Lilia, a 700 yr old fae who's more than familiar with the short lifespan of humans, chose to raise & love a human son. As a young fae (around 100yrs) who's been sheltered most of his life, he's not as accustomed to the shortness of human life. He's aware that someday his adorable little brother (& knight) will leave him someday, but only in 80 years??? In such a short time??? And that's IF Silver dies to old age, what about other external factors? Like in an untimely accident that could possibly happen in an earlier time, maybe even now! Malleus is very worried and scared. He'd want to keep Silver with him at all times, so he could protect him. And that's where conflict arises between him and Lillia.
