The marauders are too busy with order work to answer her letters; witches and wizards are disappearing daily; and Regulus Black has been disappearing straight through that walls of the castle not that she's been watching him or anything.

Jacque shook her head in disbelief. “And yet you say I'm arrogant.”
Regulus’s smirk deepened, as they turned another corner of the dimly lit castle. “Confidence is not the same thing as arrogance.”
Jacque narrowed her brows. It would have been much easier to deal with Regulus Black if he didn't act as though he was better than everyone all the time. “I don’t need you to tell me the difference, Black.”
He cocked his head to the side, giving her another patronizing look. “Are you sure about that?”
Jacque met his gaze with an equally icy glare. “Does it ever get tiring, looking down your nose at people all the time?”
Regulus twitched slightly at her words, before a triumphant grin spread across his face. “I have great stamina, Potter.”
