:
Aziraphale rarely slept. But, now that him and Crowley were free and together, he decided he’d start to give it a go.
Crowley had always been very fond of sleeping; to the point where he’d slept an entire century away.
So here he was, lying comfortably beside Crowley in their shared bed of the cottage. He sat up, book in one hand and his other in Crowley’s hair.
“Angel, go to sleep.” He murmured into his chest.
Cuddling had become a part of their routine. It was delightful. So warm and inviting.
“Just a moment, darling. Let me finish this chapter.” Aziraphale said, grinning at his clingy serpent of a husband.
So he finished the chapter and placed the book down on the bedside table before shutting off the lamp with a click.
“Ngk, finally.” Crowley muttered, tracing the flesh around his ribs with his fingertips.
“So impatient, my dear.” Aziraphale whispered in a soft kiss to his temple.
“‘M a demon, ‘course I am.” Crowley mumbled again, burying his face farther into his plush torso.
Aziraphale chuckled. “Good night, Crowley. I love you.”
“Mm, love you too. Goodnight, Angel.”
