   Summary

   James made himself and Sirius friendship bracelets in their second year and charmed them so they wouldn't break. He made sure they could still have them on when they became animagi in their fifth year.
   Sirius would grip hard onto it in his cell in Azkaban years later, hoping to all that is holy that the dementors don't take that memory away from him too.
