Summary
The rate at which the new colonies have been growing is uncanny. Arthur and Francis, after a long series of negotiations, decide that they ought to breech their sons together. The children are growing up.
Centuries later, Arthur reminisces.
(Breeching was a process between the 16th and 18th century by which young boys, who were raised in dresses identical to those worn by young girls, were finally allowed to wear pants.)
