Summary
A group of human worshippers in a socialist pikmin society inadvertently alter the destiny of their entire species, sending them into an apocalyptic war for survival against an omnicidal enemy. Six main characters coming from different backgrounds each contribute, in their own small way, to shaping the ultimate outcome. How many lives will ultimate victory cost? How high can that number go before the will to fight is lost? Can pikminkind persevere, or are they doomed to extinction?
