Summary
Neil responds with a tiny smirk and crawls over his boyfriend. He places the ashtray on Andrew’s nightstand and moves to take the joint from between his fingers, but Andrew holds fast and raises an eyebrow.
“I wasn’t done,” he says.
“Oh.” Neil starts backing away.
But Andrew grabs Neil’s shirt collar and pulls him closer. “Not done with you, either.”
Neil and Andrew win their first professional championship game together and celebrate with a joint.

Summary
“You are a terrible liar, Special Agent Minyard.”
His voice is not what Andrew expected, neither smooth nor gravelly, but something in between that sweeps into the cracks of his pores and sends goosebumps skittering across his skin. It’s dripping with taunting contempt, but behind that layer lies a hidden curiosity.
“It did its job, did it not?” Andrew shoots back and tilts his body so he is now facing Nathaniel fully.
Or: FBI Agent Andrew finds himself faced with a conundrum when someone keeps meddling with his job. They fuck.

Summary
Andrew is standing in the away goal when something finally interesting happens, and Kevin Day walks through the home team tunnel.
For the last two years, he’s been at the Michigan State University as their star forward—a fact Andrew really doesn’t care to know, except for the fact that it was all Knox could talk about during the last championship season, when Day had all but single-handedly turned a team that hadn’t seen a victory since the early naughts into the terrifying beast of the NCAA and Big Ten conference they are now, and then promptly announced that he intended to transfer universities during the postgame interviews after they won their title. For all he didn’t care, Andrew still got a kick out of watching the mess that unfolded in the aftermath.
As for why he’s standing behind the plexiglass boards at Palmetto State, watching them do their little circus act with calculating intensity, Andrew doesn’t know.
