I hope that, upon completion of the Phoenix Program, you find yourself with more options than I ever did.” She says, more directly, “I hope you do not do this work at all.”
>Punch Up, startled at this declaration, turns to look at her. “I’m… surprised to hear ya say so.”
>Terror doesn’t have the facial features to emote, so she pushes a laugh through the vocalizer. “Not all heroes are like Blazer or Starry Night or—” she casts about— “that Mecha Man fellow and his dead family. Such an honor, they say, to bleed for the world that will turn on you when there is no more blood to get from that stone.”
>Punch Up is staring now.
>Terrordactyl tilts her head. “But, as you said, the rain clouds we manage and such.”
