The photo of John was taken during his rookie season, and at some point, he’d signed it for the people at Double Play Cages. He’d been younger, and the differences are immediately obvious to Adam. His hair was shorter, not curling out from under his cap, his face was clean-shaven, and he was a bit more wiry. John still has a slim build, but looking between him and the photo, Adam can tell he’s put on some muscle over the years. It’s hard not to notice that he looks good. Anybody with eyes would notice that.
