Xuan Ji didn't know what to expect; she heard so much about it from overheard passersby, and that was where her curiosity overrode both fear and anguish. She had to sneak through the crimson red of the city, straight into the entertainment district, unseen by those who could recognize her.
She saw her, the one named Jian Lan, who was brash as she was beautiful. She knew what she wanted, and she never let anything, or anyone get in her way. Xuan Ji envied such an attitude, and she could not let such a chance pass her by, after such heartbreak.
She found herself in a private room, with the very woman herself, and she lay down in the bed, with only pitter-pattering heartbeats in her chest. No regrets were held when such a ravishing beauty straddled her waist, her eyes tinged with intrigue and cunning.
Jian Lan couldn't help the grin growing on her porcelain features, knowing fully well that Xuan Ji was more than willing to be hers for the night.
"This is going to be so very entertaining, wouldn't you agree?"
Xuan Ji nodded. "Oh, most certainly, I'm yours for tonight."
"Good girl." Jian Lan then leaned forward, and her lips soon kissed Xuan Ji, who was more than happy to return the favor.
She knew she could forget.
