“Otherwise Harry will die”, they said.
Well. He has no fucking idea who 'Harry' is, and Black is a particular pain in his ass even post-graduation, but Severus just cannot run from a challenge, can he?
After all, winning a war couldn’t be that complicated.

JK Rowling's opinions on trans rights are very harmful and dangerous and have prompted me to boycott Rowling's work despite my past affection for the books. I'm leaving this fic up because I know some folks still like to enjoy Harry Potter, but I urge readers to consider doing so only in ways that don't give Rowling more money and power to spend on attacking trans people at a time when the whole LGBTQ+ community, but our trans members most of all, are in such danger. As fans of a series that is literally about fighting oppression, I hope we can live up to the message of the books rather than the ideas of their misguided author. <3

AU Order of the Phoenix - everything is canon compliant, except Sirius and Snape are fuck buddies throughout. Ch 1 & 2 is mainly hate frottage. Ch 3 & 4 they start emotional bonding. Ch 5 is angst, and inevitable canon character death. But we sometimes like to be sad right?
