Formula 1 is a lonely sport.
Oscar supposed it was his own fault for believing that he could meet real friends - actual, genuine friends, not work friends forced by proximity. He used to think Lando was his friend, until he started outperforming his teammate, until Hungary 2024 happened.
All of a sudden, Oscar was alone again. He was fine with that - well, he'll learn to be. Until two drivers came into his life, laughing at his lame jokes and saying his name in a way that makes Oscar's stomach flip like a 12-year-old boy with a silly little crush.
So he lets himself hope, dream, and pray.
