And then Wei Ying’s eyes flutter open. He gasps dramatically as if he’s made a new discovery. He turns to Lan Wangji with something bordering on excitement edging into his grin. His breath smells like wine and spice and his voice is excited in the way it always is when he’s plotting a new prank or scheme. “Aiya! Lan Zhan!”
Lan Wangji feels something bordering on fear bubbling in his chest. “Mn?”
