i keep coming back to this at all times of the year… no matter the amount of times i leave the mcu fandom, this fic is always the one that brings me back. in the 3 years i’ve known of its existence, all i have is wholehearted appreciation for it. i love a christmas carol and howard stark is among my favorite shitty dad characters (even if that may be awful to say) because his struggles truly were a part of a generational trauma. i don’t know much, but what i do know is that this truly is one of my favorite posts in the archive. say what you want about anything, but one thing that cant be shaken is my appreciation and love for this fic.
