"Excited for your first day, Logan?~"
"You bet I am Spence!~"
Currently, two men, Logan & Spencer, were out walking together side-by-side on a walk path by a quiet road
Both men had very busy days ahead of them!
Spencer was wearing formal work clothes, the kind one would normally wear at an office.
Where was Spencer going? Unsurprisingly, the answer to that question is kinda predictable.
He was headed to work.
Specifically, he was headed to the nearby university where he was one of the Mathematics professors.
Spencer was super thankful to have a job that he was passionate about.
But, what he was even more thankful for was being able to go home to the love of his life after an exhausting, yet fulfilling, day of work.
Speaking of Spencer's love of his life, the Canadian Olympic swimmer, Logan, who Spencer met on Disventure Camp many years ago, also seemed like he had plans for today.
Logan was wearing a fresh smart casual outfit with a brand new backpack that contained his laptop
Where was Logan headed?
Surprisingly, the answer to that question was rather unpredictable...
Where was he headed? Well, Logan was currently on his way to his very first day of college!!!~
Indeed, Logan Bell has decided to further his education~
Why did Logan suddenly decide to go to college?
Well, even though Logan was well off as he had won enough money from Disventure Camp, he still didn't know what he really wanted to do in life
Sure, being an Olympic swimmer was fun and all, but Logan knew it wasn't something he would be able to do for the rest of his life, even if he wanted to.
No, Logan had to find something else to spend his life doing.
Currently, Logan did volunteer to teach swimming to children at his nearby community center.
He absolutely loved doing that too! Teaching children and seeing their happy faces really filled Logan's heart with warmth.
But, deep down, Logan felt like he wanted to do more...
Hence, after he got together with Spencer and saw how the love of his life was so passionate about his work, an inspirational fire was ignited inside of Logan
Indeed, via Spencer, Logan was inspired to go back to school~
Logan remembered how time flew by so quickly when Spencer would teach him academic stuff back at Stawaki Carnival.
Logan had an endless supply of fun listening to Spencer's practice lectures at home too.
Spencer made learning super fun too~
And, that is honestly why Logan suddenly came up with the idea to further his education
Logan considered all the possible degrees he could strive towards, and he ultimately decided on a teaching degree.
Logan himself absolutely loved the idea of teaching Physical Education, as well as swimming, to anyone willing to learn.
Plus, he really enjoyed volunteering to teach swimming too~
Logan vowed that volunteering was something he would never give up on
It's just now, he would strive to teach more stuff too! And, he would need some qualifications for that.
Thankfully, he had both Spencer & Richard to help him if he needed some more guidance
His entire family was rooting for him too~
Logan was so happy, he felt like he was on cloud nine!
Although, now that he was going to his first class, he was beginning to get a little nervous too...
As if he somehow sensed his nervousness, Spencer promptly asked
"Is everything okay, lad?"
Logan did his best to reply
"I'm good. It's just, I'm pretty old. What if I'm the oldest one in the class. I don't know, maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all..."
"Is that what you're worried about?"
Spencer began to laugh
Logan looked towards him with pleading eyes.
"Oh Lord Logan, that is absolutely NOTHING to worry about. Education has no age restriction~ In fact, I have students in my classes who are even in their fifties and sixties!"
Logan looked surprised by this fact
"Wait, really???"
"YES! And all of them are top-notch students too~ So please, don't worry about such a thing. Would you want older people who don't know how to swim to not even try to learn because of their age?"
"Of course not!"
"Exactly! So don't be so hard on yourself. I just know you are going to be amazing~ And..."
"And?"
Spencer seemed to blush before he continued
"And...I think what you are doing now is very heroic and brave. Showing the world that age should never get in the way of education is something that many people struggle with. In fact, there are probably many people like you who felt like they were too old to even try. So, the fact that you are setting a brave example right now, I don't know, I just find that to be very heroic of you..."
Spencer looked away from Logan feeling embarrassed about being so gushy
Logan let loose a super big smile and leapt towards Spencer to give him a super big smooch on the cheeks
Spencer squawked at the affectionate contact
Once Logan detached himself, he proceeded to express:
"I love you Spencer, you always know exactly what to say to make me feel better~"
"Haha, thank you Logan. I love you very much too~"
Logan gave him a very loving smile. He then gave Spencer a very cheeky smirk and then said
"Although..."
"Hm?"
"Sometimes, just sometimes, you can be a biiiiit of a know it all~"
"Oi!"
Logan began to run from his beloved with Spencer playfully chasing after him
Both men were laughing too~
Indeed, both men were looking forward to what the future would bring.
