Work Text:
"Parrot," he sighs, flicking through his barren hotbar with a tired, disappointed tone that reflected the earlier situation. He had insisted Parrot sleep while he would take watch, wanting to protect his bird. During that time, where Wifies had nearly fallen asleep on several occasions beforehand, they had been interrupted by an invisible player. The avian, having been forced to suddenly wake up, was groggy and slow. It didn't help that his wings, which were messy and beginning to dull from their previously stunning bright colors, weighed him down and prevented him from efficiently escaping.
You see, ParrotX2 had a very poor habit of not tending to his wings. While Wifies himself had never tried to offer, back in Farland Civilization another avian had tried to ask, although Parrot was quick to shut it down. Him, many other players, and even his companion himself, Wifies, had suggested to him to preen his wings. He said he would consider it, although it seemed to not even settle in his mind. Due to the poor condition of them, it was putting ParrotX2 into danger, and Wifies knew he had to change that.
Landing, the other tucked his wings in and fell to the ground, hugging it dramatically as the dog hybrid snorted, offering a hand to help assist him in getting back up. Parrot, once standing, turned in the direction they came from and pulled out his spyglass, looking into the distance. "You think they stopped following us?"
While not abandoning the subject, Wifies tucked the mental note away for an appropriate time, laughing a little. "I think so. Your little idea there was pretty smart. They'll probably be distracted with that for awhile. Maybe they haven't even realized we're gone."
Maybe the avian was like him, but ParrotX2 didn't seem very reactive to any form of praise. Wifies heavily enjoyed it - most likely from his hybrid being a dog, but suppressed his expression to it. He wondered if perhaps the other was the same way, but he most likely just received it too much to care for it. He'd either ask sometime, or sit down for just a second to determine the reasoning. It wasn't too hard to figure out Parrot.
The two sprinted the way back to their little home instead of flying, settling in comfortably to pointless conversation to pass the time. Just little things - some being about who the invisible player could be and if they were hired by someone, others about little ideas to add to their home to spice it up and make it more.. homey. Still, Wifies kept the reminder in his head - he would make sure Parrot wasn't putting himself in danger, and preening his wings. They'd probably begin to brighten back up again and look all pretty and neat, but, honestly? If they weren't a genuine danger to his bestfriend's safety, he wouldn't mind the messy wings. It kinda looked his style anyways, and Wifies just loved anything and everything about Parrot.
Once more, they stood in front of their home, far out from their previous position where they had been attacked - thank above for that, they'd relocated a little too much as of recently, and while Wifies didn't mind doing something like that a million times over so long as it provided safety for Parrot, it was definitely a hassle, and he'd prefer if their location wasn't constantly discovered. It would mean there was no risk present.
Parrot went to their storage area to dump some loot in the chests, completely unorganized. It didn't bother Wifies - he wasn't strict on organization and made quite a mess in the chests too. Maybe it'd be something for him to do sometime when there was nothing better and more productive, although Parrot seemed to have a few plans on what to build next, which he was currently gathering the materials for. They had just returned from their lives nearly being in danger, with Parrot being around half a heart more than once and bound to be completely exhausted. The bird was overworking himself without realizing it.
Finally focusing on tending to the avian's wings, Wifies' hand had wrapped itself around ParrotX2's wrist, slightly tight. The bird chirped a little and turned to look at Wifies, confused. "You good bro?"
"Parrot." He repeated, just like he had said when he was previously about to attempt discussing the matter. "I'm gonna preen your wings. Their condition is putting you into danger. We can build after."
"...Alright."
A bit surprised at how easy ParrotX2 had agreed to his demand, Wifies released his hold on Parrot's wrist and moved back, his expression fairly neutral as always, although showing a little bit of his surprise within his slightly widened eyes. The dog hybrid moved to the couch, the bird obediently following - a little ironic. Without needing to be told, ParrotX2 dropped to his knees, sitting on them and facing away from Wifies, extending one wing slightly to his best friend, which was gently picked up.
"Don't hold it out for too long. We'll need breaks. You have to switch sides a lot. Do- do you even know how to preen, bro? You're a dog."
