I’ve had a few comments recently asking about the current status of Five Little Words, the second part of this monster fic I’ve apparently undertaken. 😅 It made more sense to add a note here for everyone to see, rather than replying to each person individually with the same message . . . so here we are.
As of now, Part 2 is around 90-99% complete. I reached a point where I was getting a little blind to it and couldn’t see the woods for the trees, so I’ve taken two months off to write a shorter piece for another fandom . . . but then I’ll be crossing the I’s and dotting the T’s on Five Little Words, so to speak. The fic was originally written purely from Merlin and Arthur’s POV, as the last one was . . . . but my wonderful beta, AslansGirl13, encouraged me to add in some scenes from Morgana’s perspective in order to help the pacing throughout. I know she’s 100% correct – but I feel as if I should offer you all the choice, since this has already been delayed for so long. So here are the options – would you rather I finish up the epilogue and post it as it is within a month or two, or take the time to add in the third perspective and increase the wait time? I can’t guarantee that the experience will be quite as good with the story as it is, but the guilt of taking two years on this is starting to set in. 🙈
If there are any Uncharted fans here, that’s the shorter piece I’ll be posting sometime this month. Apparently I have a “thing” for beautiful men who would do anything for each other. If I had a therapist, I would probably need take it up with them, lol. 😅
