The witcher turned to look at the man who had spoken. “I didn’t know they had boys here.”
“Watch who you’re calling a boy,” the whore said with a lopsided smile. Geralt looked closer at him.
No, not a boy, but he looked very young and it was difficult to determine his age. He was dark-haired and tall — about as tall as the witcher — but he was trying to make himself seem smaller, looking up at Geralt through his eyelashes.
They were pretty eyelashes, and pretty blue eyes.

Summary
Jaskier is still nursing a broken heart after Geralt left him on the mountain in S1. A fan asks him to play Burn Butcher Burn with Geralt in attendance. It leads to Jaskier finally confronting Geralt and Geralt having a realisation a long time coming. Set post season 2.

“You didn’t tell me about the burn,” Geralt says, his mouth a thin line.
“You didn’t ask.” Jaskier says, laying both hands flat over the strings, looking at Geralt challengingly.
“Usually don’t have to.”
“Maybe I got tired of our one sided friendship,” Jaskier says before he can stop himself. Fuck, that is not how he meant to say that.
By the looks of it, Geralt doesn’t take it too well either.
He stands up, staring at Jaskier as if he grew a second head.
“Tired?” He says, hands clenching and unclenching against his sides.
“When was the last time you called me your friend, Geralt?” Jaskier says, starting to get agitated. “When was the last time you asked me something, something that didn’t directly relate to Yennefer, Ciri, or you needing me to do something? When was the last time you apologized, for anything you have said to me?”OR; Jaskier still helps Geralt, still goes to Kaer Morhen, but Geralt has still to act like or say that Jaskier is his friend.

Summary
During the peace talks between the White Wolf and Redania, Jaskier meets a witcher. Predictably, he soon falls in love. The problem is, he doesn't know the full truth of who Geralt is, and secrets can only remain secrets for so long.