His tail gently hitting the couch as if to prove it, Wifies let out one laugh. "I did my research. It's okay. Just let me know if it gets uncomfortable for you, alright?"
Parrot nodded his head, taking a deep breath as his companion began to smooth out misaligned feathers, fixing clumps and brushing away any dirt and debris on them. Parrot leans a little into the touch, causing Wifies to sometimes need to gently move his friend forward, resulting in an apologetic chirp every time - something that felt like a reward, and in return, Wifies' tail began to wag and therefore thump against the couch embarassingly loud.
He knew what areas to avoid - the underside of the wing and the base of his wing were places he knew to avoid on a bird, but it made him wonder. He already knew, duh, obviously - Parrot wasn't 100% bird of course. He hadn't been able to explore to what extent did his bird instincts go, and he knew Parrot himself wasn't entirely sure.
As Wifies' hands carefully moved through his wings, remaining true to his word and managing to skillfully take care of his left wing in his hands, Parrot's face was warm. While Wifies was doing good in avoiding his hormonal areas, the fact that he was preening his wings for him allowed the warmth of blush to crawl onto his cheeks, his head bowed - distracted in this fact, and too much so to realize how he did lean into it, instinctively chirping without meaning to once he snapped out of his trance. For parrots, including him being a hybrid of one, allowing another individual - bird or not, to do this was something only their bonded mates could do. It's why Theo hadn't been very insistent on when he declined his offer, knowing the reason. Was Theo trying to court him? Was that why he even asked in the first place? Or- well, he probably didn't know whether or not he had those instincts. Not the cockatiel's fault.
However, if Wifies did his research like he said, surely he knew the intimacy of this? Or was he unaware? Or just fine with it, or also not knowing he had those specific instincts? Or.. Parrot shook his head, resulting in a gentle and worried prod from behind him. After assuring the dog hybrid he was fine, Parrot continued waiting.
Was he enjoying this? Did he want Wifies or Theo to have been courting him? Theo he hadn't known very long, but it wasn't often he saw avian hybrids, and seeing any did bring a slight urge to flock. But he didn't wanna assume the bird genetics in Theo were as heavy as his own - for all he knew, Theo could have lacked instincts entirely, and therefore not know they existed.. But Wifies. Was he interested? He'd gone through heats around his friend before, in which his friend tentatively left him alone for awhile, still caring for him and bringing him food.. But.. Why- why is he even thinking of this stuff in the first place? Thoughts about Wifies like that usually only occurred during his heat.
Distracted in his thoughts, Parrot had been letting out several chirps, trills, and other sorts of bird sounds. The sounds pleased Wifies - the beautiful sounds his bird could make. Several times, his eyes drifted down to the undersides of his wings, fingers often getting close.
Before he could finish, his wing started to quiver, and Wifies set it down, leaning forward to rest his chin on Parrot's shoulder and softly speak 'other wing?' into his ear, sendings shivers down his back as he unfolded it, the warm breath lingering as hands returned once more into feathers, repeating the process.
Once that wing began to shake again, he switched back to the left side to finish up, with the last areas to preen specifically the feathers around the underside. He wasn't sure whether to tell Parrot, who seemed lost in thought, or to just go for it. There was a chance he wouldn't feel anything, although he did note that his best friend's wings quivered when open too long, beginning to make him think that maybe the underside of his wings were sensitive and hormonal.. However, he moved his hand down, and massaged a tense spot in his wings, carefully but with haste, eyes on his friend's visage.
He saw as Parrot's back slightly arched and he let out a soft yet audible sound, biting his lip as he glanced back to Wifies with furrowed brows, questioning.
"You have some stray feathers and tensed muscles I need to take care of."
"I can reach those myself."
"Parrot, darling, you haven't taken care of your wings at all. I know how you are. Let me do this for you."
He hated that nickname, and he hated how much it affected him. His face was already visibly pink enough, though the strength of the color nearly matched the brightness of his feathers. Wifies, pleased, continued, positive now, although wanting confirmation.. and to watch what it would to do his bird. Once more, the second he returned to that spot, Parrot muffled the sounds that resulted from it. Wifies paused once more and leaned forward again, feigning worry. "Does it hurt?"
