Summary
It wasn’t his fault that people didn’t do what they were supposed to do. If he loaned someone money and they didn’t pay it back, it was only fair of him to go after what he was due. Arguably, his methods could be considered scary or violent or criminal but all's fair in love and war.. or rather in loans and repayment.
He didn’t get where he was by taking out loans and not paying them back; he got where he was by stealing money and killing whoever would even think of asking for it back. A real entrepreneur if he was going to be completely honest about it.
He handled his debts so it was only fair that the Sakurayashiki family handled theirs.
When Kojiro demands repayment from Sakurayashiki family for a loan that they were unable to repay he gets more than he bargained for with their pink-haired spitfire of a son.

Summary
Lately, Kojiro was no stranger to wakeful nights, his sleep disrupted by an elbow to the gut or the covers being ripped off his frame as Kaoru leapt from the bed, his eyes glazed over and panicked, not looking around his bedroom, but at something or someone far away.
Some nights he leaned closer, seeking Kojiro out, other nights he sobbed if Kojiro touched him. There were rare nights that he slept just fine and Kojiro liked those nights the best, even if he sometimes woke up with a numb arm from Kaoru forsaking his pillow for Kojiro’s bicep.
Kojiro helps Kaoru heal following the Kaoru's experiences with Aiichiro.

Summary
Every year, without fail, Kaoru finds himself looking forward most to March.
For an array of reasons, really: his love for the coming of spring, his awe at how the cherry blossoms bud and bloom, his adoration for school holidays, back when he was a child. Kaoru remembers well how so excited at the thought of being able to spend the fair-weathered days crouched next to Kojiro, rolling glass marbles, chewing on sata andagi, and blowing bubbles, he’d barely be able to sleep the nights before.
And, even now, he is the same. Because March, most importantly of all, is his birth month; in a few weeks, it will be his birthday.
(It ends up being his worst one yet.)
