PART 1
“Colossus will be on your team, Rogue.” Kitty stated with a knowing smirk. Rogue wouldn’t admit anything to her, but she had a feeling that Rogue had a crush on the ex-Acolyte. She hoped letting them team up in this danger room session would allow get them a chance to get to know one another.
“Let’s go Rasputin,” Rogue said with a pointed glare at Kitty, knowing exactly why Kitty did this to her. Just because they’d learned at a previous danger room session that he was more tolerant of her touch than the others, Kitty thought they’d belong together.
PART 2
“Take my power,” Colossus managed to say, his voice rough and out of breath. He’d been hit pretty hard protecting her from a particular nasty part of the danger room, and he could feel the darkness wanting to claim him but he wanted to tell Rogue that it was okay. She’d been hesitant to touch him for even a glimpse of his power but if she wanted to get out of this session without incident, she’d need to take some of it.
“Of course you’d say that,” Rogue huffed in anger before demanding “You better wake up.”
She touched him.