Parrot slightly shook his wings, looking down a little to hide his face as he huffed. "Not really."
Smiling, the dog hybrid gathered Parrot's hands in one of his own, resulting in the avian panicking a little as Wifies grabbed ahold of his wing again and glided his hand through it teasingly, his other hand focused on rubbing circles on Parrot's knuckles. It was clear - Wifies knew what he was doing, and all Parrot could do was bite his mouth shut and try to be quiet. He wasn't sure why he wasn't stopping it- it felt good.. but, nonetheless.. he wasn't able to put it into words - he needed to stop Wifies, but all he did was fail to hide a rather loud moan as Wifies began to figure out how to abuse his sensitive spots.
Flapping his wing a little, Parrot began to get up, startling - not entirely uncomfortable, but unsure what else to do. Wifies allowed him to move, although the avian did not completely stand, just crouch in front of him with his head rotated to face him, forgetting to hide his reddened face as he showed Wifies his questioning expression. "Dude, what are you doing?"
"You said it doesn't hurt. It doesn't, right?"
"Are you, like, actually- bro- you said you did your research. You're doing this on purpose." Parrot spat, biting his lip afterwards as his eyes flicked around Wifies' face, examining it. The dog remained silent as he did so, enjoying the attention Parrot was giving him. Once his eyes had settled, then he spoke.
"Face me, Parrot."
When he did not comply, Wifies grabbed onto his sleeves - tracking Parrot's expression for any sign to genuinely stop, and while a bit of confusion and discomfort did flicker in his orbs, Wifies didn't see it as major signs. Plus, he wanted to do this. He'd been making moves for awhile, curious as to how long it would go until Parrot finally said something or confessed. Not that Wifies himself was scared to, but he stayed quiet. Simply for the entertainment.
Parrot, having been moved to directly face his best friend, shuffled his wings a little. Wifies had been acting strange - he wasn't too surprised his friend was worried about the condition of his wings, especially since he did know it was messing with his ability to move quickly, and he hadn't meant to agree when Wifies had demanded to do this - he wasn't sure what went through his mind, (probably nothing,) but if he had been thinking properly they wouldn't be here. It was too intimate for Parrot's liking.
His train of thought was broken when he choked out another noise. Wifies had caressed his underwing once again, and his hand had quickly moved to grab Parrot's chin, forcing him to make eye contact with him. The avian wriggled, though Wifies slid his thumb over Parrot's bottom lip while he had opened them with clenched teeth. His face began to warm even more again, flapping his wings. Unfortunately, doing so only encouraged his best friend to tighten it, but it quickly loosened as Parrot sharply squeaked, his wing closing before either of the two could blink, and Parrot's entire body flinched.
Apologetic, the dog hybrid raised his hands and whimpered. "Sorry, sorry. Accident."
The avian breathed heavily for a few seconds before his body relaxed, nodding a 'its fine.' Wifies wasn't sure whether to continue his advances, although Parrot looked pretty embarassed. It was honestly quite cute, although he did genuinely feel bad.
After some silence, Wifies picked up Parrot - slowly, as to not alarm the bird - and put him into his lap. He was going to do this today, even if it failed.
Once again, he began to gently drift his fingers over Parrot's wings - starting off in safe spots and slowly moving to places like his underwing, the innerwing, and the base of his flight feathers, looking up at Parrot to watch his reactions. The bird had begun to stop resisting, accepting defeat as he could only hide his sounds through clamping his mouth shut and panting to catch his breath. But Wifies wanted sound, and he wanted to make progress. He pushed his friend a little, positioning him on his knee and bouncing it as he brought a hand to the avian's back, pushing him to be a certain angle as his other hand continued to rub his wings.
Parrot looked beautiful. He looked on the verge of tears, hopefully not uncomfortable, his hands gripping onto the side of Wifies' pants for balance, his feet just dangling over the floor. His wings looked more tended to than his hair, which Wifies had brushed for him this morning. Maybe he thought he was sneaky, but the dog hybrid could feel him try to lightly push his groin down on Wifie's knee. If the bird wasn't too busy staring at his hands, maybe he'd see the knowing smirk on his best friend's face.
