Summary
“The machinations of the Hunt will continue to haunt these lands,” Flins tells Varka, a kiss left to the strong line of his jaw. “Cleansing takes time.”
“Then the wind can’t take me home yet.” Varka’s hands are rough, calloused, and the pads of fingers press to the soft lines of Flins’s waist. Drop to Flins’s front, to thumb at hip bones and down to the crease of thighs.
- Varka and Flins indulge on a rare day off, and in turn, indulge in one another come morning.

Summary
Two moons had passed since Flins began living in Mondstadt, beneath the same roof as Varka. Several weeks had passed since their wedding beneath the high arches of the Mondstadt church, when spring was still young and the air smelled of new leaves and thawed stone. Their vows had been spoken clearly, their hands joined before the altar, yet the marriage itself remained unconsummated. Them being both alphas might face some problem in their marriage.
“Something like this would not break me. I trust you more than anyone. You should trust yourself too, Varka.”

At their university, there’s one golden ticket everyone whispers about: the prestigious housing grant that covers full rent for students living with their partners. It’s supposed to be progressive, celebrating “non-traditional domestic partnerships.” But for Varka and Flins, it feels more like a lifeline.
Rejected for individual aid and running out of options, they’re desperate enough to do the unthinkable: lie. Pretend to be a couple. Share an apartment. Keep the act believable. Easy, right?
Except, of course. Nothing about faking a relationship is ever that simple.

While basking in the usual afterglow one night, Varka pulls out a ring from the bedside table. Flins lifts his head from the man’s broad chest— very much like a curious cat— and eyes the offering.
Varka finally proposes to the love of his life— a humble ratnik from Nod-Krai.

“What about you, my love? Do you prefer a boy? A girl?”
Varka hums, seriously pondering the question. “You know I don't mind either, moonlight,” He declares after a while, “But imagine a tiny girl with two moons for her eyes just like yours. She would have beautiful, silky, dark hair that we can put in braids or pigtails!”
"Is that so?” Flins can't help the smile on his lips. “I wouldn't mind either as well. But think about a boy, with blue eyes like the clear sky, hair the color of wheat, and a laughter that brings everyone joy.”
Varka laughs, reaching up to kiss Flins softly. “Then how about twins? A boy and a girl at once?”
Flins smacks his head lightly at that comment. “Certainly, if you don't mind being the one birthing them.”
