“Curse Truth, Leto and any other god that people believe in, I hate the cold.” Ed grouched, huddling his arms around himself as Roy approached him, warm mugs of mulled wine in tow.
Roy kissed him on the nose and handed him one of the mugs, “Thank you for coming to the Winter Solstice market with me, anyway.” Warmth spread quick across Ed's skin and seeped through the rest, taking advantage of the multiple points of entry.
“Yeah well, I had to make sure you didn't buy anything stupid. Like anymore little reindeer figurines.”
After some negotiation (i.e. pouting and bribery), they did in fact come home with more reindeer figurines. But Ed got his revenge by purchasing a particularly burly looking garden gnome to stare down their neighbors.
