Two years after the war, Hermione, Harry, Ron, and a few others repeated their last year. Or rather, the one they never got to start. It began during the train ride, when Ron and Hermione argued until she left the compartment with her bag and Crookshanks and looked for a new one. She finally found the one where Draco and Harry were sitting, and what Hermione would never have thought possible... Crookshanks, who wouldn't let anyone touch him, lay down on Draco's lap after about half an hour and let himself be stroked.
They talked for a long time, laughed, exchanged ideas, and finally shared some sweets...
Before the train journey, Hermione had thought that it might be a stupid idea to do the year at all... but during the train journey, she changed her mind... at least until... Potions. -
