Lily- 19 half demon half angel short black hair pale skin
Rosa- 23 angel long dark red hair in a ponytail tan
I lay perfectly still my stomach dripped blood with a steady flow like a slow stream. The grass I lay on was wet with dew but I tried to focus my attentions elsewhere as I look at the gorgeous night sky and the full brightly shining moon. Time had felt like it slowed completely. I tried to hold back tears but they had already started to roll down my cheeks. I felt a looming presence behind me but my dizziness from blood loss blurred my vision too much to see who it is. —————————————————————————- That’s when I could make out one thing. Her eyes her ocean blue eyes, that I used to get lost in. But, also the same ocean blue eyes that had, stabbed me with nothing but cruelty. She was my own wife betraying me, in such a crude manner. “I’m sorry… I’m so sorry…. please don’t die… NO NO! You can’t, you won’t! Lily please get up! What did I do… I love you, please…” I heard my wife Rosa choking out, my name as I slowly faded into unconsciousness. How could she love me and, try to murder me in cold blood? I felt a soft kiss on my lips, as she put her hand on my stomach, to stop the blood that was now gushing out. I watch her rip her white skirt, just for a makeshift bandage, that she tied tightly around the wound to stop the bleeding. The bandage would feel almost suffocating, if I wasn’t already bleeding half to death. A slight gasp exits my swollen lips as I feel myself being picked up. —————————————————————————- I tried to muster up a response anything to say, but all that came out were choked sobs. Despite all that had happened, Rosa’s arms still brought comfort, and a slight warmth to me. I stare at the moon and stars as, my vision fades to black. Was I really going to end like this? In such a pathetic way? —————————————————————————- My mind was flooded with memories from the night before, as I slowly gained consciousness again. As my eyes, gain focus again I recognize the familiar room; it was my shared bed with Rosa. Despite the pain, the blankets were surprisingly comforting. I brush my short obsidian colored hair out of my eyes. I slowly sit up, the pain in my stomach feeling like a million knifes stabbed me at once. The door creaked open… —————————————————————————- Rosa walked in with a worried, but relieved expression. “Oh my gods! Lily! Your ok! I was so worried I had lost you! I’m so sorry my love, I didn’t mean too… I’m sorry darling, I love you so much..” Rosa frantically exclaimed, as if she wasn’t the one to try to murder me. I felt sick at the thought of her attempted assassination. Despite her cruelty, I still loved her I’d always love her no matter how cruel she was. “I love you too” I say with a pained smile.
