“You came here just to hear me rant about random things?” Smile huffed incredulously, voice still light and somewhat amused.
“Yes,” X smiled genuinely at him, longingly, because nothing sounded better than that. He would gladly spend the next eternity or two simply sitting by Smile’s side, hearing his voice, listening to his laugh, his small chuckles, that little snort-like sound he did when he choked on thin air in amused surprise. He wanted to listen to him, cradle the sound to his chest, memorize it…
“I miss you,” X sighed against a warm shoulder.
He missed him everyday, every hour, every minute.

Segunda parte del otro fanfic Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar (SmileX) que me encantó también. Realmente el nivel de angustia es seria y profunda. El otro X necesita terapia urgente, de preferencia grupal y de inmediato. El hecho que sacrifique sus recuerdos para seguir adelante y ya no tener la tentación de buscar a Smile de nuevo es increíble, ese nivel de entrega es amor absoluto. Dejar ir al amor de tu vida (aunque sea otra versión) es doloroso pero lo es más aferrarte a algo que no funciona. Al final la felicidad de Smile vale más para el otro X y para X que ellos mismos.
Me gusto las otras versiones donde viajo el otro X para salvar a Smile, excpeto esa versión donde un X local era frío e insensible y nunca había sido amigo de Smile. Daba ganas de golpearle la cara. Por lo demás, muy bien.
Me fascino demasiado, el mejor ship de esta pareja.
