my submission for the danmei destination fanwork exchange 2025. i was given shen qingqiu as the character to focus on, and decided to go with a fantasy/mermaid au!
wanted to do a small comic initially but had a few setbacks along the way... i also haven't painted anything in a while but really enjoyed working on this one. hope you like it and happy new year goldenmorpho!!
