Summary
It is the final year of high school for Adora, who is unsure about her future and what lies beyond graduation. On the first day of the year, she meets a new student in her class: Catra, who proceeds to turn Adora's life upside down as she comes to terms with her feelings, sexuality and life in general, along with meeting her new friends at the school's Pride Club.
Slowly through this chaos, Adora and Catra form a bond like no other, but Adora worries about Catra's home life with her adoptive mother, Shadow Weaver, and why Catra seems to run away from home so often.
As answers are revealed and paths are formed, Adora slowly discovers what love truly is, and grows more close to Catra than she ever could have imagined...

The star really tied the whole thing together. Adora lowers herself down and Catra hops off her shoulders. "Not bad." Catra says, gesturing to the tree. She turns to look at Adora who wasn't looking at the tree, she was staring at Catra for god knows what reason.
"Yeah," Adora says and her voice is thick for some reason but she presses on. "we make a pretty good team." Catra bumps her shoulder against Adora's.
"Yeah," Catra says, grin spreading across her face, she examines the tree again. "we do." They shuffle closer and Catra feels Adora's hand beside her own and before she knows what she's really doing she connects their pinky fingers together. They stand like that for a while before settling back on the couch.
Or, the Christmas au I spent countless hours on because Christmas makes me soft and what could be better than a catradora Christmas au with them as childhood best friends turned lovers?

The woman paused by the shattered doorway.
“I said I’ll be fine.”
Catra glared. “At least tell me your name, so that when I read about your dumb ass in a ditch I’ll know it’s you.”
The woman sighed and for a second Catra thought she would ignore her and just leave.
“Adora,” she finally choked out. “My name is Adora.”
And with that, Adora disappeared into the darkness of night.

Adora suffers from the werewolf curse. She closes herself off to love and forgiveness, deciding she deserves all the suffering. Catra feels compelled to figure out what's going on with Adora, and when she finds out, she's determined to show Adora that she deserves to be forgiven and loved, and that she does not deserve to suffer.
Will love be her salvation?
