The night he meets JJ for the first time, the world does tilt and fall, but only because the bartender’s been offering him free drinks in a (futile) campaign to get into his pants, and the alcohol in his veins makes the edges of his vision blur, every limb of his body boneless and heavy. He might feel guiltier about accepting the drinks, but he’s drowning in college loans and knows there’s no way he’s getting drunk out of his own wallet.

Summary
Yuri Plisetsky, youngest son of the legendary skater husbands Viktor and Yuuri Katsuki-Nikiforov, was only trying to relax and meditate the night before his senior debut at the Rostelecom Cup. He had never wanted to get way into a fucking debate about an annoying rockstar with an equally-annoying stranger. In fact, he had never even wanted to discover that said equally-annoying stranger was actually the aforementioned annoying rockstar!
Based on @skygemspeaks' Stepfamily AU (my own version), rockstar!JJ AU (I actually don't know if this exists), and the writing prompt, “ur just a random stranger and i’ve been ranting to you for like 20 minutes about how much i hate this one band but now several groups of people came up to you asking for pics and autographs, and oh shit it turns out you’re in the band i’ve been going on about” AU.
