It’s nothing, really. I’m just on night shift all week but I’ve had to take my car into the shop and I won’t get it back for a while. I was hoping maybe you wouldn’t mind carpooling for the week if we were on the same shift.

It’s Becca’s favorite sport! My dad used to take her to games a lot when we were little. It was their thing.
I’ve been wanting to take her to a see the Pirates since we moved to Pittsburgh but between my schedule and our tight budget it just hadn’t worked out before.

was the reformer class thing so transcendental yesterday that it got you thinking about the meaning of life?
No. I mean it was really challenging in a good way. It required both a lot of physical effort and mental focus so it helped me feel connected to myself. But I wouldn’t call it transcendental.

okay so i’ve never left the country before but that means i still get to experience it for the first time whenever it happens!
and sure my marriage didn’t work out but now i get to experience falling in love all over again. i get to relive the first stages of what that feels like. i get to look at someone and learn her for the first time, i get to memorize every part of her. i get to imagine a life with her and i hopefully get to build it.
last week i ate peruvian food for the first time in my life. i’m 32 years old and i had a type of food for the first time! isn’t that crazy?
I’ve actually never had Peruvian food before.

but you see what i mean? there’s all these things i still get to do for the first time
and even the things i’ve already done maybe i’ll get to do them better or just differently