Humming, the hand on Parrot's back moved to his other wing, stroking just right, increasing the amount of times Parrot would pant.
"You're a.. bastard.. you know that."
"How so, darling?"
Parrot bit his lip, almost enough to draw blood as he hid another moan and looked up at Wifies pathetically. If Wifies didn't already have a boner, he probably would have gotten one right there. "You know.. that- fuck, that birds get aroused when you.. do that.. What are.. Why..?"
Pausing to bring a hand up to his bird's face, comfortingly caressing and rubbing it, Wifies smiled - purposeful, evil, calculated. He had his next sentence in mind before Parrot had even spoke up, fully intending to fluster him completely.
"You wanna cum for me from this, Parrot?"
The blood rushed to his face, impossibly making his face even warmer and red, sweat beginning to form as Parrot ducked his face down, whimpering. Wifies could feel the avian's dick hardening in his pants, and tugged at his waistband, questioning. While Parrot's whole face wasn't hidden, enough of it was facing down and not visible to the other. However, he nodded, and Wifies picked him up a little to pull it down. Once his pants were off, Wifies had already begun to take off his boxers, but noticed the avian's body language. He'd gone stiff and silent, eyes locked onto Wifies. The dog hybrid pulled him closer, embracing him in a hug and waited, whispering sweet words into his ears, only moving him again once his entire body had relaxed.
Wifies looked with concern into his eyes. He wanted this - needed this, even. But he wasn't gonna do anything, at least, not yet, without Parrot being alright with it. This was just baby steps to him, anyways. There were so many scenarios he wanted to play out with his bird, but this happened to be the first thing they'd do - the first, if Parrot would allow it. He must have gotten too frightened once Wifies was about to completely expose his lower half. His tail, wagging the entire time, had picked up a little - maybe Parrot really was a virgin. He could take that. Wifies would absolutely love to do that, even.
The bird swallowed rather loudly, looking away again. "Okay. Go ahead."
Excitedly, the dog hybrid lifted him again and slipped off his boxers with ease, immediately looking at Parrot's cock, leaking precum and hard. He wanted to jerk off Parrot, hear him whine as Wifies refused his climax and had him beg, but he had other plans. He pushed Parrot forward and connected their lips sloppily, unsure of how to do it, but wanting it done. Parrot hadn't expected it, and had gone to chirp as a surprised response, but was silenced as Wifies began to push saliva into his mouth, his canines nibbling where they could before dragging his tongue around the entirety of the other's mouth. It moved over every tooth, even smushing their face together to let Wifies move his tongue far enough to trigger Parrot's gag reflex. They were sharing the same breath, and- geez, with everything, once he got Parrot to cum, he'd probably have to jerk off. Maybe he'd test his luck and see if Parrot would even let him do it on his face. That sight would probably give him a second boner.
Quickly shoving a bit more of his saliva into Parrot's mouth, Wifies broke apart from the kiss, smiling proudly as Parrot panted desperately for breath.
"You're so beautiful, Parrot. You know that? My beautiful bird." He dragged a hand under everything Parrot was wearing on him - a shirt, jacket, pouch, two bandanas, and the necklace he'd given him awhile back. His thumb toyed with his nipple before quickly becoming bored, returning to both wings and bouncing his knee.
Immediately returning to hiding his sounds, Wifies gently reprimanded his bird before continuing, trying to find the best spot to touch as Parrot clenched onto Wifies for life, probably a bit scared to loose focus and tilt over. It would be a bit embarrassing to hit the ground right now.
Finally settling on a method, Wifies stretched Parrot's wings a little, his arms slightly uncomfortable with how they had to be held to continue as he dragged his nails through soft feathers, almost too focused on it to see Parrot remove one of his hands to move to his cock. Wifies was quick to move, quickly gripping them as he had earlier, smiling tauntingly. "Come on, dear. You can do this. Don't touch yourself yet. You can cum from just me touching your wings, can't you? Won't you do it for me, darling?"
