Mafuyu almost never paid attention to holidays unless they were important dates like Kanade's and the rest of the group's birthdays.But after starting a relationship with Kanade and living with her for about a year under the same roof, Mafuyu began to attach more importance to all sorts of little things.The composer unobtrusively introduced the lyricist to new traditions, sharing them side by side. February 14th was one of the holidays that Mafuyu still didn't know how to properly approach.Kanade gave Mafuyu small gifts on every holiday, while the lyricist tried to understand her feelings and get used to new things. The composer contributed greatly to Mafuyu's understanding of herself, leading her to clearly decide: "This year, I need to reciprocate Kanade's feelings."
Choosing a gift was quite difficult. What if the composer didn't like it? Although, in reality, Kanade was happy with any gift from Mafuyu, even a simple gesture of affection. Asahina considered asking Mizuki or Ena to help her choose; they were clearly more likely to encounter the gift-choosing dilemma, but Mafuyu quickly dismissed the idea.She wanted to give the gift herself, to express her feelings for Kanade, even if she barely understood them herself. What could Kanade possibly like? Yoisaki doesn't wear accessories, finding them uncomfortable.
Kanade rarely reads books, let alone manga, which she's only heard about from Mizuki, when they ramblingly pour out all their emotions after reading one work. Her clothes also don't suit her; she wears the same thing over and over again. You'd think Yoisaki was born wearing them, she's had them for so long, and she clearly doesn't want to change them.
Plushies...That's an option. The composer often clings to Mafuyu in her sleep, doing it completely unconsciously. Asahina never objects, but perhaps Kanade wouldn't mind a cute toy friend replacing Mafuyu while she's at school or archery.Asahina had often heard from Mizuki and Ena about the shopping mall they frequented. The author of the text decided not to delay and went shopping for a gift.

Mafuyu had long since woken up, mentally preparing herself for moment should happen. The toy she chose was a cute white rabbit, vaguely reminiscent of Mafuyu Kanade. After some time, Asahina heard faint sounds from the composer's room, signaling her awakening.After waiting a bit longer, the door opened, revealing Kanade in her casual clothes.

Mafuyu shifted slightly, trying to hide the gift behind her back.
"Pretty good, I managed to rest more than last time... Is something wrong, Mafuyu?"
Of course, Kanade sometimes understood Asahina's emotions better than herself; she couldn't help but notice the slight tension in her shoulders, the hidden hands, and the slight blush on her cheeks.
"I have something for you, I hope you like it..." Mafuyu takes out a plush bunny from behind her back, handing it to Kanade. The composer looks at the gift in surprise, but after a while she smiles tenderly and takes it, carefully examining it.The white rabbit was very soft to the touch, its eyes were made of black buttons, and a small fluffy tail was flaunted at the back.Kanade was very happy with her girlfriend's gift; after all this time, Mafuyu really was starting to feel better.Mafuyu is still far from fully understanding herself, but every emotion that the lyricist puts into the song is immediately captured by Kanade. The composer cannot convey in words how much emotion she feels for Asahina, but for now she only wishes to be with her a little longer.Yoisaki approaches Mafuyu, enveloping her in a tender embrace. Asahina's arms wrap around Kanade, pulling her closer.
"Thank you so much, Mafuyu, this means a lot to me."
That day, Kanade was inspired like never before, something Mizuki and Ena noticed.
