Summary
For some long, covetous moments, Robin drank sight of the resting figure beside him, the curve of its outline. The solid slopes of him rising and falling like breath, like a mountain range. Pathless. Oceanic and latent. He felt small in the shadow of that shape, standing shaky on ground he hadn’t routed, suspended in the agony of unknowing.
Over the uncharted space that lie between them, Robin sent his fearful hand searching across the gap.
In the days after Validar used him to steal the emblem, Robin has not been able to escape his mental influence. He is constantly plagued by visions, headaches, shame, and fear. After several days of isolating himself with these struggles, Chrom intervenes.

Summary
Chrom laughs quietly, which Robin is glad for; she hasn’t heard him so much as giggle the whole way back to Ylisstol. She cracks a smile in return, and doesn’t shy away when Chrom leans his back against the railing at her side, his arm brushing against her shoulder. "You gave me a good reason to get out, though, after you disappeared like that. I told the others I’d look for you.”
Robin smiles softly. “Well, you found me,” she murmurs lightheartedly.
Chrom falls silent for a moment, each breath of his sending clouds of fog into the air, until he finally says, “It’s hard to celebrate when I keep seeing her face every time I close my eyes.”
