Summary
Uncle Iroh- for some reason Zuko yet again failed to understand -refused to shoot lightning at his nephew. When further asked about it, he'd said something about it being for safety and health reasons (although it was still a bit unclear whose health he was referring to).
Zuko had never been able to count on luck though. If he wanted to ensure he could get an upper hand against his family, he would have to go and look for one himself, like with pretty much everything else in his life.
But perhaps people should really be careful of what they wish for. It might become true in the least expected ways.
Or:
Zuko gets cursed by the spirits and things go differently than expected, but also not much changes -

Summary
The 41st division, scorned by the kingdom for their failings, have set off on a dangerous mission to track down and face the most powerful bender in the world, the Avatar. Led by Zuko, a banished prince determined to prove his worth, the men have lost many of their comrades to this foolish quest. Now, they must embark on the most crucial part of the journey, coming face-to-face with their nemesis. Together, they will face the ultimate challenge, risking everything for the chance to redeem themselves and bring peace and honor back to their land.
His father, Firelord Ozai, had once told him about the harsh realities of the world. He had warned him that there would be pain and suffering, and Zuko had taken that lesson to heart. During the three years since he had been banished, he had endured many hardships and challenges, and he had utilized that pain and suffering as a way to strengthen himself into the hardened soldier he was today. His time in the real world had taught him many valuable lessons that were essential for survival, and he was determined to prove that his father had been wrong about him all along.

Summary
Azula did not believe in miracles. If she wanted to save her brother, she'd need to do it herself.
(Zuko was a lot of things, but before everything else he was hers. No one else got to hurt him, not even Ozai.)
(Azula always lies. She had to. But she didn't lie to Zuko, not really.)
Also Known As: The time where Zuko cared a little more about being a brother than impressing his father, and Azula refuses to be outdone. Also Also Known As: The time when the White Lotus looked at Ozai and decided he didn't deserve nice things.