Cursing the pet names, Parrot let his hands go limp, nearly falling when Wifies suddenly let go, his grip tightening once he was able to get ahold of his yin-yang sweater. "I- I don't know, Wifies! Why would I- fuck.." He broke off, moaning loudly, unable to hide it since he had been speaking at the time, his mouth completely open. Wifies congratulated him, praising him before continuing to speak motivation.
By now, Wifies had done everything to make Parrot completely horny. He felt like he'd die if his cock didn't receive any attention soon. How did it even come to this..?
While Wifies' arms did begin to tire, he was fully confident on trying to get Parrot to cum just from his wings being touched and overstimulated. It took several minutes, in which Parrot had begun to cry to the overstimulation. The other comfortingly licked his tears, basking in the scenery of what was a crying Parrot. Crying because of him. Because he refused to let him touch himself - although he'd have to pocket the idea of making his best friend jerk off in front of him.
Finally, Parrot begun to hiccup and clench his thighs, which put pressure on Wifies' leg. Slightly more motivated, he watched Parrot's visage like it was life or death as he moved his position a little, speaking teasing words to his friend. After a few seconds of it, the avian begun to beg, pleading for attention, choking out sobs and slurring Wifies' name. He resorted to comforting, encouraging words, telling Parrot he could do it.
With a loud moan of the other's name, Parrot came, white liquid shooting all on Wifies' sweater. Everything was perfect. He was going to have this scene engraved into his mind permanently. He'd had gotten his best friend to come while bouncing on his knee all over his sweater, stroking his wings, sobbing.
"You did so good, Parrot. You did so good for me, my little bird.." He poked a finger on his sweater, grabbing some of the semen and tasting it before scooping more up and offering it to Parrot, who was too exhausted and in his thoughts to do anything but half-awarely give it a questionable glance. He shrugged, licking it off and letting the avian balance on his knee as he took his sweater off, tossing it on the floor for now as he contemplated. Parrot was probably too exhausted and needed to process a bit. He'd probably be cool with taking a nap, or Wifies could let him bathe.. The bird would probably feel awkward getting his pants on, or sleeping with his dick completely exposed..
However, Wifies went with the option he wanted, pulling Parrot onto his chest as he stretched out, humming and whispering a variety of things to his bird.
They could figure things out tomorrow..
...
Staring down at his friend on his chest, who apparently hadn't chose to put his boxers and pants back on, Wifies carefully moved his friend, laying him on the couch as he shrugged his own pants off. He hadn't been able to take care of his boner earlier, choosing to just prioritize Parrot. But, with his friend being asleep, he had an opportunity to take care of it. He still had everything perfectly captured in his mind, and had a vivid enough mind to conjure an image of him spilling his cum all over Parrot's pathetic face. Which, of course, is exactly what he did.
Quietly, Wifies stalked over to their bathroom, wrapping his hand around his own cock and pumping it a few times. One day, hopefully sooner than later, he would perform all the scenarios he was picturing in his mind right now - bending Parrot in several different positions, fucking his face, cumming all over it, breeding and filling him, knotting in him, forcing his cum down his throat.. He huffed, tail wagging as he continued to pump. As expected, despite how he was jerking off to the ethereal sight and fictional images of his best friend, it took awhile before he came, collecting it in his hand and licking it. One day, Parrot would taste him. He'd be the only person he'd taste, ever, aside from himself.
Parrot was a sight he'd gatekeep if he could. Unfortunately, he did not have that privilege. It wouldn't stop him, though. He'd breed him into submission if he had to. Maybe Parrot would get irritated or there'd be a scenario where he'd top Wifies. That sounded hot.
Crawling back onto the couch, Wifies did his best to not wake Parrot as he layed back down on the couch, moving his friend to be on top of him again. He could fuck him in his sleep, hump him.. he'd probably wake up, maybe even be disgusted. He could drug him. For now, Wifies wouldn't do that. Not yet. There was a chance maybe his best friend would ask for it. He'd leave his mark all over Parrot.
That was his bird.
