Tony has absolutely no interest in this marriage but his mom seems to think this is a good idea. “I worked hard on finding someone you would actually get along with, Tony. I’m sure you will be happy,” she says.
Happy with someone in some random foreign nation that he’s never met before? Yeah, he gives his mom an incredulous look for that. “Something tells me this isn’t going to end well, but it’s only the rest of my life,” he mumbles.

Summary
Tony isn't a healthy man. He's fine with that, really. It makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, he has a job to do that kind of has his health as a major requirement. So he unmakes himself, remakes the Accords, protects every single child super that enters his field of view, and hopes ferociously that the Avengers never come back to the US. He doesn't spend any time at all rebuilding Bucky Barnes' life. Not a single second. Anything he does that contributes to him is simply an accident.
Bucky is a patient man. It's ok if Tony wants to ignore him for now. He won't be able to forever.

Tony watches as Bucky tracks his movements with an easy confidence that should probably make him uncomfortable. He knew the man’s skills set and the way he was looking at Tony was like he was some kind of snack- he probably shouldn’t feel so comfortable with an assassin looking at him like a meal to be eaten but here he was.
