In the recent Instagram update, Golden Boy of Canada, Player and Captain of the Montreal Metros, Shane Hollander was spotted wearing a ring, which is being suspected as an engagement ring. Mr. Hollander posted several pictures from last weekend, enjoying some time away from his hectic hockey-eccentric schedule. Fans were quick to spot a golden ring on his ring finger, in one of the pictures

Shane Hollander, born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, has always kept his personal life very private. He has been barely seen out with women unlike many of his counterparts. Except a very scrutinized relationship with Award-winning Actress and Model Rose Landry, Mr. Hollander has never been public with his relationships. He has led the Montreal Metros to 3 cups, 2 of which were back to back in the years-2015  and 2016. He has been often described as “too good for his own good”, “overly-discinplined” and “no fun to hang with”. He is notorious in hockey circles for not drinking or clubbing. All these have led to him being dubbed as a “hockey robot”. As a result, this ring sighting is very surprising but not so surprising at the same time for fans.

Many say that it is time for him to settle down, while others think it is very out of the blue. Many speculate it could just be a normal ring but others argue Hollander has never been spotted wearing accessories like these before! But the player himself has not addressed the situation till now. Is this just a new fashion development or really an engagement soft launch?
